Yay! I got my phasing sigil today. It’s a black one with silver prongs and a big round amethyst stone on the end. It set me back finacially a little bit. There were less expensive ones, but I just had to slurge on this one because it looks so cool. Naturally, I had to try it out, and since it is such a nice day today, I took it out to the commons. I found a nice shaded spot under a tree and out of the way. I had with me a small block of metamorphic rock, which is available at the Student Store.

Time to try some gaia sculpting. Now, I had done this many times with my dad, so I was reasonably confident that I could get it to work. Touching the sigil to the stone block, I tried to concentrate on what I wanted to do. I chose something simple for my first effort. I just wanted to stretch the rock out into a taller shape. It was harder than I expected to summon the right energy. This was the part that my dad usually helped me with. Of course, he was not here, so I had to buckle down and get it done myself. It took a lot of work, but I finally had the rock about eight inches taller than it had been to start.

Feeling quite pleased with myself, I wanted to embellish the miniature tower (that’s what I had decided it was) and make some windows and a roof. I was just beginning to make a little progress when guess who walks by. It was that awful Mr. Horitt from class. I hoped he wouldn’t see me, but he did. He didn’t say anything; he just gave me a look. It was such a cold sensation that I lost track of what I was doing. The tower suddenly cracked in two, and Horrible Horitt stared at me as if in disgust. Errrg! He’s such a jerk. I know I shouldn’t say such things, but he is.

Later, I managed to mend the tower back together. It almost looks the way it did before. There is just a tiny line where the pieces are fused. So, there, Mr. Horitt!
