• On the hunt, their preys scent stronger than before like raw meat left out for the dogs. Saga perked his ears listening to the sounds around him and to his own heartbeat in his head.

This was his first time on this type of hunt and he was a bit afraid, he would look back at Aric time and again to make sure she was still with him. Since she was an elder, she was more powerful than he and was able to withstand silver unlike him.

A shout from across the street drew their attention and the smell of vampires.

"Why are there vampires here?" Saga asked in a low whisper.

"The vampires don't know we're around just yet, we'll leave them be for now." Aric said checking the streets using her sword to look at the reflections before running across to the other side.

"A war between them and us... that would be neat, but what about the humans, or centaur, or zombies or..."

"I get the point Saga." Aric said as he reached her side. "We're close now."

Another damp alley and then underground, the floor was slick with slime and water nearly causing the two to slide. Soon they reached the ground level, it was partly filled with water, all the way to their upper thigh.

"Gross, what's next zombies?" Saga joked just as the water rippled more and more.

"You and your joking mood." Aric said as zombies being to rise from the water.

    "My bad..."

    Zombies awaken.... the hunt continues...
