• Outside of the mansion, a slim figure all in black slipped past the camera in the corner of the wall. He knew exactly were the gaurds would be, and where any other surveillance was. His movements were snake-like and educated, like he'd been around the place before. He had. Many times. The young man had to make sure he knew the large layout before trying to break in. he had started undercover, and no one had suspected him at all. It wasn't as hard as he thought, especially after noticing that his target's room had its window open.

Alina had her back to the open window, brushing her dark golden hair and facing the closet. She was tired and her eyelids were drooping. The day had been busy, her father having made said arrangements and forcing her undergo those ridiculously unimportant classes. Etiquette, posture, things like that made her eyes roll in a normal teen's ignorance.

Scaling the short wall up to the his preferred entrance was simple. The young man easily ended up on the balcony, and flattened himself on the left side of the window to remain unnoticed. Not like he'd been heard, with footsteps falling as silent as a theif's should. He peered in, smirking underneath the black material around his mouth that hid his identity and quieted his breath. Unbelievable. Just, unbelievable. He nearly laughed, but that would mean his effort was in vain and he'd be heard. This would be the easiest quest yet, "The Ransom for Miss Alina Hyliard~" It was ironic that no one else had taken it until now, how difficult did they expect this to be? Then again, he would know this place unlike anyone else.

She was left ungaurded, in her room. Just...There. "This is much, much to easy.." He whispered so low there was almost no sound, even though he would know, and tightened his grip along the material in his grasp. He began to slip through the window.

Done with brushing her hair, Alina yawned quietly, and reached out her arm put away the brush. Her eyes suddenly widened as a firm hand grabbed her own and shoved it, along with her other, to her back and quickly tied them. Taken by complete surprise, she went to call for her gaurds when a dark fabric was tied around her mouth, and a hand along with it to muffle any protest she would go to make. Knowing how futile it'd be, she made no struggle, which and surprised her captor as he pulled her back onto her balcony.

Alina glared at the figure leading her outside, she'd like to see who was trying to kidnap her this time, not another clothed in black. Maybe it was someone who'd tried before? Who else would be able to slip inside her room so easily? Her focus faltered as she felt the binding on her hands loosen, and she worked on the poorly tied knot as she felt the person grasp her tight and leap from the small, short balcony. The landing was too sudden a jolt, but that aided the unfurling rope and it dropped with a thud.

Not only were Alina's hands freed, but as the man regained his own focus from the jump, she realized her mouth only had black cloth over it now. The hand had been removed to ensure his hold on the victim as they jumped. Tearing it away with her hands, Alina looked to her home and prepared.her voice to call a friend, the rare blue-eyed new gaurd always outside her room at night, gaurding the grounds beneath the balcony she'd just been torn from. Where was he..?

"Jason!" She called out in hopes of alerting that new guard, and that made her captor's face turn to look at her. "What?" That came from him. She gasped, seeing familiar blue eyes and felt a wave of understanding. "Oh..My..."

He muttered a curse, covered her mouth and grasped one of her free hands, yanking her away from her home and to the trees. She'd figured it out. Damn it...Did I need to answer? s**t... Jason thought, mentally cursing repeatedly at what he'd done. Good thing the ransom's high~ He thought to himself, for the thousandth time that night. At least he hadn't earned her trust for nothing. Now, just to reach the horses he'd prepared...But first, her hands must be bound again...Jason cursed aloud, thinking of all the screw ups he'd just made and how much more difficult he'd made the situation. At least he'd placed the note on her pillow, now the next person to enter Alina's room would know what had happened.
