• The bell rang for our hour and a half lunch break outside. I grabbed my books off my desk. Then, ran, outside the classroom, to the lockers. After I finally fit my books into my locker, I slamed it shut, and ran down the empty hall to catch up with my friends.
"Wait!" a person yelled behind me. I ignored the sound and went on.
I heard rough footsteps coming from behind. Is someone following me? I asked myself. I glanced over my shoulder.
It was Jessie, a boy I've been resently crushing on, running after me. But, we've never affically met, so, why would he be chasing me?
"Hey!" he yelled at me. His rough voice echoed through the halls. Suddenly, he grabbed my hand, pulling me to a stop, trying to get my attention.
I was paralized by his touch. I fell to the ground.
I couldn't remember much after that, except when I woke up in the medical clinic bed.
I heard a crowd of people around me, and a soft voice noticed more than the others, Jessie's voice. My eyes searched around the group of students, trying to find him
I heard him speak up amoung the crowd.
"Elisabeth, are you all right?" he said as he stood there, not moving.
I couldn't read his emotions. His face was so.... blank.
    "What happened?" I murmured.
    "Are you okay?" he repeated.
"I think so," I said trying to sit up in my bed.
The students around me were staring at the various bruses and scars on my arms and shoulders.
How'd I get those? I asked myself, staring along with crowd.
"Sorry," Jessie whispered under his breath, mysteriously. Then, he left.

A few hours later I was fine. Confused, but fine. I kept looking for Jessie, demanding some answers. But, I never found him.
