Koril felt the tension ripple through him as their intentions came to air to the girls. It was difficult to stop himself from watching them too intently; he didn't want to intimidate them with pressure! He forced himself to breathe, surprisingly nervous about the moment. "We don't have any details to give you right now. This is a big decision, and we wanted you two to have a say before we start the process." He couldn't help giggling at Fiadah's initial reaction. "Yeah. You'd get to do a lot of big sister things for them like Nimia does for you."

Nimia ll 5
This was...a lot to take in. Nimia's eyes widened behind her glasses as she looked at first her fathers and then to her sister. She hadn't seen Fiadah this quiet in so long that it was unnerving, much like the anxiousness coming from her Papa. Baba though...he seemed so sure of it. So, shouldn't she be?
"You want...more?" After a pause, Nimia really looked at her parents. "I thought that maybe...since there never were more that maybe we were...a little much." It hadn't cropped up often, but there had been times when Nimia wondered if maybe having children that weren't their own got to them. Or if the strain of raising kids had just been more than they wanted. They'd both come from such big families after all and theirs was just...small.

Sol ll 5"Yeah, you'd be big sis too." It was such a strange concept, even to Sol. Fiadah had always been the youngest, if only by a year, that the thought of her losing that spot to another was mind boggling. "And you'll be great at it." Maybe the newest addition - or additions - would take after her and cause Nimia to stress out more? Or maybe they would take after their eldest sister? Who was now giving Sol cause to stress. He couldn't see her face, but the emotion in her voice caused his heart to clench. "Nimia, love, if I could have a thousand of you I would."

Fiadah's hands clenched and came up under her chin as the excitement rapidly began to bubble up inside her. She could be a big sister? Their family could grow? More siblings? More love!
Her sister's words made her pause... but the assurance pushed the lid off of her emotions and she let out a squeal of delight. "Can we go get them now?!" she asked while bouncing in place.

Koril's heart was swelling with pride while also being squeezed with emotion. Sol's sweet reply to Nimia made him chuckle lightly. He had imagined having his own family before, but not one of his old ruminations came even close to the reality that he found himself in right now. "Having you two join us was one of the best decisions your baba and I ever made. I suppose we wanted to enjoy what you brought us for a while before we added more." He cocked a brow at Fiadah when her fists came up, seeing her begin to tremble. He couldn't tell if she was excited or upset.... and then her eager question made him laugh with relief. "It's not that simple, darling. That's why we might be here a while; but, we can get things started today."

"Calm down, Fiadah," Nimia couldn't laughing a little, even if it was tinged in anxiety. "You're making the whole platform shake." Could she do this again? What would it be like, to have three little siblings to look after? Well, you've had enough experience with your cousins. They'd grown up close enough to Aunt Kyril and Uncle Jhin that Nimia's skills in management had grown, but still...
Don't be so nervous; just be happy. And she was, she really was.
"Can we go with you? Or is it just something you two need to do?"

Sol ll 6"I don't see why not, but it might be boring. I imagine getting started will be a lot of discussions and paperwork." If the process in Jauhar was anything like it had been in Matori then it may take a few days just to get the logistical side of things in order, let alone the selection process. Of course he was hoping with their connections here it might go along a little faster, but Sol didn't want to say as much aloud. Best not to get the girls hopes up.

Fiadah looked at Nimia with a bashful smile and reached out to take her hand. "Sorry." She'd freaked her sister out enough as it was. Maybe she could calm down a little. Maybe. After all, she had to look at their fathers and pout a little. "Boring? But how could it be boring? You're getting another kid. Or are you gonna get two, like me an' Nimia?"

Koril chuckled and shook his head. "You see, they don't want just anyone to take these kids home. They have to know that whoever takes them will actually take care of them and love them with all their hearts. They like to be thorough when they look into possible parents." Some places were more "thorough" than others depending on their biases, but he couldn't help thinking as well that things might go a little smoother this time around. He stepped toward the girls and ran his hands over each of their heads. It was such a relief to know they were excited about this. "Like I said, we don't have the details yet.. but whoever join us is going to get so much love from all of us. Right?"

It was hard not to compare their previous adoption process to this one. The fact that they were hybrids, from out of country no less, had hindered them and Sol's lack of sight only made the wait longer. With any luck Eema would be able to help, but he'd be lying if he wasn't nervous.
"You might have one new sibling, or you might get three. It's too early to tell." He knew they were just as open to adopting siblings now as they had ever been, but there was no real way for them to tell exactly what would come up until it did. Of course they could refuse, but he already knew they wouldn't. Neither he nor Koril had the heart to turn away children looking for love.

Nimia ll 7When her sister took her hand she squeezed it in turn. It was hard to remind herself that sometimes the scariest things had the greatest reward. And when her Papa put a hand on her head she looked up at him. In that moment she may as well have been a little foundling herself, looking up at him for the first time, and she smiled as much then as she had that day. "Of course they will; they'll never want for love."She reached a hand over to grab her Baba's too and in that moment she was connected to everyone in her little family.

An impatient whine slipped from her lips. As much as it made sense, surely this would be an easy choice for them! The adoption people wouldn't have to do any sort of investigating in her mind. Her dads were perfect for taking another baby home, and she and Nimia would be the best sisters! Sol's comment had Fiadah's jaw drop. Three?! Gosh! "We're gonna have ta get a bigger house!" she squeaked out.

In that moment, Koril was able to forget any concerns he had about the process they were about to leap into. It felt like his family could accomplish anything, and he was so damned proud of them all. This trip was about to turn into something so much bigger than they had intended when they had come out, but it seemed they were all ready to take such a step. Wherever the road would lead them, he was confident knowing that the four of them would be starting it out together.
