• Introduction

Kenji and Taro, two 'half-twin' brothers live in a world that started completely normal just like the one known as "Earth." The world in which they lived on was always recognized as an "Earth Copy" until one faithful day in which a large sudden 'quake' stormed the whole planet. Ever since, these two brothers discovered they had an unusual 'force' of energy and soon took on the forms of 'half-demons.' Now demons, angels, and untapped beings are bounded to walk on this planet for 1,000 years in their current state before their time comes to pass and be reborn again as 'perfect beings.' From the time of only three months and twenty-seven days after the rising quake, this is where our story begins....

    Scene One
    Taro's Plague

:Taro and I were walking down a long rigid road. It was really early in the morning before the sun came up. We couldn't sleep since our new shape has been run over us. It wouldn't allow eyes to, even if we drank hot fluids or took medication, we still couldn't rest. We didn't even get exhausted after running for thirty minutes to an hour at our fastest. Our abilities as 'common beings' were practically normal, but we aren't like any regular person anymore. We're different.
We were out walking all night hoping that somehow we would eventually get to fall onto the pavement into a heavy and calming sleep, but nothing happened, not yet. We came up nearly to the end of the road when more dark clouds shaded over us, like it couldn't get any darker... I knealed down and stared at the shadows on the road, falling deeply lost into my own thought.

"Taro, do you think we'll even see the actual day again?"
-"What do you mean? The sun hasn't left us forever you know."
"Yeah, I know, but I mean... I miss the older days, back when we were still normal. Everything was still so peacefull, but not too peaceful like it is now."
-"Our lives have changed a lot, and so has the rest of the world. Maybe something will happen eventually."
"Yeah, I hope you're right. I haven't seen anyone else in so long. Do you think that maybe everyone was taken by the storm of the crash?"
-"Kenji... Don't say everyone died, not like that..."

:I came back to my senses and stood back up again, turning my attention towards Taro with a long and fatal look. I wanted our old world to come back to us, but I knew that my wish was never going to come true. It didn't matter what we could do.
We continued taking the last few steps down the rigid road when before we knew it, the sky has started to rain. We both looked up to the clouds. It hasn't rained in a long time, and we could no longer tell the difference between a rain cloud and a regular dark cloud that would come to cover our land in darkness. We couldn't believe ours eyes...

    "It's raining..."
    -"The rain..."

:I looked back over to Taro again, staring deeply into his eyes as he went into his formidable thought.

-"It's July... It wasn't supposed to rain like this. Not yet.."

:I could tell by the sound of his voice that something was horribly wrong.
Just moments after he said those words he fell to his knees with a sudden jump. His body began to jolt and spasm, right as it started he began to shout in pain, his body jolting as if he were having some kind of small seizure. I could hear his bones crunching as they popped together, his muscles became visible under his skin and it looked as if they were stretching as if he was starting to mutate. His voice slowly began to change, and his words were so frantic.

-"No! This can't be happening! Gahhrahhh! Not- not yet! No!! The pain! The pain!! Eh.. Ah! Ge-ah! Raahhhh!"

:At this point I could practically see his bones as if they were going to break and grow until they ripped straight through his muscles and skin to show his flesh from the inside out. I could hardly bare to watch. His shouting got more and more horrifying. It was as if satan was coming out of his bloody bathe himself. After a little more shouting and grave storming pops he slamming his fists into the ground. He started swearing and his face looked as if it were about to explode. Finally, his whole skeleton snapped all at once, and his body slowly went back to the way is was before. If only we could still call it "normal."
Taro's strength became faint as he stumbled flat on the ground. I hurried down to check on him. After a while, I helped him back up. He had a strong pause, and didn't bother to move for some time. He slowly began to stutter.

-"Ke- Kenji... Do- Do you remember- remember the time that we were on vacation last summer with m- mom and dad, and how you and mom tem- temporarily left to go pick up grandpa?"
    "What about it?"
-"Well... Do you remember when you and mom came back, the hotel we were staying at was swarmed with troopers and m- medical service?"
    "Yeah.."
    -"I- I was..."

:He turned his site the opposite direction of me, and looked down to the road.

    -"Never- mind..."

:I could only stare at him filled with grief. I knew that summer had been trully worse than it appeared.
We headed back to home in utter silence. Neither of us could come to say a word. When we got back home, the rain had stopped, and as we stepped up to the porch it appeared that a shadowly figure was just beyond the door. I slammed open the door, just to find that the shadow has vanished. Taro told me to let him go then started to walk over to his bed. The sun started to rise, and the dark clouds had flown away.
I couldn't quite explain what had happened that night, it was all so sudden that it flashed a wave of fear throughout my body. Never, since the day of our bodily transformation have I have been marked by fear before. I could only expect the worst to come.
