Outside the ruined city of Hyperes, Asterion focuses primarily on the sciences, health, and Nightmare and Daydream culture. History, law, medicine, chemistry, and biology are some of the majors a Nightmare/Daydream may pursue when attending Asterion University.

The newest of the three universities, many of the buildings on Asterion's campus are less than 200 years old. Students attending this school may find the facilities to be more modern than those of their Leviathan and Grendel counterparts. The school for the most part is of demon construction, although there are some influences of other culture's styles, notably in the openness of the many common areas and some of the dorm facilities being below ground.
A coastal school, the campus enjoys breezes off the water during the summer, giving some relief to the humid conditions, and fairly mild winter weather, although it frequently storms throughout the year.
There are several coastal villages nearby that house not only university staff, but those working in the fishing industry as well as the construction crews working to restore parts of Hyperes.
While the school does have the benefit of being close to a large city, due to it's current state, students will still find it necessary to travel back to Asphodel once in awhile as there are still some facets of urban life that have not been restored to Hyperes.

Most students for their first years will live in the dorms scattered around campus. These facilities are modern, many hosting the latest generation of appliances, heating, cooling charms and enchantments, which can be a relief to those students sporting heavy fur due to the brutal summers.
After their first year, students who can afford to are allowed to move into more private residences, either houses or apartments, that may be available among the coastal towns and some, if they wish can even commute from Hyperes as there is some housing located there. Some may even be tapped to enter the various academic societies and may move into the buildings controlled by their group. For those who are unable to afford outside living arrangements or become unable to afford them, the dorms are always open to those students in need.
There are various societies located on campus that are controlled by the students but sponsored by one of the professors. Many of these societies are exclusive and only open to those of certain majors. In order to be accepted into one of these groups, students must maintain a certain GPA and be selected by a current member of the group.
Many of these groups will hold initiation for their new members and the tasks set will be varied and determined by the elder members of the society. Should an individual be accepted into the group they will then be allowed to move into residential buildings controlled by the society and be allowed to attend private functions. Many of these groups are considered a great way for individuals to make friends and connections that may help them later in life after they graduate.
List of Asterion Societies:
Regula Legis - Rule of Law, Law Regula Viri - Rule of Man, Anthropology Regula Aetas - Rule of Time, History Regula Mens - Rule of Mind, Psychology Regula Congregatio - Rule of Society, Sociology
Like at the academy, there are many clubs and organizations that are either controlled by the students or a professor on campus. Unlike the societies, these clubs are not exclusive to one's major or GPA ranking, and instead are more focused on an individual's personal interests outside of the classroom.
Some activities that may be randomly hosted on campus are various sporting events and tournaments for video, board or card games. These events generally require participants to sign up prior to the activity, although sometimes there will be allowances for walk-ins.
The campus will also sometimes host themed movie nights or other social events like dances that are open for any and all to enjoy.
For those students who wish to work and attend classes, there are several job opportunities on campus from the cafeteria to the bookstore to helping handle paperwork at the various offices around the site.
Some students may even be employed by professors as research assistants or interns. These jobs are highly desired as it gives students the chance to work in their field of study and fill up quickly when they become vacant.
For those seeking employment outside the campus, many of the fishing vessels and Hyperes construction crews will hire willing students during the summer, and those willing to work hard often make enough to support themselves all school year. There are also less strenuous jobs available in the various stores, eateries and professional buildings.

While these Nightmares/Daydreams do not teach, they help run the university smoothly. Some hold more power than others, but generally all students must obey all staff, no matter their job. Staff tend to keep themselves familiar with the other students. Some staff members double as professors.
This list is currently under construction and it should be, in-character, assumed there's many more staff members then seen on this list. If you believe you have a senior Nightmare/Daydream who would be good as a staff member, please post here.
These Nightmares/Daydreams teach the students, and should always be respected. Professors stay familiar with the students. Some professors double as staff members.
