PERSONALITY
Junko is a generally sweet and friendly ghoul, polite almost to a fault, though not without her little moments. While once she had been meek and timid, she is now a blossomed young lady who will socialize with any she meets and even welcome them into her home for lunch or a cup of tea! She's even able to make jokes now! No, seriously! She totally can! Junko is hilarious.
Why are you laughing? She hasn't done anything!

She is strong and determined, no longer a ghoul who backs down from something just because it is 'big, mean, and scary!!!' and instead taking it on with grace and poise. Well. Sometimes. She can still be rather clumsy, and it isn't uncommon to see her trip on her own hair when it wraps itself around her legs or ankles just for laughs.
Her relationship with The Mistress, her second mouth, has improved in vast amounts. While as a young ghoul The Mistress had nearly complete control of the pair of them, Junko has since strengthened her resolved to not follow in the shadow of her broken mother and instead be the ghoul she wants to be. The two still often bicker, and The Mistress will never stop berating and mocking her, criticizing everything she says and does and trying to make everything into a sexual innuendo that usually goes above naive Junko's head.
Except when it doesn't, and then things get awkward.
But The Mistress seems to hold a protective streak toward Junko. Nothing is allowed to hurt Junko but Her. She will snap at you verbally and physically, and She won't hesitate to assert her dominance by taking it out on Junko either. Just..try not to challenge Her.
Otherwise, Junko is a normal ghoul. Charitable, kind, and genuinely friendly. She loves to design and sew, having aspirations of opening up her own dress shop someday, and nearly everything she wears is made or at least altered by her. Junko also loves doing work around the home, cooking, cleaning, calling the repairman (or just a really handy friend, like Nahm, or Sammy, or Seiji. She's looking at you. Yes. You. Her sink is making weird noises, please come fix it.) to have things fixed because she really shouldn't be trusted with tools, normal things like that. She cherishes your company and wants to be your friend, but she isn't blindly loyal as she had once been. She sees you doing bad things. Those are bad things. So don't do bad things and you're okay in Junko's book.
No, you'll never be okay in The Mistress' book. Don't even try.
RACE Futakuchi-onna
mist•••► Literally meaning "two-mouthed woman", they are an all female species of monster. They are always female, there are no male Futakuchi-onna, no exceptions. They are characterized by a second mouth in the back of her head with an insatiable appetite that is able to speak, usually in a manner threatening toward its host, and their living hair. Despite its downfalls, a futakuchi-onna's most prized feature is their long hair. To cut their hair would be like cutting off a vital limb; while there is no physical damage done to her, the psychological and emotional harm it does can be potentially irreparable if the trauma isn't handled swiftly. A futakuchi-onna with short hair might as well just be dead or human.
mist•••► The bond between a futakuchi-onna and her second mouth varies from host to host; they always start hostile, adjusting to one another's presence from the moment of their birth, and with the second mouth demanding full control while the futakuchi-onna is still a small scareling and unable to actively challenge them. It is up to her in her later years to establish what kind of relationship she and the second mouth will have; for some it ends in disaster, with the second mouth taking full and total control and using her host as a puppet, but for others it does often end in a mutually beneficial partnership with either the futakuchi-onna taking the reigns or the two of them cooperating together.
mist•••► Human mythology says that a futakuchi-onna is made in several different ways: A starved miser's wife, a vengeful spirit of a child starved by their stepmother while the stepmother keeps care of her own children, and a head would dealt by a child or husband that never healed. In truth, a futakuchi-onna is always born with her second mouth, it has been several centuries since a futakuchi-onna was 'made', so many that it is all but a forgotten origin at all.
mist•••► It is often wondered how a Futakuchi-onna is able to support a head of hair that can reach infinite lengths of allowed. Her body is made for it; though it may not appear as such, a futakuchi-onna's neck, back, and shoulder muscles are strong enough to support great amounts of weight without showing any signs of strain. A responsible futakuchi-onna will take care of her body with massages and regular workouts of those specific muscles, but luckily it has been a long time since the last..hair weight-related death.
NATURAL ABILITY Living Hair
mist•••► Their second mouth controls their hair and is able to move it freely as they wish (For example, it can be used as 'hands' to grab and pick up things). The Futakuchi-onna is also able to control her hair, but this takes practice and concentration because of the interference of the second mouth's will, though it will occasionally react to the futakuchi-onna's emotions if they are strong enough. With enough control, a futakuchi-onna can use her hair for nearly anything she desires. It can also be used as a defense mechanism.
mist•••► Junko shares complete and total control of her hair with The Mistress. It is currently 20 feet in length from root to tip.
FEAR ATTACKS
mist•••► Year one: Headlights, The Mistress lets out an amplified scream that causes temporary disorientation and confusion.
mist•••► Year two: Battle Cry, the properties of Junko's hair alter themselves in a way that allows her to cut things..with her hair.

Sayuri, Momo, Kuro
These three live outside of the closet on a regular basis.
Sayuri and Kuro have been Junko's loyal pets since shortly before enrolling in Amityville Academy. Momo was a gift from Seiji.
Aoi + The Tangles Army
The rest of her minipets, from Aoi to her Tangles Army, come and go from the closet that she leaves open specifically for them.
(Her apartment is too small to accommodate everyone at the same time.)
