• CHAPTER 14: GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD TRASH

In other words, goodbye Yuki! Time to join Rauel!

Eichi hissed out some colorful sentences at her and I glared at her. She whimpered at Eichi, her bottom lip quivering. She looked at him with big, pleading eyes. I stood up and grabbed the collar of Yuki's shirt.

    "Ay--" Eichi protested behind me.

I lifted Yuki up and threw her on the ground, similar to what Rauel did to me. She let out a loud cry and glared at me. Eichi looked at me in disbelief, but also in encouragement. Yuki scrambled to her feet, sneering some "offensive" words that didn't seem to "offend" me. She pressed my back up against Eichi and my table, mumbling some curse to herself. Eichi stared at me, burning a hole through my side. Yuki let out a rippling cry and stomped on my foot. It didn't faze me at all, seeing as I had a casted, broken wrist at the moment.

I smirked and kicked Yuki's weak spot; her shin. She tumbled backwards and fell on her back. She gaped at me in surprise and I pressed my thumb against her adam's apple and sneered greatfully, "Good riddance to bad trash!" Yuki scowled and noticed my broken wrist, so she slipped off my cast without me realizing and snapped my already broken bone in half. I screamed and fell onto the floor, holding my pained wrist.

Eichi popped up from the chair and picked Yuki up, noting that she rebroke my healing, but still broken, wrist. He bit deeply into her neck, not really caring because we were the only three people in the cafe. Her blood trickled down his neck and her face got paler and paler, her thrashing died down, she got a little paler, and went limp. Eichi threw here on the ground, her blood all over his face.

"E-Eichi...! Y-You...!" I cried out. I was happy she was gone, but... but... I just couldn't wrap my finger around the fact she was gone forever. At least she was with Rauel; maybe now she can have the boyfriend she'd always wanted. Well, whatever, what he did to protect me wasn't right. He should've just... oh, I don't know... stormed out of the cafe with me.

Eichi slipped my cast back on my wrist and picked me up bridal-style. Only when he picked me up did he realize how pale I was. He left our stuff on the table--it wouldn't be wasted, considering it was free--and glided out of the cafe, leaving Yuki's soulless body on the ground, still bleeding. He got into the driver side and put me on his lap. I giggled, despite how weak I was from fighting Yuki.

"Why aren't I in the passenger seat?" I giggled.

Eichi chuckled in reply, "Because I want you close to me."

I rolled my eyes and giggled again. Eichi put the car into "drive" and we sped off. The ride wasn't actually that long, considering Eichi went about two hundred miles per hour! I gripped Eichi's pants, trying not to fly forward. I realized Eichi hadn't buckled his seatbelt, so I did the honors for him.

We returned to Wakoji and Hanajimi's humungous mansion, parking abruptly in the garage. Eichi picked me up bridal-style again and teleported into the house, probably too lazy to open and close the car door.

We were greeted by a boy about my age, 18 at the oldest. He was smiling at us, and Takuto was standing behind him, peeking over at Eichi and me. Takuto chuckled at the fact that the boy was just looking curiously at me, so he said, "Ayu, this is Ryuu. He, uh... he was 'adopted' by Wakoji and Hanajima. In other words, they found him." The boy, Ryuu, nodded and grinned. He had really sharp teeth.

"Ayu," he breathed, "you must meet my girlfriend Airashii." I nodded and had Eichi follow Ryuu, because he was carrying me. Ryuu lead us to his room, where a really pretty girl about his age was sitting on his bed. She looked over at me curiously and smiled. She had mouse brown hair, like me, only hers was down to her waist. She had really dark brown eyes, and her skin was pretty pale. She was wearing a loose T-Shirt that had a picture of a water lily on it. She was wearing a bright pink ruffled skirt that was extremely short. She was barefoot, obviously.

"Eichi, put me down," I said, and Eichi obeyed. Ryuu took me by my elbow and drug me towards Airashii, his girlfriend. She smiled again and said, "Ayu," like it was a name she had never heard. She looked me up and down, probably noting how messily I put on my sweatpants and camisole. I needed to feel comfortable and look chic at the same time, so I just chose my yoga outfit.

"Airashii, nice to meet you," I mumbled, avoiding eye-contact. I was embarrassed that I was just seeing them now from the while I had been with the other four. Ryuu chuckled and Eichi belted out a laugh.

"What's so funny?!" I sneered, turning around and making all three of them flinch. Ryuu laughed and replied, "Don't you realize that Airashii is gonna end up being your best friend some time soon?" As soon as the words "best friend" slipped out of his mouth, I felt sick to my stomach. "Eichi... bathroom..." I groaned and he followed me to the toilet.

I quickly dropped to my knees in front of the toilet and groaned. I hacked into the toilet and Eichi held my hair back, rubbing the small of my back. I groaned again and tears brimmed my eyes. Ryuu and Airashii ran into the bathroom to see if I was okay. I hacked again and wiped my mouth, flushing the toilet and wiping off my mouth. I washed my mouth out with water and brushed my teeth for what seemed like forever, seeing that Eichi, Ryuu, and Airashii were watching me.

Eichi, Ryuu, and Airashii helped me back into Ryuu's room and they sat me on his bed. I felt weak, tired, and... did I mention I felt weak? Yeah... mostly weak. Ryuu looked at me with a concerned look on his face and asked, "Did I say something wrong...?" I shook my head and a wave of concern washed over Airashii's face.

"I-I'm... fine..." I groaned, although I probably wasn't. My stomach churned pretty loudly--and grotesquely--, just loud enough for everyone to hear. Airashii smiled half-heartedly and said, "Well, why not be best friends now?" I had to use all of my will-power and strength not to dash to the bathroom and vomit once more. I just weakly nodded in response and she hugged me tightly.

"Tch," Eichi complained. Ryuu chuckled at his response and I realized Eichi's eyes were crimson. I politely asked Airashii to stop hugging me and I demanded at Eichi, "You're hungry. Drink," I propped myself up and showed him my neck. He looked at me like "Are you nuts?!" but he compressed his lips to my neck anyway.

Ryuu and Airashii payed no attention, and so Eichi licked the spot on my neck he decided to bite into. Finally, his cuspidate fangs plunged into my neck and I flinched a little bit. My blood flew down Eichi's throat and I almost felt weaker. All I could hear was the occasional conversation of Ryuu and his girlfriend Airashii, my heartbeat, and Eichi gulping down my blood.

The pain of the wound Eichi made on my neck had died down for a while, but it started back again. My heart was beating faster and it hurt even more.

"Eichi, that's enough," I warned. No answer.

"Eichi, no more; enough!" I said louder. Still no answer. I was feeling extremelyt dizzy and lightheaded. I was on the verge of passing out.

"Eichi, no!!" I screamed. Ryuu and Airashii turned their attention to me and Ryuu... growled?! Well, apparently he did. Ryuu ran to Eichi--who was still happily drinking my blood, by the way--and pried him off me easily. Unfortunately, my wound spurted blood one or two feet in front of me and Eichi slurped it all up before it hit the ground with his mouth.

I ran to the bathroom again, but not to puke. I grabbed a cotton ball and some peroxide and leaned over the sink. I poured about half the bottle on my wound and it started bubbling immediately. I dabbed the cotton ball on it and grabbed a band-aid. I put the band-aid on my wound and walked back into Ryuu's bedroom. I looked nervously at Eichi.

"Why... why didn't you listen to me when I told you to stop?" I asked. Eichi sighed and frowned at the sight of my band-aid.

"I got carried away, Ayu, and I'm sorry."

But he looked at me with his longing, crimson eyes again, probably wanting to bite me again.

I sat on the bed again and demanded he bit me again. He crawled onto Ryuu's bed and immediately bit me where he wanted. My other neck wounds were close to healing--thank God.

My blood trailed down his throat and he drank quickly, probably to cease the subtle burn in his throat that was his thirst.

He drank a bit too ferociously and ended up making my wound deeper somehow. I sighed and tried to keep relatively calm, despite the black spots dancing across my eyes, trying to steal my vision. I crossed my arms and looked over at Airashii, who giggled, "That must hurt. Good thing Ryuu is a Werewolf and hates blood."

As soon as she said that Ryuu was a Werewolf, I choked on my own spit. I'm living in the same house as a Werewolf?! Especially after a Werewolf was so close to killing me?! Black spots grew larger in my eyes, clouding most of my vision.

"Eichi, stop," my words were slurred. There was no answer.

"Eichi, stop, I'm gonna faint," I warned. He pulled away, wiping the blood away from his mouth. The black spots dissappeared from my eyes and Eichi's lips crashed onto mine forcefully. I hung my arms loosely around his neck and he wrapped his arms tightly around my waist.

Keeping our lips together, he lifted me onto the ground. Airashii giggled and pecked Ryuu on the lips. I smiled onto Eichi's lips and sighed. I finally figured out something I should've realized much earlier.

I knew I'd love him, through and through, no matter what.

    And I didn't care--I definately didn't care--I still don't care--that he killed Yuki, my former best friend.

    ~.:[Eichi's Perspective]:.~

I tightened my arms around Ayu's waist, pulling her closer to me so we could deepen the kiss. Ryuu, the stupid mutt, and his girlfriend, the one who fell for the stupid mutt, were looking at us, then looking at each other, like they wanted to kiss each other as well.

Although my eyes were closed, I could feel my eye color changing back to crimson. I knew I was still thirsty, but... could I really pain Ayu that much more...? No. She vomited twice, plus she already had two wounds. Well, one covered wound and one opened wound. She had too much pain to withstand already; she didn't need any more.

Ayu pulled away and smiled at me. I opened my eyes, which was probably a huge mistake, because her face immediately shifted to concern. "Drink. Now," she demanded, showing me her neck. She was showing me her most recent wound from me, the one that was healing the slowest; the open wound. I sighed and put my hands on Ayu's shoulders.

"I can't hurt you more than I already have," I complained.

"But if you don't drink, you'll just be hurting yourself," she argued. I sighed again and lowered my mouth to her neck. Her muscles tightened, probably waiting for the pain. My cuspidate fangs slid into her already opened wound, the sweet taste of her blood overflowing my taste buds.

Ayu flinched at the pain I just caused her, but I began to drink her blood. It went down my throat with ease, calming the burn temporarily. After about five minutes, Ayu gripped my shoulders and tried to pry me off her neck.

"Ow, Eichi, off," she begged. I did as she said the first time and groaned.

"You demand I drink your blood and you want me to get enough, but after I had less than half of enough, you cut me off!" I lectured. Ayu's eyes welled up with tears and she threw her arms around my torso, burying her face in my chest.

"I'm sorry!" She cried out, sobbing, "Sorry! Sorry, sorry, sorry!"

I pat her back softly and kissed the top of her head. "It's alright, Ayu my Love," I replied. She sniffled and pulled away. She looked into my eyes and said shakily, "I love you, Eichi..." I kissed her forehead.

"Love you too, Ayu," I replied. She pecked my lips than ran down the stairs. She was probably hungry. I decided to teleport to the kitchen, but before I did, I joked, "Now, Ryuu, don't you and Airashii get to feisty in here, now," and I teleported into the kitchen.

Great timing; as soon as I appeared in the kitchen, Ayu crashed right into me. I was thrusted back quite a bit, and I chuckled dismissively.

"Uwaaah!!" Ayu cried out, "I'm so sorry!" I chuckled again, "It's alright, my love," and Picked her up. I set her on the counter. I started making Ayu some onigiris to hold her off until dinnertime. After a while, they finished, and I decided to tell Ayu a little family secret.
