Nimia

Nicknames: N/A Race: Water Gender: Female Parents: Koril & Sol Siblings: Fiadah Physical Description: Small and delicate D&D Class Equivalent: Transmutation Wizard
Personality: Nimia prefers her books over adventures and scary things. While not entirely a shy girl, she very much likes being pampered and has a softer nature.
History Nimia and her younger half sister, Fiadah, were adopted by their fathers as infants. Their birth mother tried her best with Nimia even though she was young and alone, but when she became pregnant for a second time she knew she couldn’t give the children the care they needed. She decided to give them up in the hopes of a better life and that was what ultimately led the girls into the care of their new family.
Sometimes Nimia wonders about the woman who left them behind but for the most part she doesn’t worry about it. She loves her fathers and wouldn’t wish for anything else.

Class Choice - Scholar
Nimia closed the tome on her lap with a satisfied exhale. The sun was just starting to peek over the horizon and once again she’d stayed up through the night to study. Ever since she was little, she’d had a fondness for magic, but not in the same ways her baba did. Without his sight there were limitations to what forms Sol could study, though he did his best to teach her what he knew. From the moment she’d first shown interest, her fathers had done their best to make sure she had what she needed to learn and when the time came she started spending time with a tutor in the city.
For a while she’d had to go away during the week. The journey was just too far for daily travel and so she helped with chores at Ms. Uula’s home in exchange for her lessons and boarding. Being away for that long was terrifying at first, especially since she was without Fiadah for the first time in her life, but now there was an excitement to it. Ms. Uula had connections that taught Nimia a variety of spells and opened a network into research that she never would have had before. It was as breathtaking as it was daunting to see the libraries up close, but she didn’t think she could be happier.
Now whenever Nimia came home it may have been with a lot of studying, but there was also a semblance of pride. Her skills had grown so much and being able to share that with her family made her path in life all the clearer. She would never be as strong as Fiadah, as adventurous as Ana, or as charming as Zota, but she could be smart. There were other ways to help strengthen her family and if she could do so while getting to spend her life with her nose in a book then all the better.
