• -Sullivan House- (3rd Person P.O.V)

It was a nice December night. Everyone was out, or at home, enjoying their time. No one thought that this "wonderful" night would turn into a tragic death scene with only one question; "Why?"

Jimmy sat in the old wooden chair, thinking about how life was. It was dramatically cold outside, even in California standards, but Jimmy sat there...thinking.The last time he saw someone in the band he was in, Avenged Sevenfold, was during Zacky's cocktail party. He didn't drink for once. He wanted to take in the beautiful smiles and faces, one last time.

He hoped that people would remember him for how he was. The "always a nice smile" kind of guy. The drummer of Avenged Sevenfold, the one guy that could put a smile on anyones face. No matter what.

"No matter what..." He thought out loud. Jimmy got up and walked inside his house. Looking back at the ocean, saying good-bye to it one last time. While closing the door behind him, Jimmy went over to Leana. Whom was sleeping peacefully on the living room couch. He smiled, kissed her forehead and left her a hand-written note on the stairs. He absolutly hated leaving this way, but he knew his time was coming rather he or anyone else liked it or not. The only person he hated living, minus the guys in Avenged, Leana, his family, and the fans, was a kid who lived with Zacky Vengeance. Her name was Erin. He loved her like a sister, they couldn't be seperated. He went up to his bedroom, locked the door, and surveyed the room. "The pain will finally be over. No more...no more."

-Erin's P.O.V-(The 17 year old who lives in Zacky and Gina Vengeance.)

"Jimmy no!" I screamed. I jolted up out of my deep sleep. Trying to catch my breath, I looked around my room. "Something isn't right..."I grabbed my phone and dialed Jimmy. No answer. I panicked.Zacky bursted into my room, red faced, saying that we needed to go.

"Whats wrong?" I asked him rushing down the stairs to the front door.

"Somethings happened. Gena, stay here in case the Lacy and Michelle come by."

Valary, Matt's wife, was in our living room crying over Gena's shoulder. Whom was also crying. I was confused as to what was going on. No one was telling me anything. For all I know someone close the Avenged Family was dead or something. I prayed it wasn't one of the guys.

Zacky hurridly shoved me into his car. "Dude, Zacky. Calm down, and tell me what happened." I tried to say in a calm voice. This family had a bad habit of not telling whats wrong with them.

"Huntington Beach..." A voice came over the radio. "I'm sorry to inform you that..." Zacky turned off the radio.

"Zacky?" I looked at him. He was focused on the road, running all red lights. I didn't understand what was happening, why Val and Gena were crying. Why my dream was so realstic. Then I heard Jimmy's voice in my head saying; "Whatever happens, don't be afraid. Don't worry and be happy." Even though he stole the last sentence from a Bob Marley song. Jimmy always knew the right thing to say.

Road block. "********!" Zacky turned the car off. "Get out, we have to walk." "Zacky!" I yelled. By now we were both out of the car, and walking through the blockade. "What the ******** is going on!?" I grabbed his heavily tattoo'd arm.

    "Erin...Jimmy..his.."

I looked at him, he didn't even have to finish the sentence to tell me what was going on. I ran for it. I needed to know that Jimmy was at least the slightest bit okay. Flashing lights were bouncing off the pavement, and the concerte walls of the Sullivan house.Leana was sitting on the edge of the sidewalk. Her face buried in her hands. I saw Brian with Matt, and Johnny. Staring in disbelief. Thats when I saw the gurny.
    "You left my arms tonight..."

    --Brians P.O.V--

Michelle started shaking me awake. I could hear her crying, saying that something bad just happened. I thought she was just messing with me, so I shrugged her off.

"Brian, get up!" She kept saying in between sobs, "It's Jimmy. He isn't waking up!"

Thats when I jolted out of bed. The guys knew something was wrong with him, we just didn't know what. I grabbed the nearest shirt, having slept in my jeans for some reason, and ran out of my and Michelle's bedroom. I couldn't even think striaght, my best friend was possiably hurt and I wasn't there for him.

"Oh please God, don't let him be dead." I said walking out the front door, "I swear, if something bad happens to Jimmy..."

Michelle stayed behind, calling the others just in case they hadn't got the news yet. I wanted her to come with me, but seeing Jimmy's body, if he did pass, wasn't something I wanted her to see. I got into the car, and sped down the little strip of highway that divided his house from mine. When I got there, I wasn't ready for what I was about to see.

    --Matt's P.O.V--

I got a call from Leana saying that Jimmy locked himself in their bedroom, and wasn't responding to any of her words. My first reaction was that he was asleep, possiably from drinking to much, and didn't want to be bothered. I told Leana to call back once she got the door open. Two hours later, she called again, this time crying.

"Matt, he left me a letter near the couch where I was sleeping. I can't read it to you. Please come over and get this damn door open!"

Reluclently, I stopped playing my game of "Call Of Duty" and drove over to Jimmy's house. Valary came with me, and was kind of worried. I was to, but it might have just been a note saying "I love you, and blah blah." You never knew with Jimmy. When we got to the house, Valary rushed out of the car. Leana came bursting out of the house in tears and told Valary to go to Zacky and Gena's house. At this point, I wasn't understanding what was going on. Valary took my keys before I could say anything and drove off. Leana grabbed my arm and dragged me upstairs to their bedroom door.

"Kick it open, I don't care if you break it. Just open it!" She said in between sobs.

I tried to open it, just in case it really wasn't locked, but it was. I rammed into the door, telling Leana to stay in the hallway just in case Jimmy was going psycho. Thats when I saw his body...lifeless.

    "Leana...go downstairs."

    "Why?! Matt what happened."

"Leana, just go downstairs and call 911."

She ran into the room. She stopped mid-way in between the door and me, and saw Jimmy. I didn't know what to do, my best friend was laying there, lifeless, while Leana just stood there. Then she started screaming and crying, and fell down saying; no over and over again. I had to psychically drag her down the stairs into the living room. She kept clawing at me, telling me she needed to be with Jimmy. That he was going to be okay, or that he was just playing a prank on us. I called the emergency service anyway, and told them to get here as fast as they could. Jimmy was either dead or dying, and this wasn't the best situation.

    --Johnny's P.O.V--

I got a call from both Michelle and Valary all at the same time. Michelle was crying, and Valary was driving in a car or something. I was half-way asleep when they called me, saying that I needed to get to Jimmy's house quick. I asked them why and they just said go.

No one could get ahold of Zacky, so Valary was on her way to his house. Lacy was with me when we drove over to Jimmy's house. She was nervous, and kept praying.

"Lacy, Jimmy's okay. If anything, they can't get him to wake up because he is drunk."

"You don't know that JOHNNY!" She gave me a curt look.

"Look, Jimmy's okay. We're gonna go see him and try to help Matt wake him up. Okay."

When we got there, a cop car was already there. Great, a disturbance of the peace? We tried getting out of the car, but a second cop car showed up. Parking right by my door.

"Hey, this is my best friend's house. Can I go see whats going on?" I asked rolling the car window down.

One of the officers inside the car stared at me and said; "You don't want to go in there, it's best if you and your girlfriend stay outside Johnny."

Lacy and I managed to get out of the car, and walked over by a group of people. They asked us what was going on. We were just confused as they were. I felt like I was obligated to be in that house with Matt. Trying to figure what the hell was wrong with Jimmy. Thats when Matt came out, with the worst look on his face. I didn't need to know what happened.

    --Brian's P.O.V--

Finally arriving at Jimmy's house, there was a crowd of nieghbors gawking.I picked Matt, Johnny, and Lacy out of the crowd. I parked my car just a few houses away, and walked in the semi-cold weather to the others.

"Guys, what happened?" I asked. I folded my arms around my chest, trying to keep warm.

Matt looked at me, his eyes had purple streaks under them. Indicating that he had been crying. "Brain, Jimmys...he's gone."

"He's gone." Words I've thought I'd hear in the same sentence with Jimmy's name. Not until we were like, eighty something. I went up to the house, blank faced. The cops tried to stop me from going in there, but I told them to get their ******** hands off me. They could have stopped me, but the clear anger and saddness in my face told them to not mess with me. Walking inside the house, there was yellow police tape blocking off the stairs. Leana was having a mental breakdown on the living room couch, while some guy tried to calm her down. He looked at me, then continued with what he was doing. I broke the one plastic line holding me from Jimmy. I slowly walked up the stairs, and turned into Jimmy and Leana's bedroom. Thats when I saw him. I got on my knees, and just starting crying. My best friend, bandmate for over ten years, and someone I considered a brother was ******** gone. And there was nothing I could do about it. I grabbed his hand, it was cold and icy, and looked up his arm to his face.

    "Why?"

Thats when I got up, and punched the brick wall that was part of a fireplace mantal.

    "******** WHY JIMMY!?!"

The police ran up to the room, and started to grab me, trying to get me out of the room. I told them to ******** off, it was my friend who just died and I was going with him. I tried my hardest to get out of their grip, finally going limp. I just broke down.

    --Matt's P.O.V--

The police came out of the house, dragging Brian, who broke down finally. His hand was bleeding, and his eyes were bloodshot. The fact that Jimmy is gone got to him. It got to all of us. The sight of Brian crying, while being carried, made Lacy scream. The reality just hit her like a cannonball. She fell to the ground, and Johnny did his best trying not to cry in front of her. But it didn't work. No one really knew that Jimmy was really gone, until Brian had been dragged out.

    "REV!" Some kid shouted out.

The kid bolted out of the crowd of people, I grabbed him before he got far. He kept telling me to let him go, and threatned me. I almost laughed, but considering the circumstance I didn't. He buried his head into my arms, bawling saying that Jimmy didn't deserve to go. crying
