Personality: Luleta likes being in charge and showing that she can accomplish whatever she decides is important enough to focus on, which can occasionally seem overbearing and pushy. On the other hand, she is very optimistic about the life around her and has the resilience to drive herself through whatever challenge she faces.

Nothing was more important than the honor and pride of her family. The direct relations of her mothers and sister, her aunts and cousins, and then the extended family of the community of sisters and cousins. All of it was important to uphold, protect, and defend. It was the Aishan way. It was Luleta’s way.
Perhaps she wasn’t as rigid as some of the older Elarians would have liked, but no one could deny her devotion and determination. With mothers like Pruu and Akeldama, Luleta was destined to be a hard worker. They had taught her well; all about loyalty and love and pride. She certainly knew she wasn’t perfect, at least not by those old Aishan standards, but she still took her role in the community seriously.
The world was changing from the ways of those who had “settled” on Yael in the first place. Exiles who were bitter and angry and hateful… There were ways to bring honor to one’s family without stooping to bringing down everyone else around them. What value was there in reaching someone else’s level by bringing them down to below yours? That did nothing to elevate your own status by anything other than surface appearances. You were still right where you had started. Pushing yourself to rise above the others? That was where honor reigned.
Luleta had given a lot of consideration to her future. She wanted to help guide her community through the changes going on in the world. If her own Mata could change for the better and come to at least tolerate the shifting tides, then so could anyone! Luleta was so proud of her family, and she wanted to continue upholding the high standard that made the Aishans proud and strong.
If anything happened to disrupt that progress, she wanted to be ready to fight for it. Whether that meant using the strength of her mind or the strength of her fists, she wanted to be capable of doing what needed to be done.
