Likes: ●The ocean: It's where she's always been. Even after being attacked, she still can't stay away. She simply doesn't know anything else. ●Her crew: What good is the ocean without someone to share it with? Sure, her old crew may be gone, but she's getting along with this new one just fine! In fact, there may be a certain Dovaa she's pretty comfortable with... ●Wind: It ruffles her hair and clothes and blows in her face! It's annoying when it tangles her hair, but she wouldn't have it any other way. Dislikes: ●Dragons! It may border on hatred, but it's certainly not fear! No way! ●Fruit: Her Da always made her eat it so she wouldn't get sick. She hates the taste and texture, but forces herself to swallow it down now since it reminds Charlotte of her lost parents. Strengths: ●Friendly: She's chipper and sweet and thoughtful, and always tries to do her best to please those around her, even if she stretches herself thin in the process. ●Protective: Once Char claims a friend, it's stuck for life. She doesn't make the best guardian physically, but she will snap at anyone who tries to attack her friends. Weaknesses: ●Clingy: Charlotte becomes very easily attached to pretty much anyone she meets. Right now that's just the crew aboard her new vessel, but who knows what she'd do if she met a friendly land-lubber... ●Dependent: If she becomes too afraid or lonely, she'll latch on to the first friendly face she sees and never let go. She wants to be strong, but lacks the mentality to really do much on her own right now. Fears: ●Loneliness: Char absolutely despises being alone. She'd rather be with someone cold and cruel than with no one at all. That's not to say she can't ever be comfortable by herself. She just likes to know she has someone to turn to when she must. Quirks: ●Childish: As much as she wants to be treated like an adult (especially by her Dovaa friend), she just isn't. She's still a playful youngster who isn't entirely independent yet. ●Theif: The concept of 'personal belongings' has never really sunk in with her. Honestly, it doesn't bother most of her crew, since she's careful with anything she steals and doesn't mind when its taken back. Personality: Charlotte is a vibrant, cheery youngster. She plays well with others and generally shies away from confrontation. At least until someone unfamiliar attacks someone she cares about. She is small, and not an particularly offensive, but she won't hesitate to throw herself forward in defense of someone she loves. Char is thoughtful and creative, but isn't particularly book-smart. She does seem to understand people pretty well, though. After watching her parent's ship go down, she is more watchful and observant than talkative. but once excited, she can be distracted from anything! She freezes up when she's scared and is quick to cling to her nearest ally. Description: At twenty-one years old, she stands only 5'5". Char is short and skinny and relatively lacking in the curves department. She has pointed, halfling-like ears. Her left ear is pierced four times. Her right, only once. Vibrant, fuchsia eyes. Her golden-blond hair is thick and fullbodied and drops to about her knees. No bangs, but she keeps her luscious locks out of her face by keeping it all to one side. Her small, feathered wings are the same color as her hair. Childishly pouty pink lips. She is rather fond of jewelry, especially gold. She also loves her heeled boots, since they give her an extra inch or two of height. As for clothing, she sticks to her pirate-y attire nicely and prefers somewhat muted colors. Speech Color: #ff1cf7
Skills: ● Holy Light - Create a holy barrier of light energy that heals you or anyone of your choosing for 25 LP for 2 turns. Usable 3 times per encounter. Costs 15 Energy. ● Light Shell - Create a magical barrier around yourself, energizing you for 20 Energy instantly. If the time of the RP is morning or the fight is taking place in Serenia, it energizes for 30. Can only be used 1 time per encounter. ● Reflect - Create a wall of light to reflect one attack back to the attacker. Usable 1 time per encounter. Costs 10 Energy. ● Blinding Light - Blind your enemies for 2 turns, lowering their accuracy by 20 points. (ie: Apprentice Accuracy is 1-50 miss, 51-100 hit. They now have a miss anywhere from 1-70, and a hit from 71-100, etc.) Usable 1 time per encounter. Costs 20 Energy. ● Ball of Light - Turn yourself into a ball of light and move quickly through the air. Usable across bodies of water. This can only be used out of combat and during the day. When nightfall hits, you instantly turn back to your normal self.

Attack Styles: Char is thoughtful and hesitant when opposed. Her petite size makes her more suited toward ranged attacks, as she doesn't do well with physical contact. Charlotte's weary mindset makes her most suited to magic. Her Dovaa crew mate will also serve as her teacher. She's not afraid of running when she's outmatched.
Weapon Specials: Ivory Rose is Charlotte's imprinted wand. (Note: Choosing the wand grants your character a permanent increase of +5 INT and allows your character to channel the magic of the Aedaun dragon. When at Master Stage, the character will be boosted to +10 to INT and mastery of the Aedaun dragon magic instead of just +5). [Bonus already added to stats.]
Attack List: Unarmed Attack: ATK: Flutter Kick: 5 ENG, 5 DAM/ATK Charlotte jumps as high as she can, using her wings for an extra push. She smashes her foot down onto her opponent's head, using her dropping body weight for a little extra power. Armed Attack: ATK: Stab: 10 ENG, 10 DAM/ATK Charlotte lashes out with a small dagger. If the opponent is too close, or can't shake her, she goes into a stabbing frenzy, mercilessly jabbing until she's tossed off. Armed Attack: ATK: Slinging Treasure: 15 ENG, 15 DAM/ATK Charlotte uses her handy treasure sack like a bludgeon, swinging it around to fend off any attacks. It also makes a handy bat for any projectile attacks coming her way. Armed Attack: ATK: Flinging Tempest: 30 ENG, 20 DAM/ATK Charlotte starts chucking her vast collection of knives at her opponent. Who knew that she actually saved every blade Kayden ever gave her? Initiate Magic: ATK: Holy Blade: 10 ENG, 5 DAM/ATK Wielding one of her knives, Char uses her light magic to extend the blade into a shimmering, sharp cutlass. It gives her smallish frame a much larger reach. Journeyman Magic: ATK: Stake of Light: 15 ENG, 10 DAM/INT With a wave of her arm, Char creates a new volley of light-induced weapons ready to be hurtled toward her opponent. They can be wielded like knives or thrown like darts. Advanced Magic: ATK: Stairway to Seren: 20 ENG, 10 DAM/INT + 2 DAM/ATK Char creates a series of light pillars that she can actually run across. It helps bring her up to or above her opponent's level, and she releases a barrage of magical orbs to attack the attackers below her. Master Magic: ATK: Revolution: 50 ENG, 20 DAM/INT + 5 DAM/ATK Char has pretty heightened resolve, if she's using this attack. She wills a heap of her magic to come forth and shapes it into a hoard of glass-like weapons that she swings around violently. Unavailable
Defense List: Basic Defense: DEF: Tuck and Roll: 5 DAM/DEF Warded Charlotte's small size can make her a more difficult target to hit. She can usually scoot to the side enough to avoid a fatal blow, and instead take a glancing attack. Moderate Defense: DEF: Cover: 10 DAM/DEF Warded Charlotte ducks and hits the floor to spare her any grievous injuries, then rolls back to her feet in preparation for her next attack. Advanced Defense: DEF: Distraction: 15 DAM/DEF Warded Char uses any and all of her shiny trinkets to focus her opponent's attention less on her, and more on the goodies. It can lead to a stray or missed attack. Unavailable Master Defense: DEF: No More: 20 DAM/DEF Warded Charlotte is finished with her kiddy games and ready for a real defense. And the best defense is a good offense. Char ducks and weaves to dodge any incoming attacks. She can't sit still for an instant, even when a blow lands. Unavailable Initiate Magical Defense: DEF: Shimmer Shield: 5 DAM/INT Warded Charlotte projects a small, translucent shield before her to protect from small oncoming attacks. Unfortunately, it can be shattered quite easily. Journeyman Magical Defense: DEF: Deflect: 10 DAM/INT Warded Char angles her shield so that attacks glance off of it, rather than coming straight on. It helps her shield last a bit longer, though a powerful attack can shatter it. Advanced Magical Defense: DEF: Layers of Light: 15 DAM/INT + 2 DAM/DEF Warded Charlotte casts something akin to a series of blankets of light around her. Though they aren't great at stopping attacks, they do greatly muffle the damage, and their bright, shimmering shines help her to dodge anything coming straight at her.. Master Magical Defense: DEF: Light Armor: 15 DAM/INT + 10 DAM/DEF Warded Even Char isn't to small to wear a full suit or armor when it's made of her light magic! She outfits herself like a real knight, albeit, a short one, a takes any attack that is thrown her way like a real trooper! Unavailable

History
Charlotte hasn't lived a very sedentary life. Both her mother and father were sailors and traders, so even at her young age, Char has explored much of the world! At least, much of the world that's on water. She's met many people and actually needs company to stay sane. The members of her father's crew were some of her closest and most trusted friends, although, Char looks for companionship just about everywhere.
Both her parents played a part in her schooling. They were very dutiful and loving to her, and she learned nothing but loyalty to Seren. Fortunately, that doesn't hinder her from making friends among the other races, just as it didn't hinder her parents. Even when shunned, Char is easily very accepting and understanding. Some people weren't raised like her, after all. In addition to her book learning, she also has quite a few technical skills including hunting, fishing, and trading/bartering. She can even gut and prepare her own meals!
Unfortunately, her father's vessel was attacked by a Peisio Dragon. The ship and crew were decimated in the battle, with Char the only survivor. Peisio's are the only breed of Dovaa and Drakein that Charlotte can simply not get along with. They remind her too much of that battle. Luckily, she was saved by a pirate vessel, who was happy to take Char in and give her a home. Her tiny, sneaking frame is quite useful for incognito pillagings, and she is an excellent informant.
The little Orderite has taken more than a little interest in a certain crew mate, though...
Dragons: Char holds no sympathies for dragons, especially those of the Peisio breed. She may not be your average school girl, but that doesn't mean she hasn't learned to hate them!
Drakeins: Suspicious of them. They're smaller than dragons, but still awfully similar... One of her crewmates is bonded, though, so maybe she'll let up after a little interaction. Samael: A Gaili Drakein that Char teamed up with for a few fights. He's not what I expected a Drakein to be. Maybe it's a Gaili thing. Kayden is a Gaili Dovaa and he's pretty laid-back. Wait, maybe it is a Gaili thing! Sam can be vicious like Kayden too! But he's also cheery and helpful. He's pretty okay. I don't mind fighting with him. Darke Frost: An Egg that will be bonded to Maeron. It looks like a pretty blue opal! I can't help it that I'm attracted to shiny things! And this little egg is so pretty, even if it belongs to someone else! It's amazing to think of what could come out of it... I travel a lot. Maybe I'll find one too!
People: No matter whether Orderite, Oblivionite, Dovaa, or Hybrid, Char is open to all! The crew that adopted her is a mixture of them all, so Charlotte has no fear or hatred of the other races. Lithian: A Peisio Dovaa that Char met when he was very young. Char's feels. Maeron Aredan: An Orderite boy with a Drakein egg. And pretty hair. I was lucky to run into him, since he gave me the map that helped me into the city. I'm not gonna lie, though, I kinda tried to borrow his egg for a while. He got pretty upset, and I ended up storming off... But I understand. I don't really like it when my precious things are taken, either.
My NPCs: Characters I made specifically to go along with Char's story~ Kayden Rike Elks: An Gaili Dovaa with pink hair. He's pretty polite for a pirate. The Dovaa man that pulled me from my little boat... I can't deny that he's a little older than me, and he's not the most handsome fellow, but I like him... A lot. He's friendly and warm and giving and protective. *blush*
