EVENT RP GUIDELINES AND RULES: gaia_crown [ Getting started ]:
- Yes this is an RP EVENT. If you are new to rping and do NOT have a TiH character, please
HERE- Make sure you read EVERYTHING above first. You are participating with your
IC TiH character. Make sure you follow the instructions of where to go, depending on what faction your character is, or if they are a quest or not
- You may participate with unlimited enrolled (owned) characters and UP to ONE quest character and ONE Halloween Towns character.
- After you have read everything you are ready to proceed to the locations! This is a
survival event! Move to the threads directed to you in the OOC comments!
Reading the OOC comments by the GMs in each thread is essential for you to move on in this event! - Your general goal is to
survive all the attack waves within your location, once you get there. RP the setting and IC knowledge and environment accordingly.
- Before you move to the thread (link below), make sure you take a second to choose
your role in the survival battle.

Your Role: ]
- You may choose ONE of these roles below. Keep in mind
all battles follow standard attack rules. In these boss/ mob fights, make sure you read the specific rules according to the mobs PER wave, but make sure you also have a good understanding of general battle rules
here!
- All factions must choose a role. This is equally spread throughout all factions @ role options.
[ Path of the Warrior: ] - Your attack is HALVED. This includes any Fear attacks you may do!
- Your HP is DOUBLED

SPECIAL EFFECT: Blind Protection
A warrior can SHIELD up to two players a turn. Do so by quoting them. NEXT turn, the warrior will take the damage of those they are shielding/ quoting. You must use this INSTEAD of attacking normally. Make sure when quoting and using this effect to notify the players you are shielding that you are using this effect ON THEM.
[ Path of the Spellcaster: ] *A Halloween Town OR Questing student CANNOT choose this path*
- You attack is doubled. This INCLUDES Fear attacks you may do!
- Your HP is HALVED

SPECIAL EFFECT: Second Chance
If an attack results in your immediate death (0 hp), you may ONCE in this battle skip it!
[ Path of the Observant ] Special Bonus: You cannot attack or defend, you can only HEAL. Your heal depends on your
regular melee dice. So if you normally attack using 2d6-6, you heal for that amount. You can only heal one target at a time. If you decide not to heal and use a Fear Charge for the turn, you may do so, those behave normally, same with Artifacts, Runics, Learned Abilities, etc. Distortion and Artifacts that normally boost your attack STACK with your Heals (accordingly)
- Your HP is normal, but your attack power, after all results is HALVED

Special Effect: Full Heal
Your special bonus heals for double (see above on how to "heal") on any ally being protected by a Warrior skill.
gaia_crown [ Shadowlings and You! ]:
- This is a SPECIAL Shadowling!
- These special shadowlings like to eat everything! Including YOU! Nom nom! They have a voracious appetite and absolutely no control.
- You need to stop them before they eat you and everything around you. Protect your school/ facility/ faculty/ Lair/ area before it is destroyed!
- The more Shadowlings you defeat and damage you do to them, the less damage will be done to the area around you.

At the end of the last wave of monsters, the
two zones with the LEAST damage done total to Shadowlings will be
DESTROYED. This will only last a few IC weeks as repairs are done, but it means all activities in that area will be suspended as well!
gaia_crown [ Starting Zone Tips ]:
- Once you have passed the starter zone below and chose a final boss fight zone, it is good to SPREAD OUT
- All zones have hidden NPCs that will try to help you out!
- Certain zones have special prizes waiting for you but you won't know unless you spread out on all the zones! I mean it! But make sure the zone choice is applicable to your faction before you begin.
- Once again
flat across all factions, the LOWEST TWO ZONES, or the zones with the LOWEST DAMAGE DONE (top 2 lowest) will be DESTROYED. This is an IC repercussion for not protecting the area!! Use your skills, Fear attacks (where applicable) and abilities wisely! Collaborate with your team mates!

Don't forget to quote anyone who are targeting or talking to!- Please DO NOT MINDLESSSLY ROLL DICE, this is an
RP EVENT as well. Take into consideration your surroundings and consider how your character would ICly react to this situation and their attacks and teamwork correspondingly!
- Once your character has
ENTERED *chosen* that area, they CANNOT exit until the end of the event!
