Chapter 5 ~Twist of Fate~
I woke up at six in the morning and still my roomate had yet to show up. It made me feel a little better to be alone than with an Imperialist student. While taking a shower, I wondered how Tsunade was doing with her roomate, Crystal. That woman was cynical in the mind, I mean I didn't even want to enter in while someone was taking a shower. The stranger part was, she knew how to do a few techniques from the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Most women that I knew didn't even know how to fight with fists. Slaps were the most common form of fighting between two women. I shook the interrogating thoughts from my mind and got out of the shower. The status of me in this school is quite uncertain. All of the kids have diversed opinions about me, but not one of them believe that I come from a rebellion. I just hoped that rumor wouldn't start out like that and the staff heard about it. Some of the kids were bullies, but there were a lot of people who just did what they wanted. There were a lot of rooms held with in this school and I could get a mahor headache just thinking about it too much. Classes didn't start for another two hours, but I wake up early enough to get my morning routine done with. I had gotten changed in to my school uniform around seven with two hours left to screw around. Instead of going outside of this room and converse with the other students, I turned on the television that this room had in it. Cartoons annoyed me at this age, so I like to watch the news. Quickly, I turned to channel three which was talking about the death of a family of four. "Seen this incident too many times." I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes. After ten minutes, a special report came on about the police and a suspect of Terrorism. I turned it up with anxiety and listened to it with eager ears. The news reporter, Chet, began explaining the police chase on the mysterious masked hoodlum. "In the beginning, police believed this strange masked man to be some small criminal, but now we have come to believe this man to be highly dangerous. He calls himself X, which was the same name that Xavior Skar had taken up during his making of this empire. Police say that this man doesn't intend on making an empire, but destroying one. Emperor Shadows announced the same statement with an addition proclaiming that X is nothing but an insignificant termite from the ghettos. At this time, the ghettos have been blockaded for our protection. Back to you Dianne." I turned off the television in disbelief. In one day, X had become known as a dangerous criminal. What a great time to visit Munich! The only reason I couldn't believe that this was happening is because Tim had started out the same way just not in this violent outcry. No matter how much I wanted to believe that this was Tim, I couldn't because X was a man who harmed the innocent. I had no idea if I respected the man or if I hated his guts for harming the innocent. One other problem has risen in Munich and it was that we were in danger of being hurt. I went to my first class, after shaking the strange thoughts from my head. Tsunade was there this time around, but so was the hot-headed, Crystal. They were talking to each other before class started and it didn't look good for my side. I decided to pay moe attention to the history teacher than those two. He wasn't as strict as the other teachers in this academy, but not too light either. His voice was almost as deep as an abyss. "Turn to page 438. Today, we talk about the matters afoot today. Who here has been watching the news these past two days?" He asked. I raised my hand slowly in the air since no one else was. "Yes, Mr. Sawyer." He said while pointing his chalk towards me. I nodded and began to speak," Thank you, Mr. Hatchet. A mysterious figure, called X has been commiting different crimes with in the short time he has had. He saved a few terrorists from certain execution, if I am correct." I looked around to see if that was a correct answer. Mr. Hatchet nodded slowly from concern. "That is correct. A few stores were also robbed today by unknown criminals, but it is suspected to be from X. Why do I mention this?" He asked and by looking through the classroom, everyone seemed to be listening intently. Some new gossip has gotten these kids off of their slumped moods. I didn't raise my hand this time, but watched the professor in a curious mood. Crystal was looking more curious than me, but I guess it is just my eyesight. A student in the far corner raised his hand, he had a strange suit with a dark crimson color. "You probably mention this, because he is a danger to the community. X is a terrorist, but is not as destructive as most. Some would say that he is a savior of the old country." The student answered with enthusiasm. My eyes narrowed toward him with curiousity and suspense. Something wasn't right about the way he answered. My mind came to the conclusion that he doesn't find any threat at the moment. Also, the young man was doing something behind his back. Mr. Hatchet on the other hand nodded with more of nervous way. A minute of awkward silence passed over the room. A chill ran through my back with all of the suspense in here. Not one person would move from their seats, until a figure from behind the screen used for the projector came out from behind. The figure had a silencer in his hands and had it pointed to Mr. Hatchet who was now holding his hands over his head. The one thing noticeable about the mysterious man's appearance was the mask covering it all. It was just a pitch black oval with gold trimming on the outer edge of the tinted glass. The next thing I noticed was that the figure was wearing a cloak around his body. Some would say that this figure was from the royalty of the E.P. Each step he took sounded throughout the entire room since the room was full of silence. Fear took over the figure of each student. Tsunade was even a little edgey about this figure. Crystal on the other hand was nervous about each and every move that this mysterious visitor took. The next move was in action by the masked man. "Hello students. My name is professor X. I am the world renown history teacher." A deep and dark voice said as he moved to the teacher's podium. He took a hard grip on the oak wood and watched us intently. He continued," It has come to my attention that the student body lacks true knowledge of the world." He said in a firm voice. In his right palm was a globe that was marked with over a dozen of pitch black x's. "The world is not filled with happiness and friendship. Actually, this world is full of deceit and betrayal. One moment your on the top and the next you are lying in the streets wishing for death. Did anyone here know that the ghettos exist?" X asked curiously and no one answered back for a long amount of time. Crystal was the first to raise her hand and then it was me and Tsunade. Next, the guy with the crimson outfit raised his hand. His face was with a more serious fix to it, but a smirk drew across his face after a few seconds. After a few more minutes, the whole class had their hands up with a nervous shake. The odd looking professor had raised his right hand in the air, then lowered it confirming that he had taken a poll of who knew. Afterwards he continued with his speech," Of course. This class knew about that, but have you ever known how the people in the ghettos have felt? Or maybe the camp prisoners over by the old U.S. of A? Like most teachers I have learned to teach my students with examples. Here is a vivid one to know."
