Rider Appearance: Cass is quite small for her age, only 5'1”, and was often called 'runt' when she was younger (something that annoyed her to no end). Now that she is a teen though, and has filled out her womanly attributes, she is not teased quite so much. She has a sweet, heart shaped little face and large, expressive dark eyes, all framed by short cropped blonde hair. She has full lips that are often turned up at the edges and puckered slightly in a dangerous, mischievous sort of smile that never bodes well. Her skin is fairly pale as she spends most of her time indoors in the kitchen. She may look small and weak, but she has surprisingly strong grip from all the kneading of dough she does.

Rider Personality: When things are going her way, Cass is a very sweet girl, and effusive in her affection for people. However, if things that she doesn't like start happening, she tends to throw a fit and yell at whoever she ends up attaching the blame to, tending to go a little overkill on blaming someone for something. Despite how small she is, she is extremely loud in her displeasure, and if things get really bad, then she will curse them black and blue with a surprisingly wide vocabulary for someone who is normally so sweet and adorable. She hates not getting her way. So long as things are good, though, she always has a smile on her face, and a baked sweet for anyone who asks. Another thing that bothers Cass to no end is when people ignore her, or pay more attention to someone else in her presence (e.g. she's in a group of people, chatting, but everyone keeps focusing on one person constantly, and that one person isn't her). She can be a very jealous person, and loves to be the center of attention. She is rarely jealous of possessions, though every once in awhile if she sees something she really wants but can't have, she'll go into a sulk. Mostly, though, she is only jealous when it comes to attention.
So long as people aren't annoying her, though, and she is being paid proper attention, Cass is a very friendly, warm person. She is very outgoing and makes friends with ease. She is always willing to lend someone a hand if they need help, no matter what the task may be. She is always ready to sit and listen to a friend that has a problem, and do her best to help them out. She also enjoys the occasional gossip session with the other women. Many people would assume, with the tantrums and the otherwise sweet personality, that she is a bit of an airhead, but she actually quite enjoys learning. When she was younger she would spend a good deal of time plaguing the weyr harper for new songs to learn and the like.
Cass absolutely detests ignorant and obnoxious people. She will turn her nose up and proceed to ignore them if they enter her presence. She will encourage others to do the same until the person that displeases her leaves. Basically, anyone that she dislikes, but hasn't provoked her yet (or has already and that's why she dislikes them, lol), gets the silent treatment.
Rider History:
Cass was born and raised at Telgar Weyr. Her mother, Nari, worked in the kitchens in the lower caverns, and so she didn't have much time for Cass, who was raised mostly by creche workers, like most weyr children. Nari was rather promiscuous in her youth and so she isn't actually sure who Cass' father is, but neither of them have really felt driven to find out. Despite Nari not having had much to do with Cass' initial upbringing, they are still quite close, as both of them work in the kitchens. Cass was drafted a few turns ago to help out in the kitchen and ended up never leaving, attaching herself to the lead baker and learning everything she could. Baking is Cass' favorite activity these days and she spends her free time coming up with new recipes for sweets and breads. Over all, she had a very average childhood there in the Weyr, growing up and playing with the other weyrbrats.
When Malkai became the new Weyrwoman, and Kaveth had laid a clutch on the sands, Cass finally determined that she would try her hand as a candidate for a chance to impress a dragon.
As it happened, Cass did impress, to Green Vespereth.

Layla - I'm sorry that you didn't impress...I hope that the fact I did doesn't ruin the little friendship we were gradually building.

Y'ul - Ugh, I really don't like her! I dumped a little flour on her 'by accident' (she was laughing when my dough was ruined because someone stole my ingredients!) and she nearly punched me in the face! Good thing L'pin was there to stop her. She's a candidate too, though I don't know what dragon would possibly look her way, she's far too mannish!
- I do not like you at all! You hit mine in the face, on purpose! Don't think I didn't notice!

L'pin - He seems really nice, polite too! He is rider of Blue Shamth, and is for some reason friends' with Yulu (I think they must be related or something, but he doesn't want people to know! Can't blame him...). His dragon seems very posessive of him though, so I don't think he gets to socialize much...
- You seem nice, but I'm not sure I like yours...

F'len - I don't know you very well yet, but you seem quite nice. I'm sure we'll run into each other often during lessons.

Il'raz - You're a fellow weyrbrat, but I've never gotten to know you very well. Hopefully, now that we are both riders, we will see more of each other.
- Betteth seems to like you, so you much be nice.

Va'en - We have not known each other very long, but I can already tell we will be great friends. You're a bit shy, but you'll get over it between me and your's.
- You are very nice, and Mine likes you, and so does Morgath, so I like you as well!

Shamth - I've heard some...less than pleasant things about you despite how nice L'pin is. You had better behave yourself around Vespereth.
- 'I'm not sure I like you. You seem spiteful...'

Skananth - A very handsome little blue, but awfully clumsy. It's an adorable sort of clumsy though.
- 'You need to learn how to walk! I love you anyways though, just try not to step on my tail!'

Betteth - She seems like a very chipper hatchling.
- 'You change so often, but it is fun, I think! I never know what you will say!'

Morgath - Such a big bronze! You'll do well with Va'en I think, and I appreciate the way you help look out for Vespereth.
- 'You are so big and nice! I love playing with you! you'll always be there for me, right?'
