~Pippin Lafayette
Name : Pippin Lafayette
Age : Child (6-11)
Gender : Male
Height : Tall? (Get exact soon)
Weight: Skinny? (Get exact soon)
Build : Long and slender, not much meat on him.
Skintone : Light with patches
Eyes : Emerald Green
Hair : A mousy brown color
Distinguishing Physical Characteristics : ~Possibly the most noticeable trait of Pippin's is his large, grey earwings. I would thing they would make him a bit off balance, but as long as he's wearing his glasses he seems to be fine. ~Most of his skin is quite pale and pasty, but has large patches that cover a good portion of his body. ~That boy's nails are like claws. I keep trying to file them but they just manage to grow back.
Personality : He's a very shy boy, who seems to keep to himself. He's not very social (which hopefully I can manage to change, social skills are always important). He tends to think he's not good enough for things, which creates a sort of a complex. He's not very much like other boys, he's quite respectful and chooses his wording carefully. I'm often called 'mother' rather than 'mommy' and such. He's a very intelligent boy, who enjoys reading and such. He's such an intellectual.
Socila Standing: Upper class
Sexual Orientation: He doesn't have one yet, far too young to worry about such things.
Dress Style: He has very bland taste if you ask me, preferring to wear neutral colors and turtlenecks. He seems to like the clothing most young boys shy away from, but the formal look he has seems to suit him well.
Other : He's blind as a bat without his glasses. The poor dear, when he loses them he just can't stop bumping into things. And with those wings and long frame... it's rather easy to bump into things.

~Genetics
Sin- Envy Species: Invidia - Like Greed, Envy is characterized by an insatiable desire; they differ, however, for two main reasons. First, Greed is largely associated with material goods, whereas Envy may apply more generally. Second, those who commit the sin of Envy desire something that someone else has which they perceive themselves as lacking.

Bringing Home PippinThe stately woman walked through the large doors of the establishment, flicking a curl as she approached the front desk. "Excuse me sir," she said, her voice like honey, or that of a radio host, "I'm here to pick up my, um, child?" she asked, a bit hesitant. For but a moment she had considered this might have all been a practical joke, though a cruel one. The sight of a child or two running rampant however quickly put this theory to rest.
The female at the desk eyed the blonde female carefully, it was obvious she loathed her job as a young child tugged at her hair, "Fifth floor, third door to the left." she gestured at a nearby elevator.
Cecilia nodded gently before approaching the elevator. With a click of her heels she was in the elevator, riding up until the doors swung open with a 'ding'. The floor was oddly quiet compared to the lobby downstairs, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. This time there was a man whom she decided to approach, "I'm here for my child?" she asked, still feeling the mere idea of recieving a random child was strange.
"Oh yes of course, you're name ma'am?" the young boy asked, sneeking a look at the woman as he consulted his clipboard. "Cecilia Lafayette." the woman put simply, getting rather ancy. She tapper her foot, not from annoyance but moreso an excited twitch. Finally the boy nodded "Ah yes, envy and humility."
"Excuse you?" Celi asked, rather confused by the words just spoken to her, "I have two children?"
The boy laughed, "No, no. That's the boy's sin and virtue. You'll understand in a moment." he said, stepping into another room. Cecilia waited for a few moments, biting carefully at her bottom lip until finally the boy came out with what could only have been her child.
"He's so darling!!!" the woman exclaimed, immediantly grabbing the child and pursuing to hug him until his eyes practically bugged out. She pulled away for a moment, looking him over. He certainly was an odd child, with large wings protruding from his head and speckled skin. He looked a bit frightened, but that was to be expected when a random woman was about to take you home.
"What's your name little one?" she asked, kneeling down so that they were eye to eye, "I-I don't have one..." he said quietly, his wings folding tenderly around his face, a tad intimidated by the woman.
"Don't have one!? Now how is that?" Cecilia pouted slightly, putting a slender finger to her lip, obviously thinking, "How abouttttt, Pippin?" she asked, smiling at the young child who nodded gently in return. The female seemed rather excited of the notion of him liking the name, "Good! It's settled then, your name is Pippin!" she squeezed the boy one more time before approaching the employee.
"So do I need to sign any documents?" and when she was thrust a clipboard she briskly signed, bidding the man a farewell as she walked out with her new son.
On the ride home the woman began to explain a few things to her son, "You see, posture is everything. Keep your back straight and your head up, it's always important to make a good presentation." she said with a curt nod. This was not the first thing she had told him, and in fact many other important things had proceeded it. "Do you understand?" she asked.
Pippin nodded his head gently once more, honestly quite intimidated by the things the woman said, and he still seemed quite frightened and he barely spoke. "I understand." Another smile, "Good, because we'll be arriving shortly and these might be things worth knowing." she said with a wink as the car pulled into the driveway.
"Come now dear! Into the house..." as the door was opened and the young boy looked in he saw the house filled with people who all hurridly yelled "Welcome home!" and proceeded to clap. His new parent turned to him, a wide grin on her lips, "M-mother, is this for me?" he asked, rather surprised.
"Why yes dear, and please, call me mommy. No need to be so formal to me." her voice was tender and loving, and Pippin felt a certain warmth to this woman suddenly. In a moment though he turned again, suddenly rushed by people greeting him and questioning him. He did his best to stay calm, but stuck close to his mother at all times, the large crowds frightening him.
After the party had died down he had gone to sit in a corner alone. He felt like he could breathe there, and rested. For a long time he didn't really move, only watching people, eyeing what he could make out in their hands and thinking about how nice it would be to have such treats. He wanted them, and decided to take a bit of action in getting them. Standing he stumbled, catching himself and continuing to walk. He bumped into a guest, who apologized for being in his way. Why were they all being so nice to him? He didn't deserve this, no way. No matter how much he wanted the things the people had he knew that he did not deserve them.
In this state of realization and dismay the youngster attempted to make it back to his seat, knocking into an elderly woman and spilling her wine down her blouse, "Sowwy!" he said, apologizing with his whole heart as he stumbled on, managing to knock over a plate of cheese, one of cream puffs, two guests, another glass of wine, a present a woman had gotten him, and yet another plate of cheese before his mother approched him. "Hunny, are you okay? Are your head wings confusing you?" she asked, stroking the soft feathers of her son's wings as she looked at him, awaiting his answer. "No." he said simply, looking up at his mother before finally speaking once more. "W-we forgot my gwasses."
The poor Cecilia practically fainted, how could she have been such a bad parent!? Wait, she didn't even know he had glasses. "Hunny, have you always worn them? I don't remember..." she thought for a moment, trying to remember but failing to do so.
"They woke me up fwom my nap and didn't give me 'em." he explained, and when his mother asked why he didn't speak up he replied simply "I didn't want to bowther you." The woman was so touched, but so determined to be a good parent that she grabbed the boy, told the guests she'd return shortly and hopped in the car, clicking the seatbelts fiercly as if their lives depended on it.
"Hold on baby, we'll get your glasses!" Cecilia said, putting the petal to the metal and speeding out of the driveway. Poor Pippin clung to his seatbelt, clenching his claws and biting his lip as his new mother sped through the streets and screeched to a stop at the establishment after what only seemed like moments.
The poor woman, determined only to be a good parent scurried up the elevator, Pippin not far behind until they hit the third floor where she gasped, short on air one single word, "Glasses!" As if he had known, the same man from earlier pulled out from behind the desk a pair of large, circular spectacles and handed them to Cecilia, "Have a nice day ma'am." Normally the woman would have been annoyed, but the sight of her young boy smile as he put on his spectacles and could see his mother clearly for the first time melted away all the negativity in the world.
Maybe she didn't have the skills, but Cecilia Lafayette certainly had the love. This was gonna be a bumpy ride. 1
