... the day my live had changed...

1989- When I was eight years old, my parents and I were coming out of a theater. We had just finished watching a Romeo and Juliet play. It was rather boring. Luckily, I had my Captain America action figure with me and played quietly as they enjoyed this piece of literature. The valet man was waiting for us outside with our car. We got inside and drove home. My father was the town doctor and my mother was a judge. Both hardworking and inspiring Americans. With a proud look on my face, I entered my big house. It was very clean and shiny inside; And it had a big fountain in the center of the driveway.
My dog, Balter, came running to receive me. He welcomed me with many licks.
"Silly dog" I would say. And he would just keep barking. I ran up stairs to my big room and Balter fallowed. Who would think that that night, my life would change? I locked myself in the room and played with my toys. I was having loads of fun while Balter took a nap on my bed. I was drawing calmly on the floor unaware of what was happening downstairs. When I finished, I didn't liked it. So I made a big paper ball and walked over to the trash can located next to my window. I threw the paper and noticed, outside, a shadow in the garden. I ran away from home very often so I simply opened my window and climbed down to find out what that shadow was. My garden had a tall beautiful grass that covered my legs completely. I walked over it and tripped. When I look up, I saw my house burning down. I could not believe my eyes. I opened my mouth to yell but some one covered it with his hand and pushed me down to the meadow. The person who was apprehending me squeezed me on the shoulder and I fainted.

I woke up in a hallow room. It was small but it had little furniture so it didn't feel so crowded. All it had was a bed, a small window, a door, a mirror, and a closet. All topped with a chair next to my bed. I felt weird and dizzy. I wanted my mother. And I wanted my father. I had no memory of what had happened. Of how I ended up in that room. Shortly afterward, a teenage girl came inside with some bread and milk in a tray. "I see you have awaken, child." She said in a sweet voice. I was confused but I ate what she had given me. She had silver hair and green, captivating eyes. She smiled as I ate.

"Where am I? What happened?" I asked.

"Are you alive, young child?" She asked.

"Well... um... yeah..." I answered confused at what she had asked me.

"Then you are in good care. No need to worry." That was enough to keep me quiet for the rest of the day.

Every day she would come into the room with food and clothes. She took me out to play in the garden sometimes. I still wondered where my parents went but I thought: "This is the greatest babysitter my parents had ever gotten me!". Little by little, I worried less about my parents whereabouts. I grew older and so did my feelings for the girl grew too. I had fallen in love with her. I was no longer the eight year old I used to be. I was more mature and could understand things better. I knew... something in my conscience told me that... that girl would change my life...

I woke up in the same room. On my bedside where a pair of new clothe and breakfast. I was fifteenth now. Long time has passed. It was a normal day... but later that night...

I was walking trough the garden lit by the stars and I found the girl was looking for me. I asked her what was wrong and out of nowhere, she bit me on the neck. Ouch did that hurt! I fell on the ground and convulsed. Shortly after, I fell asleep.

The next morning,I woke up with an intense and weirdly delicious smell emanating from far away . The scent was everywhere and I could here people murmuring all around me but no one was there. I covered my ears and ran out. I saw the girl in the hallway and fell on my knees at her sight. She knelled down in front of me and placed her hand on my forehead. It began to glow... My memories had been recovered. From the night at the theater to the house fire to the abduction. It all came back. Confused from what had happened, I ran away. I ran away from that place. The further I went the less intense were the sounds of murmurs.

Years have passed since then. I roam the world killing human victims for food. I've been thinking about everything... about her.

Currently, as I write this, I'm seating on top of the world...

    I'm going back home.
