Chapter 2: My Three Sisters


National geographic was on and I didn’t want to miss any part of it. “White polar bears live in the arctic to keep there fur warm,” said the man on the TV. I never knew that polar bears lived in the arctic! My mind was so fascinated by this theory that I didn’t notice debb (my third evil sister) enter the room. “Lucas! Were the heck is my CD player?” I looked up and motioned towards the door. “Like I know, you over weighted cow” I had no time for her because my show was on. “Look just get out my room” I turned back to the TV. “Call me names will you!” debb shouted. I tried to ignore her, but soon felt myself being lifted into the air, and slammed against the wall. “Let go of me!” I kicked as hard as I could but missed. “Your gonna tell me were you hid my CD player, or ill take your crappy football cards and throw them out the window. She even made an evil grin to make sure I’d believe her. “What’s going on?” irena is standing in the doorway holding an apple in one hand and debbs CD player in the other. She gave a puzzled look at debb and then at me. “Why you little punk!” debb dropped me to the floor and glided out the door after irena. “Give me back my CD player or ill” I didn’t hear the rest of what she said, because I slammed the door and locked it. My sisters are such monsters, not people. I would ask my dad all the time, “dad, why am I the only boy in this house?” “Well son!” he would chuckle and say.” “You gotta learn to treat them like boys” I don’t know where his mind was when he said that, probably drunk. I watched the rest of the show and became thirsty. Unlocking the door, I made my way downstairs to find debb watching TV, irena tide with rope to the floor kicking and trying to free herself, and Rachel on the computer. “Where’s dad?” I asked. “He’s still at work, now move out of the way before your ugliness breaks the TV,” shouted debb. I walked over to irena still kicking away on the floor, shook my head and walked over to Rachel. “Are you talking to that guy Matt again?” I asked. “Yea!” Rachel made a blushing grin. “He’s my loving mango across the sea” “ mango!” debb broke out into a huge laugh. “So you like to talk to fruit online?” “Shut up!” Rachel cried as she threw a pen at debb. “You crazy punk!” screeched debb as she launched from the chair towards ray. In minutes they were rolling on the floor at each other’s throats. Irena managed to break free and joined the fight while screaming. I rolled my eyes, turned and went back up stairs to watch more TV. My sisters fight like gooses especially debb. When she fights, she swings her hands as if horse flies are on her, like how lame is that. Footsteps rushing up the stairs break my thinking I rush towards the lock. “Lucas!” you open this door right now!” came Rachel’s voice as she started banging on the door. “What do you want?” I ask while backing towards the window. “Your gonna pay for these bruises debb put on me” Rachel was now kicking and shaking the door. I pulled the latch on the window and crawled onto the roof. “Lucas!” Rachel was now trying to break the door down. I jumped off the roof and landed in a thicket patch of grass on the side of the house. My room door burst open. You could here Rachel breathing hard and knocking over things. “Lucas!” where are you, stupid head? She knocked something else down before noticing the open window. “Ah!” Rachel sticks here head out and catches me running. “Oh I’m so coming for you Lucas!” she screamed out. I’m halfway down the road when I spot ray behind me gliding at full speed. “Why won’t she just give up?” I say to myself. Suddenly, Rachel stops in her tracks. “Fine!” she held on to a street light, trying to catch her breath. “Ill just lock the door and you can stay outside!” Rachel turned and walked slowly back home. Gosh I hate all my sisters.
