Aylin was born as a member of a herd known as The Flock, a herd of harpies that lived tucked away in a mountain home. At a very young age it was discovered that she had been born with the gift of being able to communicate and deliver messages from the spirits that watched over the Flock.

After training and learning the duties of the oracle, Aylin became the oracle to the flock when the aging oracle passed on to the spirit realm. Standing beside her friend, and Queen, Aylin pledged her life to her sisters protection and well being.

Aylin serves as the Queen's oracle and confidant. While Aylin has been found by others outside of the flock, her main priority is to protect and serve her sisters.

The Flock has moved from their mountain home due to deteriorating conditions, but Aylin has stayed behind to protect their temple and appease the spirits. Her days are filled with listening to the voices as they come and go, and from time to time a soquili arrives that has been seeking her for her advice.

Aylin will provide her services to outsiders... For a price. Anyone who is not of The Flock must bring treasures of some sort to Aylin, a bribe, for her services. These treasures are eventually taken to her Queen for her to do as she wishes with them, though such things are rare and more often times things come from the new lands to the ancestral lands: She currently resides within the crumbling temple of the Harpy's homelands. The entrances and interior are decorated with bones, skulls, clothes, twigs, and some jewelry that has been given to the harpy for her services.

She's a fairly forward looking mare, as opposed to her more tradition focused best friend of the Queen, and often, in secret, tweaks the flock as the spirits move her toward the future, seeing it coming and hoping to make it a smooth, non-violent transition.

About
Born to Zahraa' and Cabiole Amachi and growing in the Flock, young Taarab is content with life, and eager to please, desiring little more then to be useful to the flock, and from a young age entertained himself by putting random items together as he thought, thinking of the knowledge passed onto him and mulling on it cheerfully.

Growing up, this develops into a full fledged drive for arts and crafts, and desires to build a guild within the men to make items for the flock: Tools, nest decorations, and accessories.

Taarab is the Favored Pet of Aylin the Oracle, so she has a say in whether or not a mare gets to borrow him -- Because of his usefulness both inside and outside of breedings, she'd rather he not be borrowed by a more aggressive mare, and wishes to use him to experiment with adapting to the changing world as she feels the spirits are leading them to.

Because of this, he is not going to be the favored pet of anyone but Aylin, and no one can claim more than one breeding slot with him if its agreed to by all parties. The Oracle gets first dibs at any given time.

His breedings are, obviously, only open to the mares of the flock. I prefer RP or at least Truly heavy plotting.

Have a Flock mare? Regardless of if she's a Harpy or not, you just gotta submit a plot idea and your girls personality, and if it's something Aylin and Taarab are comfortable with, you'd be allowed to use Taarab for a mockbreeding in a half-hippogryph/Hippogryph Mix (or if you get a mutant slot somehow a full Harpy/Harpy mix) flavor! While you'd need permission to use Zahraa' or Melody Forte for throwbacks, Cabriole, Mecho, and Fallo Amachi are usable automatically for throwbacks.

Risuleri x Taarab

Risuleri is a member of the Artisan guild and part of Vanya's 'posy' and friends, having grown up around the slightly older mare, and often shares her own boys, as well as partakes in Vanya's, enjoying he dignified grace and ease that comes with having a harem and the way it satisfies her need for attention and praise, feeling most comfortable cuddled in large groups rather than private nests. Because of this there are opportunities of Taarab to sire children with her. J

Just keep in mind they gotta stay in the flock (unless you come to me with an OMG HARD TO RESIST plot) and be RPed at least moderately.

Who knows what could happen 8V. Even if you have a mare that Joins the flock, gets admitted fully in, then goes traitor after sniping some genetics/changes her mind about being in the flock after getting pregnant and takes the kid(s) with her thus becoming an outsider once again and enemy of the flock, just remember that more people than just me are involved in the allowance of it and the plot has to be good... And the mare has to have been a member of the flock for long enough to be considered a full member.

HISTORY

PERSONALITY

Jaylin is a bit of a decorator, hanging around the artisan guild and helping others with their designs. However, sometimes they cannot help themselves and end up trying to include their own ideas to others works, and try to add them without asking. However, they mostly excel as a style consultant, helping others find what makes them look their best.
