Personality Overview :
Marble is a large boned pup. His only desire in life is to feel as though he belongs. He loves socializing, he loves his family and he's quite welcoming to strangers now that he has a pack to support him. Given time, one will find that he's very caring, gentle and actually more on the submissive side.
History :
Marble was part of his family pack for the first couple years of his life. Unfortunately, when the alphas of the pack lost their lives to a younger pair of wolves, the younger, rowdier offspring were chased out of the pack (the new pair didn't want any threats to their leadership). Although he tried to stay with a few of his siblings, the group split up and Marble was left as a lone wolf.
After a year alone, Marble's met Sand Breeze, a rather unstable female. They had pups together but she went on a rampage and tried to attack their pups. Marble took them away and raised them. As they grew up, they left one by one until only Tiger Eye remained. The two of them became wanderers and they chanced upon a lone wolf named Polar Sun. Cunning, strong and fierce, it wasn't long before Marble realized that he belonged with her. They've been mated ever since and belong to the Hornfels Hollow pack. Marble now flourishes in the group scenario being surrounded by family.

Personality Overview :
Permafrost is a gentle giant. Shy and somewhat reclusive she doesn't know the social norms associated with wolves. Her closest friend is her snake: Taigafrost, whom she grew up with and cares about deeply. Since she's so socially awkward, usually she just keeps quiet, stands to the side and watches. When she speaks she sounds motherly, which she plays up in order to avoid attention. She's very submissive and if there is an ounce of dominance in any of the nearby wolves she will immediately defer to them.
History :
Permafrost was born in the mountains where she lived with her family's pack. Eventually the pack expanded too much, killing off the food supply. The Alpha's chased off the older youngsters in order to continue feeding the newest pups. Permafrost left the mountains and for a long time she never met another wolf. In order to fend off loneliness she made friends with a Magic Potion ball python who she named Taigafrost. Taigafrost has lived with her since and she is usually wrapped around Permafrost's foot or held in Permafrost's mouth. She's a slightly sarcastic and negative snake, but Permafrost enjoys her company.
The two of them eventually stumbled across a trio of wolves who let them join the group, until an unfortunate encounter with a grizzly split Permafrost up from the little pack. A month later Permafrost realized she was pregnant and she gave birth to two little pups whom she cared for until grown. At that point both her offspring decided to venture off, leaving Permafrost a lone wolf once again.
During one particularly harsh winter Permafrost was struggling to hunt and was slowly starving to death. That's until a large male named Frost Shatter came across her and together they began taking down larger prey. Although he suggested just staying the winter together, it wasn't long before their relationship flourished and they decided to become mates permanently. His possessiveness and strength is her support.
Several months later they came across Permafrost's daughter Polar Sun with her mate/daughter and after a brief skirmish Frost Shatter subdued the female and claimed the alpha position in their small pack.

Personality Overview :
Marble's daughter from his first mating. She was there when her mother went crazy and tried to attack Marble and the pups. This had a big impact on the first few years of her life, and made her quite fearful. Too fearful to leave Marble when the rest of her siblings did. As she grew, she became more confident and realized that things happen in life that you can't predict. Now she's confident and happy, though not always the smartest of wolves. Her confidence translates into a very laid back demeanor and it takes a lot to get her wound up.
History :
Tiger Eye stayed with her father Marble when all of her siblings took their own paths in life. When Marble brought home his new mate Polar Sun, a rather dominant female, Tiger Eye wasn't perturbed. Laid back, she felt no rivalry with the other female and they became fast friends. Even when Frost Shatter, the alpha male, took over, Tiger Eye was okay with the change. Although part of the Hornfels Hollow pack, she occasionally wanders away on her own whims. During one of her trips she meets Bitter Frost and gets pregnant. Tiger Eye raises the pups along with Polar Sun and her litter.

History :
Daughter of Permafrost, she left her mother when she was quite young. Unlike her mother, she has a strong personality, full of wit and fire. She has the makings of an alpha, being both large in size and fierce in mind. When she meets Tiger Eye and Marble, she becomes attached to the family unit and joins them. She becomes Marble's mate for life, ruling the small group until her mother and her mother's new mate Frost Shatter show up.

Personality Overview :
Frost Shatter is naturally honourable, funny, and fair. He loves to see others laughing and having a good time. He is very family-oriented but also tries to help others as best as possible, allowing for some very lax rules in the pack. He goes out of his way to check-in on the wellbeing of his pack members daily, and makes decisions with the wellness of the whole pack in mind. He also adores pups and if there are any in the pack you can be sure he will be playing with them in his spare time. History :
Frost Shatter was born amongst the glaciers of the Bluestone Mountains. Born in a small cave, high up on the peaks, his siblings soon perished after birth, and his father never returned after going out on a hunting expedition. Only Frost Shatter and his mother remained. His mother, a strong, fearless wolf, provided for the two of them, and made Frost Shatter her priority. Teaching her son to hunt even amongst the harshest conditions, she was as unrelenting as the environment. Pushing Frost Shatter as hard as possible. He learned, and got stronger, until alone he could take down even larger prey. It was at this time when his mother drove him off, now well equipped to take on the world, he no longer needed her help. Frost Shatter headed down the mountain and came across Permafrost. After helping her survive the rest of the winter, he soon found himself alpha of the small pack.

Unlike her mother, Crystal Flurry stays as close to the pack as she can, rarely going out on her own. History :
Daughter of Tiger Eye and a father she has never met, Bitter Frost, she has spent her whole life with the pack. Her best friend growing up was Fell Field and she always used to be within eyesight of him, but once he became all doe-eyed for Evie, Flurry had to look elsewhere for companionship. Ice Wave has turned out to be the gentle support she needs and now she can be found at his side more often then not.

Glossy-eyed from hunger, the skinny female gladly accepted the hospitality offered by the small group. She stayed with them for a full turning of the seasons, showing the trio her prized companion Taigafrost. Cloudberry was fascinated by Permafrost and spent as much time as he could with the she-wolf, spending both days and nights with her.
Unfortunately the happiness could only last so long. A hungry grizzly attacked the group and although no one was harmed - Permafrost had been separated from the group. Cloudberry mourned the loss, and moped for months, much to the dismay of his mother and sister. The next summer Cloudberry left his family to go in search of Permafrost. When he found her with Hornfels Hollow he was overjoyed - until he found out she was mated to the alpha. He has decided to stick around for now to make sure the she-wolf is happy.

Abyss is a fairly stern, no-nonsense wolf with a strong sense of justice. He believes in equality and is willing to fight for his belief. History :
Born to a pack in the Redwoods, he barely made it to adulthood. His insistence that he was a male did not sit well with the other packmembers and the alpha, who considered him mentally weak. Especially since female wolves were little better than prey in the pack, with no social standings. Abyss fled, and despite being chased, managed to escape with only minor injuries. He never returned to that area of Kells and instead settled in Hornfels Hollow with Shade.

Wineberry is a small little wolf, that can't handle extreme emotions well. She's learned that the best way to cope is to muddle your feelings through the aid of fermented berries. Once she has done this, she is light-hearted, charismatic and happy. When she's not, she can be melancholy, listless and irritable. A sickness took her, and despite all of Wineberry's help, all she could do was stand by as her mother wasted away. Once her mother had passed, Wineberry fell into a deep melancholy, and couldn't find the will to do much of anything, even hunt. Steadily losing weight, finally Wineberry came across something that looked edible; little red berries that had fermented. It was only after she had eaten the berries that Wineberry felt her spirits lift, finally she had the will to move forward. So she began to wander, always with the intent to find her brother but mostly to keep herself occupied. She also made it her mission to test the potency of all berries she comes across and is generally always a little bit tipsy.
During her travels, Wineberry stumbled upon a couple of bears also feasting among the brambles. Deciding to strike up conversation, the she-wolf soon became fast friends with the "Berries". When it was time to part ways, Black decided nope, they would travel together for Wineberry's protection and that was that. Now the she-wolf has two bear companions.
During their first winter together Black and Red go to hibernate. Since there are no berries at this time, if Wine stayed near the bear den she had nothing to do but think...and that was something she didn't want to do. So whilst the bears were asleep, Wineberry decided to go adventuring. She traveled North, further into the Forest, and that's where she meets Moonshine. Moonshine is a rogue wolf, who travels throughout the forest and Bluestone Mountains. Although he is normally a very calm wolf, Moonshine is struck by "love at first sight" and can't help but be a fool as he tries to catch Wineberry's attention. Despite her insistence that she doesn't need his help or want him around, after weeks of his ceaseless persistence in gaining her affection, it slowly does draw him into her heart. She finally accepts Moonshine and for several weeks they are happy together. But doubts begin to creep their way into Wine's mind and one night she frantically leaves. She's convinced that it's better she left Moon before he either decided she wasn't worth it, or before illness took him too, and broke her fragile heart all over again. She continues her Northward trek, but it's not long before she discovers she's pregnant. Determined to get as far away from Moon as she can get, this discovery does not slow her down since, on her adventure, she had heard whispers of another land, one not in the clutches of winter...when Wineberry has almost made it to Stonehenge, she goes into labor. She has the pups nearby Stonehenge, and cares for them for the first few days. But still intrigued by the thought of escape, she goes to see Stonehenge. When she meets with Sariah and learns of Irithyll, she decides she wants to go there and leave Kells behind. But not her pups. She doesn't want to leave her pups behind. But she DOES want to see it. She asks Sariah to take her to Irithyll. It'll be quick, just a peak and then she'll return to the pups. She goes on the last day, and whelp...ends up staying longer than "Just a peak".
