Homeworld Past and Present

Caliban is a moon of Uranus that has been in darkness ever since the last Senshi of the Homeworld, and main protector, fell during battle. Not much of it is known outside of the giant cathedral in the middle of the settlement that one first sees when they are taken to the planet. While ancient, the entire city looks new if not a bit destroyed due to the citizens continually having to rebuild every few years. Nothing outside of it has been explored and if one were to look at a few of the books that supposedly detailed past events, they would see that there most likely IS nothing left, many years before life was wiped out in the universe.

The reason is sealed within a statue in the middle of the courtyard of the cathedral. A giant monster had come one day from somewhere beyond and destroyed everything in it's path. The denizens of the Homeworld were continually threatened by the monster and only just kept it at bay by sealing it within the statue again and again. It was only one day, when the young-adult Senshi, the head priest on their world for less than a day, with the help of the other priests, managed to seal the monster inside of the statue. As soon as the monster was sealed, the moon has not seen sunlight ever since. And as a result of the battle, the young Senshi died a few hours later.

When they weren't dealing with keeping a giant monster at bay, the moon was known for sealing and unsealing things for other planets. Whether it was for safe-keeping or otherwise, they used their powers so that evil wouldn't be able to get to it as easily and were useful in hiding something within another object.

It's safe to say, that the reincarnated Senshi Caliban really does not like being here. Every time he has visited his Homeworld he has gotten a horrible feeling in his entire body telling him to run away, most likely sensing the monster and his soul remembering the last encounter with it even though he himself does not. And every time he has visited the seal on the statue has grown weaker.

Caliban has not visited since he became an Eternal. He knew that once he did, the seal would be fully broken and there was no way he would be able to take the monster out on his own. And he was not going to let it stay alive this time. Because of this he knows he needs help. As much as possible.

And so he has called out to all Order Senshi and Knights asking for assistance in finally destroying the creature.

Le Battle

The dice mechanics are like most of the other ones.

1st stages (Cats, Basics, Pages): roll 1d6
2nd stages (Human stage Mauvians, Supers, Squires): roll 1d8
3rd stages (Senshi Mauvians, Eternals, Knights): roll 1d10

Anyone can use their magic, but some magic may not be useful in attacking the creature.

If your character uses damaging or stun (or crowd control as some video games put it) attacks then follow these damage enhancements:

1st stages: +3
2nd stages: +5
3rd stages: +7

If your character uses a buff magic (attack or defense, for the latter please just subtract any damage you may receive with what you roll) then anyone who receives it may roll for their stage again! So in essence that would be:

1st stages: roll 2d6
2nd stages: roll 2d8
3rd stages: roll 2d10
*as a note, the second die will be for the enhancement part, while the first is what your character would have done without the buff (so if they roll for defense and you get 5 and 3, it would be +5 attack and -3 to any damage you received).

And any other magic that doesn't fall under these, go ahead and quote me and I'll have the monster react to it in some way!
