Height: 6' 1"
Hair: His jet black hair is often kept short due to his occupation as a locksmith and a Shinigami. It's dangerous to have long hair and it's a hassle to keep tying it up all the time.
Eyes: The pair are a soft forest green inside of his double eyelids. Though they are always hidden behind his thick rimmed, slim shaped glasses. He's actually near-sighted, so he rarely looks through them while working on a lock that's really close to his face. The glasses slide down upon the bridge of his nose and he looks above them. However, if someone were to enter the shop at that time, he would push his glasses back upon their expected position and look through the glass pieces.
Actual Age: Estimated to be about 150 years old, but takes the appearance of a 26 year old man.
Personality: With an icy glare and uncaring expression, Robert shows off a very stoic personality. He seems to show no sympathy for anything at all. Maybe it's his views on the world or even to himself, no one really knows what he truly cares about or is just told to care about. He's a man of little words, not one to chat until night turns to day.
However looks can be deceiving as he is a victim of being fickle. His heart sways with only a bit of persuasion and even subject to change completely. With but a batter of eyelashes, a heartfelt please or even a sturdy request, he'd bend over backwards to fulfill their requests. Another reason for this is because he fears women for his life. Mothers with tempers, ladies who try to chat him up, he just can't do it. The most he can handle is the ladies at the front desk because he's gotten quite friendly with them. He'd rather risk his life saving a cat from a burning building or spend nights without sleep to see them happy, but still maintaining a professional image; the responsibility that comes with the glasses and suit.
Human Occupation: Robert works as a locksmith that specializes in creating those with finer details to be put on large houses. Occasionally, simple locks will be made for shops, carriage doors and windows. Each lock and key are specially made to fit each other.
Death Scythe: Disguised as a regular hammer, his scythe is a toothed bush hammer. However, the handle is slightly longer; it is the length from his wrist to his elbow. This allows him to use both hands if he ever needs more power in his swing. One end is an organized grid of sharp protruding pyramids, while on the other side is sharpened like a knife. The side with spikes is used in defense in case anything happens during a mission. It is also used when a large amount of souls need to be reaped. The main end he uses is the sharpened end which, with a single swing, can cut film strips.
History: While in training, Robert didn't really want to be a shinigami at all. He sort of just wanted to stay in the shadows and organize the library or become one of the ladies at the front desk, sending off poor saps to do the dirty work. Alas, he wasn't a woman, so he couldn't be a front desk lady, and if every shinigami in training went into the library to work, there would be more workers in there than there were records! Repeatedly, he refused to become a shinigami, no matter how many times people asked him. He even tried to fail the finals to stay in training than be let off into the human world.
In the third year over, he had nowhere left to go but out. Either he was to become a shinigami or drop out of training. He chatted with the front desk ladies time and time again about letting him help there, but they brushed it off every time. Without a choice, he left training to become a full fledged shinigami. After many years of studying, he has come to think but one thing; humans were all the same.
Recent History: His first impression of the human world was that it was dirty. With the chatter of people, the cobbling of horses and the sky as grey as his suit was crisp. He wanted to back to the academy and stay there forever. His only skill was reaping, he had no other special skills under his belt. After causing a fire as great as Nero's in a bakery, being a bad influence to a family of orphans and handing a flock of sheep over to a wolf, he was convinced that he was indeed, talentless.
After countless times of being introduced to new jobs that seemed he could not possibly fail at, he proved them horribly wrong. One day, a lady, seeing him with his glasses fogged with ash and ends of his hair singed to a crisp, introduced him to a lonely locksmith who sat in his dimly lit workshop and worked his fingers to the bone creating ornate doorknobs and locks. Days passed and then weeks of tedious training to perfect the art of sawing the insides of locks and forming of a sturdy key that Robert had forgotten that he had missions piled up at the front desk.
Eventually he went back to pick up his overdue work. Scrolling through the pile to pick out his own, he noticed a familiar name, though not one of his; the one belonging to the locksmith. He was to pass away due to an old injury near his left lung. Upon reading this mission, he tried to learn as much as possible from the man before he met his maker. The day came when the man passed away. When Roy looked into the man's records in the library and saw his happiness, his sorrows and even the moment that sealed his fate, for the first time in his career, he felt no regret in becoming a shinigami.
With customers headed to the little workshop day in and day out, he took over the title of the locksmith, although he was still far too inexperienced to even begin to replicate the intricate locks that the deceased locksmith had left.

 He seems quite diligent in his duties at such a young age and is loyal to his master. From his words, he is to be an aspiring blacksmith. I would not mind chatting over tea with him once more.
 Quite the independent young lady. She talks quite a bit, but I make do with it whenever she does.
 I have yet to meet this fine young lady.
 I have yet to meet this dapper young man.
