The road hadn't been an easy one thus far for Roslyn. After taking time off her studies to be a mom, she just felt like she wasn't able to focus! Of course, it wasn't her fault, it was just because she was a Litch, right? Feeling down as she walked into the class, she contemplated quitting, a frown on her face in shame as she listened. But soon enough, she began to perk up! Maybe all she needed was to come to class more! Or...remember to do so. Scribbling a note on her hand, she was going to make sure she didn't miss next class at all! She had to complete her dream!

The test made her a little bit nervous, but she had stayed up all night studying...Despite the sleepy lag in her brain, Roslyn was fairly confident that she'd done pretty well. Handing in the finished test to the teacher, she headed home to get some well deserved rest.

The blood, surprisingly, didn't bother Roslyn at all. Maybe it was just part of her being oblivious at times, but all she really cared about was helping the patients. Maybe she really was cut out for this after all! Leaving class with her head held high, she was confident that she'd be a great nurse one day.

There weren't many differences in Vüsala's mind between tending to those patients on the list and helping to care for some of his relatives. Since that was what he aimed to do once he had learned more modern medicines, this pleased him. Surprisingly, there were quite a few nightmares with injuries that he was surprised to see, but he managed to help sooth them all. His day of training left him feeling satisfied with his progress. It would not be much longer before the chimera acquired an adequate education.

Michi watched with rapt attention as the surgery continued on. They took careful notes for each technique that was used by the doctors, they even made notes to themselves to look up terms and techniques to study later on. When the video of the surgery was finished, Michi collected their thoughts on what they felt about it. They knew that watching a surgery was always different from actually preforming one themselves but it was an interesting and important experience to have. Michi collected their notes, planning on transcribing them from short hand later, and quickly filled out the short quiz they were asked to complete and then turned it in to the professor.

Pawsa was too damn excited for her first night on rounds... even if it was just shadowing. There was so much you could learn just by watching. She was more of a doer, but she could still get so much out of this first shift! At least she was used to being up long hours. Her party skills were going to be put to work for the better!
As she had been hoping for something super exciting, like the emergency room or something, she ended up on a normal floor with very unexciting rounds. That just sucked all the interest right out of her for the first time doing something like this. Not only that, but she actually fell asleep in a patient's room. Boy, that did not go over well when she was found. All in all, it really ended up being a bad shift for the girl. "Dammit.. I gotta do this again? Ugh, Please let it be a more interesting place next time."nepsah i am far too amused that she borked her first one XD

"Alright!" she began as she tried to get herself psyched up for another shift doing only the gods knew what. Smacking her cheeks as her inner monologuing began and told her to stay on task, drink lots of coffee, and NOT to take a seat in patient's room, especially when it was dark. "Here's hoping it's better than last time..." She even resolved herself to try and find the fun in even a potentially boring shift. Hopefully her renewed strength and determination would help this time!
YES! This time had gone over perfectly! She was on top of her game and right there every step of the way for everything! Plus, she was pretty dang happy that there was a little more action in this shift. Hell! The doctor even had her assist in an emergency situation! "That felt soooo good!" she said as she flopped on one of the on-call beds. This felt like victory, and she was going to celebrate with a nap now, cause damn she was tired.

Petiole frowned as she loomed over her coffee cup, last night had been a failure, to say the least. The dryad knew that her grades might suffer a bit from her decision to embue a stone during that mixer, but to doze off during her shadowing? Let alone one that she had been so excited for that she had been studying for weeks prior? What was she, a freshling? She was so mortified; all she wanted to do was hide under her blankets for a week. The doctor ended up laughing and applauding her for deciding to continue to take classes while preparing for a child, but she felt like a disgrace. ‘Maybe next time,’ they said. It wasn’t anything to write home about, let alone something that Pet would even dare tell her to-be child. This was going to stay between her and the doctor, so help her. Next time, she’d succeed.nepsah She's going to be trying again |D
