[ORP- Fall] Searching (Darkness x TE x CF)

Darkness Comes Quickly was on the move he was still searching for a home, he could feel the land becoming colder and colder as his namesake made its appearance as the days grew shorter. He had decided to head into the mountains since it had once been the home of his family. He wasn't sure what drew him back to the mountains when the rest of his family had decided to take to other parts of Kells but it just did. So here he was, looking for something when he had no idea what he was looking for. He felt a little foolish but Darkness trusted his gut so he was going to look till he found what he was seeking. He just hoped he would find what he was looking for before winter fully set in.

Tiger Eye was, well, unhappy with her current predicament. She had hoped to escape patrol duty today, but noooo, here she was, traversing the snow laden landscape. Even the sun wasn't out today, rather the dull graying of clouds blanketed the sky and made the day seem all the more bitter. If Flurry hadn't decided to come with her mother, Tiger might have even been tempted to cut corners and not even do a full circuit of the pack borders. But alas, the beige wolf was keeping pace, not seeming the slightest bit disgruntled with the day's outlook.

Crystal Flurry was actually ecstatic to be out and about. Stretching her legs as she bounded through the little snow drifts. Despite the lack of sun, the surroundings appeared beautiful to the she-wolf, with trees glistening with their own little crystal flurries. This snowfall was early this year, perhaps a sign of what was to come once true winter set in. It was warm enough that Crystal was sure this little precursor would melt before the week's end. But still, it was fun for her while it lasted.

"Ahhh looks like we've made it!" Flurry declared as she slowed to a stop. They'd reached the furthest point of the Hornfel's territory. Immediately she began to scent the area, looking for any new wolf smells amidst the trees. The leaves had all fallen from the leaf bearing trees, and only those with needles seemed undisturbed (if somewhat blanketed) by the early snowfall. Small animal smells littered the area and the she-wolf snuffled back and forth, following them as they crisscrossed before her. She ignored her mother, who was watching her, seemingly amused despite her foul mood.

Darkness made his way through the snow-covered ground under the dark grey clouds he knew he needed to find a good place to spend the winter and he preferred to not spend the winter alone. He moved along walking along the border of a pack territory. He lifted his head to the air and took in the scents. He caught the scent of other wolves and decided to go in that direction. It wasn't long before he caught sight of the wolves. He considered calling out a greeting, but in the end, he went close enough for them to catch his scent and decide if they wanted to address him or ask him to leave. Darkness was not big on chatting or words if something could be said with only a few words or no words at all that was the way for him.
