• Today is not an ordinary day for me. Today is not like the others, the ones of humiliation, fear, pain, and suffering. Today is the day, I show my true colours. I will be able to do what I want, be free, as if I'm walking on clouds, ill be..free. I know what you're probably thinking. Oh it's just another girl, with her normal problems that everyone goes through, she's just dramatic. No, that is not the case this time, it's different, I hardly expected you to understand. Well, in that case, let me show you the reason why.

I am Alexis Wulfe, I am 16 years old. I can't remember much about my past for some odd reason, something tells me I don't really want to know. I am bubbly, outgoing and sometimes stubborn but overall a very nice person. Today is the day my life changes. I am entering an Academy. White Rose Academy to be specific. The academy isn't for what you would say.. normal people. The people who attend here have special gifts, gifts no one could ever imagine possible. Now, what are my powers you say. Well, for one, I have the power to fly, you know, like hover in the air, fly from the ground to the top of a building. I also have the ability to read others minds just by looking at them or thinking of them. And lastly, I have the power to control and manipulate light. You know, create light, fire light balls to blind people. That's why my life is just a little bit different, then yours at least.

Alexis woke up and looked around. She was laying outside of a building. One so big, so full of colour and beauty. Before her were gates that led to the building. She noticed three initials on the building. "W..R..A.." Alexis said to herself, wondering what each letter represented. She looked to her left and noticed a broken mirror on the ground as well as 2 suitcases. Alexis picked up the broken mirror and looked at herself in between the broken pieces. She stared at herself for a moment, blinking. "Bleh! I look so gross!" Alexis stood up still holding the mirror and brushed her clothes off as well as fixing her slightly messy blond hair.

Alexis walked up to the gates, which were unchained, and slowly pushed them open as a high pitched squealing noise came from the gates. She flinched at the sound and remembered her suitcases on the ground. She decided she might as well take them since she didn't have anything else. Alexis continued through the gates and before walking up the large amount of steps to the main entrance she decided to take a detour around the side.

The grass was so green, the rustle of the wind rushing through the trees leaves, the magnificent aroma coming from the nearby rose garden. It was all too perfect to be true. Alexis sat down on a bench that was in the rose garden, it had a strange design on the back of it that she brushed her hand on before sitting down. "What is this place?" Alexis wondered to herself looking all around her. "It looks like a school in a way, but nothing this perfect could ever be a school."

Alexis jumped up and began to head back around to the front. On the way there she felt as if she was being watched, like someone was burning holes into the back of her head with a stare. Alexis quickly turned around looking to see if anyone was there. She saw a couple of bushes were moving, obviously there was something there. Alexis walked over carefully and slowly moved the bush's leaves aside.

"Woof! Woof!" A small dog bounced out of the bush and right on to Alexis, scarring her enough to fall backwards on her back with the dog now sitting on top of her licking her cheek. Alexis giggled and looked at the small puppy. "I'm going to name you..." She thought to herself of a name. "Scruffy!" She smiled as the name just came to her mind. "Would you like to come see what this building is all about with me boy?" Alexis smiled and giggled a little again. "Woof! Woof!" Scruffy barked happily, his tail wagging back and forth. Alexis picked up the Scruffy and headed for the front of the building.

Alexis reached the front and started to climb the stairs holding onto her new companion. Alexis stopped a quarter up the stairs and looked at Scruffy. "Would you like to take the fast way up?" She smiled and before Scruffy could make a sound Alexis started to fly up the stairs all the way to the top step as she lightly touched the ground again. Scruffy looked at her confused at how they got up the steps. "It's okay boy, I won't hurt you." Alexis kissed the top of Scruffy's head and pulled open the large door in front of them as she mumbled to herself. "Is everything here gigantic!" She laughed to herself and went inside. The door closing behind them.

Alexis looked around the giant room in front of her. There were statues with names on them that she couldn't pronounce. There were a couple signs hanging from the roof. Principals office, Boys Dorm, Girls Dorm, Class Rooms. She decided to go to the principals office to see what this place really was about. As she turned to follow the signs directions she bumped into someone and fell onto her back, holding on to Scruffy so he wouldn't get hurt. She rubbed her head and with a groan she looked at the boy who she bumped into.

"H-h-hello." She said shyly, not knowing how to react. The boy she bumped into had sparkling blue eyes and amazing brown hair. He made Alexis feel a feeling she had never felt before, like getting punched in the stomach. It was a beautiful, yet nauseating feeling. The boy looked up and stood up holding a hand out to Alexis. "H-hi!" The boy said, trying to act as normal and calm. "My name is James. Are you new around here?" James asked as he looked at her from head to toe. She's beautiful. James thought to himself.

Alexis took his hand and held Scruffy in the other. He pulled her to her feet and took a deep breath. "Yes..I-I'm new around here. What is this place?" Alexis looked around hinting that she had no clue to what this place was about. James looked at her like she was crazy for not knowing. "It's White Rose Academy. Do you really not know about it?" He asked her confused. Alexis blushed and turned her head. "N-no..Could you explain to me what it is?"

James walked around her. "Well, first of all. White Rose Academy is a...special school." James faces his palm towards the ceiling and a flame appears. He controls it to rise and swirl around his body making it dance. Alexis looked at him in awe and astonishment. "I know, I'm a freak." James said and he looked down a little bit. Alexis shook her head and started to fly. "I'm like you too! I didn't know that there were other people with special powers!" Alexis was so happy she jumped at him and gave him a hug. Realizing what she just did, she pulled away and blushed. "S-sorry."

James blushed a little too, not enough for Alexis to realize. "It's okay. Would you like to apply here as a student?" James smiled and was hoping for her to reply with a yes. He, like Alexis, felt something he had never felt before either. Something new, raging inside his body, wanting out. Alexis nodded and smiled. "I'd love to." She said with a tear forming in her eye. She quickly wiped it away and started to head for the principals office with James.

All of the sudden a book came flying at the back of Alexis' head. James moved in the blink of an eye and caught it before it struck her. Alexis didn't even know that James had moved until he could her the book strike his hand behind her. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" A strange boy wearing glasses walked over, as he did he repeatedly pushed his glasses up. "Connor, what are you doing?!" James yelled at him. His face growing red hot. "Just having a little fun with the new play toy." Connor smirked. Connor was the same height as James but had long black hair and funny looking circular glasses.

Alexis looked up at James and over to Connor who threw the book at her that was now a pile of soot in James hand. He must of burned it. "T-thank you." Alexis whispered to him. James looked over at her and back to Connor. "Leave immediately, you know that the principal gave you one last warning and then you're expelled." Jame growled at him, he was getting more fed up as time went on with him in the same area as them. Connor looked at James and began to turn away. "Fine, but remember. Today after classes." Connor walked away not saying another word.

Alexis looked up at James not knowing what Connor meant by that. "What did he mean 'Today after classes'?" She questioned James. James closed his eyes and turned around towards the principals office. "Nothing." He said nothing more and started walking. "Come on." James said waving his hand to follow. Alexis was confused by what happened but she didn't want to do anything to lose her only friend at the academy so far. She ran up and walked beside him. "Thank you again. For taking me here and protecting me from that guy." Alexis said softly with a slight smile on her face.

"You're welcome." James replied. He didn't seem like himself anymore. What am I doing? I just met this amazing girl and I'm acting like a jerk. I have to pull myself together. James quickly turned around with a smile on his face as they reached the doors to the principals office. "Well, here we are. Just go inside and ask to register and I'll be waiting for you out here." James said with a smile on his face. Alexis looked at the doors and put one hand on it about to push it open. "You're not going with me?" She questioned. "No, the principal...the principal is a little strange." James didn't know any other way to describe him. "Oh..okay." Alexis said, getting a little more nervous with each breath.

Alexis pushed the door open and saw another in front of her with a sign on top of it. Principal Keen is all it said. Alexis walked up the the door, her heart beating so fast it felt like it was going to leave her body. She gripped her chest and held Scruffy close as he licked her cheek for reassurance. "Thanks boy." She muttered to him. Alexis quickly knocked on the door three times and waited for someone to say something allowing her to enter. "Come in.." A raspy voice called from the inside of the door. Alexis took a deep breath and pushed the door open.

Alexis walked into the Principals office and instantly wrinkled her nose. It smelled like blood and sweat. What has this principal been doing? She thought to herself. She looked around, noticing a very nice mahagony desk and a bookcase. The desk had a panoramic view of everything on the grounds and parts of the forest.

"It's beautiful" She muttered and jumped back when the black leather chair behind the desk spun around. "Why thank you miss, I pride myself in keeping my office clean." A handsome man was looking at her with a gorgeous grin. She blushed and almost died. He's handsome!!!!! But not as good looking as James Alexis thought back to her meeting with James, she couldn't get over him and his swimming pool blue eyes.

The principal coughed loudly, and Alexis came back to reality. "I-I'm sorry sir. My name's Alexis Wulfe, I'm a new student here and I had a couple of questions." He smirked, with his sexy black hair and frameless glasses. "My name is Keen Shear. I am the Principal, as you can see. And what questions do you have?"

Well first, what have you been doing in here? She thought to herself with a snicker. "Uh.. What is this place?" She had a curious tone to her voice, it seemed like so much trouble to put a school in the middle of nowhere, even if it was for freaks. Keen smiled "WRA is a school for the 'gifted', the people who would be shunned from society because they have special powers. Here they can live without persecution and live normal lives."

Alexis smiled "It sounds like a nice place." Keen just laughed "Nice is an understatement. This school is paradise. A pool, unlimited forest space, the best living spaces money can buy, and the finest teachers on the planet. And it's all free." "Thats nice" Alexis replied. "So is there anthing else?" Keen scratched his head thinking, causing blood to gush out. "Oh my God!" Alexis squealed and blacked out, hitting the floor with a loud thud. Her blonde hair covered her eyes, and Keen walked over to her. "Silly girl, squeamish I see." He laughed and healed himself, rubbing his head, healing himself. He picked Alexis up and carried her to the dorms.
