• Sent From Above

An angel is summoned before the god Ra and is a little nervous. She walks down the wind chilled hall and comes to a huge open door. Suddenly, a loud voice tranquil, serene, and calming says, “Do not be afraid, Cy, I am sending you down to earth as a mortal. You will meet the Pharaoh Atemu and save him from the reptiles of the Nile River. You will prevent him from what he is to become.” After Ra said that Cy is falling, falling from everything she knew everything she was and everything she knows.
When Cy wakes up she feels the sun on her skin. Sitting up she sees the Nile River not too far off. Walking towards it she hears Atemu calling for help. Seeing the reptiles closing in on him, she takes out a blade and throws it, it cuts the tops of reptiles’ jaws off. Atemu seeing her save him walks out of the water unharmed. “Who are you?” asks Atemu seeing if her name is familiar to him though he highly doubts it.
“I am Cy.” she says catching the blade.
“I am Atemu the Pharaoh.” he says looking at her, “Hand me my clothes.” he commands her. Cy does so without question or complaint. He gets dressed then says, “Come with me.” She follows him without complaint and without speaking. “I am taking you to my palace, you will live with me. You will make a perfect wife.” says Atemu while walking with her, she still doesn’t say anything not even when they arrive at his palace.
“Why don’t you talk?” asks Atemu opening the door.
“I don’t really speak unless spoken to or asked a question.” Cy says a little shyly.
“Well,” says Atemu leading her to his room, then says, “I will have a wedding dress made for you.”
“Oh.” says Cy still shy. Atemu stops at a door and opens it to reveal a huge room with a giant bed, several pillows on it, three chairs and a desk. “Impressive?”
“I’ve never seen such a huge room.” says Cy staring at the bedroom.
“Come on says Atemu walking into the room with Cy trailing behind him. Atemu calls for a servant who appears promptly and Atemu tells them to take Cy’s measurements and make a wedding dress.
Once the Servant leaves with her measurements Atemu touches her hand making her blush. She has long curly blonde hair and a purple eye and a yellow eye; different from your usual same eye color, she has porcelain skin without the slightest imperfection.

    A Few Weeks Later

Cy is so nervous about marrying Atemu that she is worrying about everything else is going to turn out instead of how she looks. She is speaking with a servant and asks the time. “It is almost five. Smile it’s your wedding day.” says the servant Niya who is a really good friends with Cy.
“Yea I know… I know.” says Cy sounding depressed.
“Cy what’s wrong?” asks Niya concerned for her friend.
    “I just… I don’t know .” says Cy still nervous.
“It’s ok Cy. Everyone gets nervous on their wedding day.”
    “Yea”
“Well, it’s five, you should be walking down that isle.” says Niya then puts the veil over Cys head “Let’s go.” says Niya excited for her friend.
After the wedding, Cy is speaking excitedly with Niya and showing the ring on her finger, when Atemu walks up, “Hey, Cy do you want a drink?”
“Oh no thanks, I don’ t drink alcohol.” says Cy politely.
“Fine,” says Atemu then adds, “You don’t know what you are missing out on. Come meet me in my room once you have finished talking with the servants.” And with that Atemu walks away.
“Ooh he wants to get it on with you.” says Niya laughing with Cy.
“No he does not!” exclaims Cy laughing, “I’m certain he just wants to talk.”
“That too.” laughs Niya then says, “Well I need to get some rest I’m exhausted.”
“Know what? Take the day off tomorrow.” says Cy generously.
“Kay. Thank you. I’ll see you later then.” says Niya walking to her room.
When Cy meets Atemu in his room, she sees him sitting at his desk drinking the wine. “I’m here Atemu.”
“Good ‘cause I’ve needed a release.” says Atemu getting up and walking over to her and kissing her.
Two hours later Cy is sleeping and Atemu is tracing the feathery wing markings on her back. “She was sent from above to me.”
