Table of ContentsEdes' Profile Noel's Profile Friends, Foes, and The Like Growths Requirements After that, Journal Entries and everything else Their song Hymn~ MUCCI’m collecting all the pieces of my memory And looking at me as a boy In the warmth of a sun beam You fell slowly towards the sky It always seemed as if Your back, tiny and always warm, was waiting for me. Love is a coward, and goodbyes are fleeting Blow away in the wind. Like ashes The disappearing corpse and soft memories converge and the tears pour Ave Maria, I can still hear your voice Closed my eyes gently Ring it out loud So that a lifetimes joy can be heard By this eternally sleeping body Santa Maria I look for the little boy in the silence my memory has become What do you think of the person I have become The dream that swam the skies ended without ever recalling love again The rain falling outside the small window has lifted and a sun beam is glittering.

Journal Entry Number One~ NoelSeveral hours have passed since I first arrived at the facility, and time and time again, I raised my head in hopes that my child had arrived, and just as often, I lowered it once more. Many families have passed through here with their children, each one of them unique, but not by human standards. The Children at this facility were way beyond normal. Some had horns, tentacles, wings, and other awkward appendages sticking out from their small bodies, while others had strange skin colors and a startling wildness in their eyes, as if they were... How do you say it...? Feral would be the best word, I suppose.
Running a hand through my long, dirty blonde hair, I continued to look up and down the starch white hallways, looking for the doctor that had brought me here. I kept wondering if my child would be like the others; would he have tentacles, or perhaps a feature missing, like an eye, or arms... In all honestly, it didn’t really matter to me, I just wanted a child of my own...
I’ve always been a bit of a motherly type, wanting to take care of everyone. I was raised with eight other siblings, though I wasn’t the oldest, granted, I was the third youngest, but as soon as I was old enough to grasp everything around me, it seemed that I always became the one everyone came to with their problems. I didn’t mind at all! In fact, I quite enjoyed it, knowing that others were dependent on me. But now, we were all grown up, and scattered to all corners of the world.
To fill the void that was created from the realization that I wouldn’t be able to help people like I used to, I became a worker at the local children’s hospital. I wasn’t a nurse, or a doctor, or any of the like, rather, I was the keeper of all the computers at the hospital; from the huge databases that contained all of the critical information on the children, to the computers that were in the play room, where the preschoolers would play color games, the older children would read stories, and the teens would surf the internet, all were in my care. It made my heart beam with pride when the children would come over to me while I was working and show me how their computer art worked, or when the others would gather around to see a funny video.
All this brought happiness to my heart. But the void was still there, for my work prevented me from creating deeper connections with everyone.
One day, while I was cleaning out the filing cabinets of one of old employees who decided to leave us for a more... Interesting child care center, I stumbled across a flier of sorts that was an ad for guardians. Guardians... I thought to myself, wondering what exactly they were talking about. The words Foster home popped out of the page towards me, and I felt myself being pulled to the ad, the address, since calling the number was out of the question. I folded up the ad and placed it in my carrier bag, considering going to the address listed or not. Soon enough, I forgot all about it, losing it within the clutter that was my bag.
A week later, when I had my first day off in such a long time, I found the paper once more, not inside my bag, but placed neatly on top of my coffee table, as if it had been there the entire time. Needless to say, I was startled, stunned even, but I still picked up the paper once more, locating the address.
On something that can only be described as an impulse, I prepared myself to go out, carrying a briefcase full of personal documents, such as the deed to my house, my birth certificate, any medical exams I’ve went through, and caught a cab to an isolated building on the outskirts of town.
Paying the cab driver and giving a slight wave of farewell, I turned from the street to face a building easily the size of a modern skyscraper, but surrounding it were several smaller builds, like little houses that contained an infinite amount of bedrooms, or better yet, apartments. The large, elegantly arranged court yard was barren of people, giving the otherwise spectacular area a cold, empty feeling. The gates were closed, as if it was to keep strangers out, and I began to suspect that perhaps I wasn’t welcome here. In fact, I still didn’t understand why I had come in the first place, but still, I was here, and I was not about to leave.
I raised a hand to press the gates open, but before I made contact, they swung open with a loud creaking noise that made me jump out of my skin. By then, I was thoroughly bewildered, and had stepped through the gates, only to have them slam behind me, once again, making me jump.
I looked around once more, when I saw a small child sitting on the steps of the building that wasn’t there before. Why is someone so small outside alone? Granted, there might not be any immediate threats around (Though I was here, but believe me, I’m a threat to no one), but someone should at least be accompanying him. He wore a cloak of sorts, one that covered him from head to toe, and he was dozing off in the sun. His hair was glistening, a big bunch of curly hair, and a soft breaths escaped him, confirming the fact that he was, indeed, asleep. There seemed to be a large lump on his back under his cloak, and, out of pure curiosity, I began to walk towards the little one, wanting to make sure he was alright. Communication between us might have been a problem, but it couldn’t hurt to try.
Before I could get close, a young woman scurried out of the front door, and picked up the sleeping child, softly scolding him, though I doubt he could hear her, for essence of dreamland had stolen his consciousness for the time being. She wore a lab coat, and thin rimmed glasses, that hid a pair of outstandingly bold eyes. Those same eyes met mine, and they changed from concerned to challenging. With a nudge of her head, she invited me in as she turned to reenter the building.
I didn’t move, beyond confused. I stood there, trying to make myself understand what exactly was going one with a strong voice snapped me out of my stupor.
“Come on. We don’t have all day.” The young woman called out into the court yard, to me. Having passed the child off to another, she now stood at the door, holding it open, and looking around. I scurried up the stairs to follow here, fearing that I, too, would be scolded for keeping her waiting.
Inside the build was a sight that could only be found within fantasy novels and children’s stories. Although sparse, there was what can only be described as ethereal beings walking around the halls. They were nothing like the child I saw earlier, all grown, and seeming have no need to talk to anyone that they encountered, or no want. The young woman, Amused at my reaction (there must have been a bewildered expression on my face) simply laughed.
“You’ll see a lot of, let’s just say People here like that,” She laughed once more, and took me to a reception area.
“So, Mr. Noel, You’re here to become a guardian to one of the children, correct?” she asked, stepping behind the desk. I raised an eyebrow, rather than begin to freak out. I know that there is no way that I had told her my name, nor my intentions, which I still didn’t know myself. She simply laughed again.
“Sir, we knew you were coming as soon as you touched the flier. And as for the knowledge that you are here to adopt one of our children... Well...” She took a pen and pressed it to my chest, where my heart would be. “You don’t have to be an angel or a devil to know that there is something missing here.” I was simply astonished, but didn’t try to correct here, for... I suppose I knew somewhere within me that it was true... The young woman gathered some paper work and a clipboard then began showing me around the facility.
After a while, I truly began to wonder what exactly I had gotten myself into. All the children here were bizarre, not human to say the least. They were just like the adult beings that were wandering around earlier, except tiny. The woman told me that these were the children that were here to be adopted. They were the results of experiments with angel and devil DNA. I felt as if tampering with such things were cruel, but she assured me that the children were just as happy as any other children that may have been normal. I had to agree, all the children here looked like they were just that, children, innocent to the ways of the world.
After explaining me on what I would have to do with my child, how he was to be raised, fed, the like, though it was much like how one would raise a normal child, she took me to the waiting area, while the paper work was being processed. And now, here I am, waiting.
More and more people had arrived, though they seemed to know why they were here. A few more minutes passed by before the woman came back with a child. The hair.. The expression.. It was the same child I had seen in the courtyard!
“When I went to go retrieve your child, this one had finally woken up, saying his daddy had arrived… I didn’t know what to say, especially since he never met you, nor is he ever awake long enough to get to know anyone, but as soon as I stepped back into the nursery, he sprang up.” She smiled, going over to talk to another worker for a moment, as the child waddled towards me.
“Daddy… You’re the daddy from my dreams...” He whispered. This child seemed almost human.. His pale eyes and large, feathered wings were the only reasons why one would say he wasn’t normal. He kept coming closer, until he placed a tiny hand on my knee, and another on the side of my throat. Did he already know…
“The daddy who no has a voice...” He spoke softly, looking at me hopefully.. I nodded to agree with him. I have no voice, I’m a mute... I thought to myself, and the boy just beamed and hugged me as best as his tiny arms would allow. “Daddy… My daddy…!” He giggled softly, before falling asleep, half on my legs.
I began to panic, thinking I had done something wrong. The young woman simply laughed again and explained how it was part of his DNA. After she continued to explain the young child to me, all the while, I held him in my arms, stroking his hair, we were free leave.
We were escorted back home and the little child hadn’t woke yet. While he slept on my bed, I called the hospital, and told them I was going on leave, though I would still work from home remotely, and when any one asked why, I told them I had watch a friend’s child.. Until I was sure of myself, I would stay at home with the little one... Ѐdes was his name… Oh... I have to go for now... He’s finally waking up… I’ll tell you more about him later, alright?

Édes.. It's time to learn! Wake Up! <3After a few hours of fiddling with a computer program, Noel finally had set up a voice system to use to teach Édes basic Letter and number recognition.
He picked up his little child, who slept soundly on his bed, and tickled his ear. Édes giggled, his eyes fluttering open, and he yawned, wiping his eyes with his sleeves. "Papa.. What is it..?" He murmured, nuzzling his father's chest.
Noel giggled, Clicking the mouse on an Icon on the screen. "Good Morning, Édes!" The speakers sounded out. The little spawn jumped, looking around wide eyed.
"What that sound? It said my name!" Édes giggled, as Noel clicked the button on the computer again.
"It's me, sweetie! This box right here, the computer, is using something that lets me talk to you!" The soft voice of semi robotic boy came out of the speakers. It was the voice of Len Kagamine, a vocaloid program that enables speech and song. Édes didn't quite understand, but he nodded, getting comfy on his father's lap.
Messing with a few more programs, Noel had two side by sided. One had a giant red "A" and the other was the speech program.
"Now, Édes, I want you to repeat what I say. This letter is the letter A." the program spoke. "The letter A is for words like Apple. Now.. Repeat after me.. Ah.. Ah.."
After about two hours of playing with the program, and letting Édes fiddle with the computer, Noel had taught him the Alphabet, and the numbers one through ten. By the time he got to 10, Édes was asleep on his feet, but he didn't scold him. This was the longest the little child had stayed awake, and he was very proud.
Closing the lap top, he took his son to the bed, laying him down, and curling around him protectively. A nap sounded like a very good idea.

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:
Letter Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following: Guardians Name: Child's Name: Sin: Virtue: Gender: Current Attitude: Likes: Dislikes: Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars ) Current hair style: Current clothing preferences: Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue) Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them? As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs. Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc. Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up. Thank you.
You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.
(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)
