The rooms designated for student club activities are currently devoid of everything from canines to Scario Kart racers, but the rooms are not empty. Clusters of shadowlings have gathered in the corners and beneath some of the desks and tables, surging from place to place when there is nothing left for them to devour. The walls that once separated the rooms from one another have been chewed through, leaving enough room to duck through or crawl from one room to another - plenty of space for shadowlings to travel.
They appear to be coming in vast numbers from the last room on the hall, where a portion of the ceiling has fallen through, stray shadowlings still chowing down on the debris. This is however, one of the few places that is not covered or barricaded entirely in these strange, hostile creatures. Is it your imagination or have some of the shadowlings evolved, growing slightly larger now, almost up to half an average student's height?
You have two options:
Do nothing:
You sit around and literally, cower. You hide, you try to not get too close to the shadowlings. You are absolutely no help and simply watch others, or perhaps surrender to your fate once the shadowlings get tired of their surroundings and find you.
Fight:
Right, why are you cowering anyway? It is time to step up and attack! You get yourself ready, and brace yourself for shadowlings, a lot of shadowlings.

The area is infested with hundreds of tiny shadowlings, teeming in a thick, unsteady black. They do not seem ravenous quite yet, but they are getting restless, some straying a little too close towards you....

She entered the area for the clubs and noticed that the creatures were indeed infesting the area. Well, now she wasn't worried about hitting them because it meant they weren't something that could yell at her for it later. No one else was around and she didn't really feel like aggravating them when no one else was there to fight them off.
So for now, she hid behind a cabinet and waited for others to arrive.

Efflo stomped into the clubrooms, snorting angrily. Where was everyone? He needed to have words about the things that were ransacking his room and his pants. Well, he wasn’t really sure what he would say if he did actually run into anyone but he could very well stay in his room with those devouring monsters.
To his dismay, it seemed that the clubrooms were just as teeming with little shadows as his dorm room, though these shadowlings seemed to be less… aggressively hungry than the others. Efflo toed at one a little too hard with his boot, blinking in surprise when the small creature let out a little screech and dissipated. How odd, he thought. What were these things?

As Diana enter the area for the club room she growled softly. The area was overrun with those shadow creatures she had seen in her room and she just knew that her bad day had just gotten worse. Looking around she notices that they have somehow ripped through the walls separating the different club rooms and were now gathering in groups. She also noticed a fellow student hiding behind one of the cabinets nearby that were left, and another looking rather grumpy. She could definitely follow that feeling. She was still upset about loosing a portion of her much hoarded clothing to these things. However, she knew that fighting before having some backup against this many might not be the best idea.
So with that thought she went behind a large bookcase near the zombie girl and tucked her wings against herself. "Well here goes the school.. again." She muttered to herself, glancing at the girl once before watching the movement of the creatures. She was had already pulled out her silver hairbrush out of her purse to use as a weapon, until another better one presented itself, and was ready to fight off these shadowy creatures.. As soon as there was more people to back her up.

Petro located Lattice easily enough, the ghoul had already escaped her dorm room. He said little more than a word, just the soft utter of her name and then her hand was in his as he led her away. They arrived at the clubroom and found "There's more'v 'em," he murmured, neither angry nor concerned. He gave Lattice's hand a gentle squeeze and maneuvered himself to stand between the ghoul and the horde of shadowlings.

Lattice was relieved when she found Petro. Something she could see and a familiar voice. She could only hope her Twin and Ulmuka were alright as well, the Engraver trusted the Strix to protect Needle in this dire time. Willingly the ghoul followed Petro along until they arrived at their next destination and what she sensed in the area around her was unnerving to say the least. Behind her mask she furrowed her brow and let Petro step forward because she wasn't sure what else to do, "I don't like it when I can't see what I face," she said softly toward him.
For now she'd let him protect her because it made him feel confident and happy to do so.

Diana upon seeing the two new students enter felt a bit better about coming out from her hiding place. Stepping out from behind the bookshelf she mantles her wings and her tail swishes as she glares at the shadow creatures in the room. Truthfully she didn't care one wit about the other four in the room, they were just cannon fodder for the creatures as well as decoys as she herself attacks. "I guess I had better pitch in as well now." She muttered as she took a swing with her hairbrush at the nearest shadow creature. However the creature dodged her swing and she was left glaring at it as she readied another strike.

Junko was checking the school first, though her running had long since ended because she was not a runner. She wasn't surprised to see so many students gathered in the clubroom area. Maybe everything was okay?
...Or maybe not. Someone was hiding behind a cabinet and many of the students looked a little worse for wear. Junko frowned. At least most of these faces were familiar in some way or another. "Ah...hi..is everyone okay?" What was happening around here?
And then she saw them, the things from her room. Junko took a step back, her hand clamped over her mouth and her eyes wide. No! Not here too! Was the school infested?!

Lizzy had decided to check the club rooms first, jogging past the odd creatures that had attacked her room; they were everywhere, and the school looked like it might get consumed by them soon, if they don't do something about it...
As she neared the place, she sighed in relief when she saw Junko; maybe the reason shy she had a gut feeling to go to the club rooms was because her soulmate was there? Either way, she gave her a quick hug from the side before looking around; there were a number of familiar faces, and a few unfamiliar ones... Then again, even with familiar faces, it had been a while since she last met up with them.
She couldn't help feeling a pang of guilt at the thought.
"Junko, did they attack your room too?" She asked, managing a wave at Petro and Lattice - although for the latter, she decided to verbally yell out a greeting as well, since she didn't have any ink on her at the moment. To the not-as-familiar faces - although she was sure that she had seen them around - she smiled, "Let's stay together, alright?" Safety in numbers and all that!

The hellhound bounded across campus on all fours, darting between students and shadows in the night. The campus was infested with whatever these things were and the students were entirely capable of handling themselves. The campus was being protected. Ears swiveled hearing war cries and din of pain, the strange sounds of the shadows that were being dissipated. This was more of a war than an infestation. Where they all came from and what they are going to do should be something to be determined. This academy was totally different than what he had thought, not only was it going to be a new haven for him, but he felt it would be a great place to find a good spar from time to time.
Since his dorm was nearly eaten, he was able to analyze some behavior patterns of the shadow in the room. However, as he was moving across the campus, he noticed that these shadows aren't like the one he faced before. Regardless, he darted into a building and made his way up the stairs.
Turning the corner, he noticed that this wasn't exactly the building he was looking for. This was the club houses that was on the directory and one of the buildings that he was toured to when first coming here during the Scarentine event. Damn. It was the gym he was looking for. Goes to show that he wasn't familiar of the campus like the little girl known as Maple.
At the end of the hall was a black mass like he had seen before. There were students here too, trying to defend the structure. Without hestiation, the large hellhound bounded into the fray.

Every time there was something happening, it was like anarchy outside. The Hound spent time dodging and running not just for bruteball practice, but for situations like this when it called for avoiding creatures and hunters and getting in close range. A practical skill for practical uses. One that was worth the time invested as Damien hopped around the frantic snots that crowded the open hallways and pushed his way past them and the yellow eyed beasts.
"Stop panicking and secure the area, get moving!" he called aloud, pushing the heavy furniture at the windows and directing the petrified creeple to band together and fight at the monster dorms, and once they seemed more competent, he took his chance to move further on, into the courtyard and running toward the club hall that seemed just in bad position as the gym. It was a moment on uncertainity, to go for one or the other, and no time to dwell on it.
They probably have Red over there, but who will help guard the clubs?
Phos decided to quip up from his place in their mind, the happy go lucky tone was more serious, on edge and worried for the student mass. What are you waiting for, that's probably in more dire straights runt, hop to it. Melas agreed, disgruntled at the gamma for saying it first. But it was slowly becoming unanimous, turning hell and dashing to ward the club building and charging in toward the main area of defense and kicking the black mess aside to join. "looks like you might need some help huh?" he grinned, taking a spot beside some of his fellow classmates and SEED members. "Lizzy, I suppose this isn't part of.... their doing right?" he asked quietly, taking the moment of chaos to hush his voice when addressing the ghoul. It would be scary if this was the hunters new type of warfare.
Though part of him did not think the rebellious humans were capable of using such resources.

The hug startled her, making her jump and move a hand to ward off another creature, but the instant she saw who it was beside her she relaxed. It was just Lizzy. Thank Jack. "They did, they were eating my stuff!" Junko whined.
Damien approached the two and Junko strained to listen to what he was saying.
