-
A rose blooms under the musky sky
Alone among the desert cracks.
Wind pounds against the brittle stem.
The crimson slowly losing blood, bruised.
Bright and beautiful no more,
Withered, dry.
The black bee just passes by.
Hour of death, petals surrender,
One by one falling,
Like blood upon the floor.
