• A gust of ominous wind smashes through the un-expecting air, whistling as it goes, it eventually stops when it hits a gut clenching, spooky and simply terrifying house, the house was surrounded by a thick layer of quagmire, this was peculiar, who would want to live in a house in such a evil, excluded and sinister feeling place like this?

Squelch, step by step, one foot in front of the other, seems simple enough, or it would be if the muddy bog didn’t engulf your foot with each step, it was like a monster, eating away at the only food source it has ever found, probably because i was the ony one stupid enough to walk through this diabolical land, by myself, at night.

A large moon stares down at me, silently, staring, watching, it never blinks. it just waits. The smell of the bog attacks me, it feels unusual, horrible but strangely familiar.
A old decrepit path appears, it sits there with its mud covered stones, this gives me the idea that im not the first person stupid enough to walk into this lifeless place, the mud covered footsteps seem to enter the house, but non leave, was this an omen?

I continue regardless, just as i go to open the wooden door that looks like something out of a unrealistic horror film as a child, i notice that the shoes that i used to walk through the bog were unrecognizable, they were brown, with parts hanging off, a new style choice? No. me having to fork out on some new shoes when i get home? Possibly.
