• Laughing smiles, swirling gowns and delicate tapered heels. The room was a swirl, a veritable maelstrom of color spinning round and round and round. The night was cool, the air was clean, and the stars were all a bright. And swirls of clouds wreathed the moon in a milky halo of light. I looked at him and he looked at me, with eyes as bright as the sky. I hated him but oh how I loved him just as much.

    And so we danced. Because that’s all we could do.





    ((This is a drabble. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is a very short piece of literature that is 100 words or less. I thought it would be a nice challenge and man I was right! it was so hard for me to not go into more detail.
