Forgotten

• Description: This poem I wrote last year after losing a friendship with one of my so called best friends.
  This girl use to be my best friend until jr. high when she decided she wanted to be popular and that I wasn't good enough for her. now she treats me like a replacement for her other friends when they won't talk to her. I wrote this poem to express those feelings.
  
  edit: well the poem being cut off must of been a fluck so I made it normal size again.

Unspoken words,
Hidden in the fog,
Created by the rain,
Pouring down on the flame,
That burned away the peaceful memories,
That I had left of you.
Although your still there,
The person you were is not,
Almost like a soulless clone,
Someone I don’t know,
Years have passed,
We never cross paths,
Until today at least,
You greet me with a smile,
I frown with trouble,
Of seeing your unfamiliar face,
“Have you forgotten about me,” you ask,
I shake my head with sorrow,
I will never forget who you use to be,
But I wish I could forget everything you’ve become to me.
