((Alright. So, just as a brief background, Ary was forced to set this up by her friends and Shadai kind of told her to. It's in a giant ballroom that I will provide pictures with later. Just think of something fancy and you've got it. XD There's an entire buffet with snacks and various food items. Cody is forced to help greet guests and such and, at the moment, is handcuffed/tied via ankle to the door for numerous reasons. Will go to about... Meh, whenever people start getting bored. Maybe page 7, depends on how many people join. Cut off date is Monday for "arriving". Times are 6-11PM for the ball. Any other questions, PM me. :3))
Cody sighed, leaning against the door miserably. The past few days of his life had been horrible. Ah, well, at least he could put his new "dancing" skills to the test. Or be openly mocked at how stupid he looked. Thankfully, he managed to get out of wearing a tux. God they looked horribly uncomfortable.
The ballroom behind him was dressed up in pink, red, and white decorations to celebrate the holiday, leaning a bit more towards the white and red so as to not seem too feminine. Little heart balloons sat in the corners while little red lights rested on the tables covered in a white tablecloth. It would have looked a little too much like a place for a romantic date, had there not been a giant DJ booth in the corner playing entirely non-romantic techno. Of course, Ary and Shadai were arguing once more about the choice of music.
He waved to Aenira as she danced by, wearing a red sparkly dress. And of course, Azrael was nowhere to be found amongst the chaos. Probably hiding up in the attic in hopes of nobody finding him in his little red and white outfit. He looked ridiculous. Cody suppressed a grin of amusement as he glanced towards the clock. Six, that meant people would be showing up soon and he was STILL chained to the door. Stupid magical chains... Why the hell did Ary have to know MAGIC? Gah.

Bovi adjusted his hat one last time before heading towards the building where the ballroom was located. He was feeling rather spiffed up, and he was so happy that his mother got him a few of the lovely items that he was wearing. These sort of evolving items were worth the money for the Harrington's, as not only did they grow with the user, but it adapted to all of their odd physical quirks as well. He spotted the fellow at the door. Bovi had never met the fellow before, but he knew a 'I don't want to be here' look when he saw one. Still, he was there, and most likely the greeter, so Bovi tried to be as nice as possible. "Good evening," he said with a smile and a slight tip of the hat.

Tykier and Kyler walked up to the door, both wearing suits. The young man saw Cody at the door, and he was clearly glaring at him. The small boy next to him was gently holding his arms, trying not to fall over. Tui stroked Kyler's head, and La seemed to also watch Cody. Tykier saw Bovi, and smiled, "Hello, kind sir! Your suit is marvelous!" He disguised his voice a little so that the boy would look behind him surprised.

Now Edes, overly excited about tonight's ball. He had never been to such an activity, and had been learning how to dance just for this event!
Noel, his father, was overly excited as well! His little boy was growing up so fast! He could just remember as if it ere yesterday, Edes was asking him to cuddle up and nap with him.. Granted, that still happened every now and again, but soon enough, his boy wouldn't want to cuddle with him anymore, and he'll find someone else to cuddle with... But he couldn't be sad!! He had another boy coming, along with a grandson (well... Not yet, but we all know it's going to happen eventually)!!
Edes was dressed in a, well, dressy shirt, something right out of a Victorian novel, in shades of gold. Perhaps Red would have been more appropriate for a Valentines Day ball, But Noel didn't care when he dressed his boy. He was Absolutely Adorable, with all his ruffles and lace and bows. Edes wasn't embarassed at all about wearing such a girly outfit. It seemed to suit him rather well, and if you looked at him from behind, you would not beable to tell whether or not he was a female or a male.
He approached the doorway, feeling all, well, Bright and sparkly, when he spotted Cody. After the events of the incident not too long ago, whenever he saw Cody, his heart began to speed up, as if someone gave him the biggest cup of sugar ever!
"Hey Cody... They have you.. Um.. Chained to the door I see.. Miss Shadai and Miss Ary Still have you on a leash.."

Cody glanced over at Bovi as he walked up, unable to force a smile onto his face as he nodded to him. "Hello. Welcome to the party. There's, ah, food and drinks around the corner over there. Once they stop arguing there should be music..." he replied, trailing off as he saw Kyler and Tykier walk up as well. Great.
Cody all, but offered them a slight wave, seeing Tykier's face and not really wanting to do much more. He still didn't like Kyler, even if Edes... Well... Even if they were dating. Oh how the very thought of it threatened to force a blush onto his face.
Speaking of the devil, the very person he had hoped to show up walked in not too long after Kyler had. "Hey Edes and yeah, they do. They expect me to run off and never be seen again if they let me go. Don't blame them either. At least I'm out of the house," Cody replied, grinning despite the whole chained to the floor thing.

Young Pip scratched at his suit. It wasn't the most comfortable thing he had ever worn, all stiff and everything. He looked up at his mother with a pout, she knew he didn't approve but thought he looked so good in it. It was simple, nothing too flashy because that suggested that he thought better of himself than other people. Therefore, he wore a simple black suit with a red tie. It looked nice, very fancy and professional without being overdone or looking girly. The boy hated looking girl, and frequently stayed away from ruffles.
"Now remember your manners dear." the woman said, allowing her boy to go first.
"Good afternoon Cody." the boy said to the older one in passing as he and his mother walked through the door and into the brilliantly decorated ballroom.

It had been business in the beginning. Anthony had been hired to follow a man who was to be at the ball, and that was that. Unfortunately, Europa had caught wind of it and demanded that she come too, and she needed a new dress, Daddy, because she didn't have any that fit.
The pair arrived and snuck by the pink boy and the little...girl-boy...thing as they spoke to enter the ballroom proper. Europa was in a red, straight dress with spaghetti straps and a white crinoline overskirt. She looked pretty, really. Anthony was in his usual suit and a red tie, feeling very awkward.
"You know these people, Daddy! Stop bein' weird!"
"I don't know them, darling. You do."

"Thank you very much," Bovi said with a small bow before walking further into the ballroom, looking about. So far there was no one he really knew here, though that really didn't bother him at all, being the social one that he was. Still, he was actually hoping that there would be more people here, though then again the party had just started only moments ago, and there was the whole 'fashionably late' clause that usually stood in effect.
Bovi rolled his eyes and moved over to where the drinks were being served and got himself a cup of...something. He wasn't really paying attention to that. His mind was buzzing about, wondering why it was so fashionable to be late anyway. People seemed to prefer it if you, as a guest, arrived on time or maybe a few moments early, as long as it wasn't too early and you caught them still working on the last minute details... The thought process went on and on while the young teen sipped on his drink, not paying attention to the flavor of whatever it was. To any passer by it would look as though he was just spacing out as he sipped from his cup.

Pippin tugged on his mother's white dress (which had red accents so that it didn't look too much like a wedding dress or something) as soon as he saw the ever-familiar face of his friend Europa. Sure, she was older, but he was pretty sure they got along great, and he like her a lot because she was super nice. "Momma, lookit it's Europa an' her daddy!" he said with a big grin. He was quite sure Cody wouldn't want him hanging around, so he ran up to his friend. In an attempt to practice his manners he took a deep bow in front of the girl, "Hewwo ma'am, how're you this fine ev'ning?" he asked with his finest speech.
Celi suppressed a giggle as she smiled at her son before looking up and giving the same expression to Anthony, "You look very nice, it's good to see you again. It's been too long." the woman said, offering a gentle smile.

Europa giggled wildly and gave Pippin her hand, bowing in response.
"Quite fine, thank you, and you?" Daddy had taught her impeccable manners 'befitting of any young lady', but she was pretty sure she'd never, ever have a chance to really use them. Oh well! Pippin would be good practice.
Anthony watched the exchange briefly before turning his attentions to Celi. Ah, yes, the girl from the library! This time he took her hand and kissed the back of it, giving a low bow.
"Indeed it has been. The pleasure's all mine."

By now, Tykier left to go to a wedding, and Kyler was sitting on a chair near the wall. He hoped that Edes would spot him, so that they can dance with each other. Tui and La comforted, and cooed him. They continued to stroke him. The blind boy's hearing picked up familiar voices, and he looked up. Oooh! He hated these things, he always got lost in them... And he was sad that know one knew he was here! Stupid blindness...

"Oh.. Well, when you are released into the Ball, Let me know~" Edes knew that something inside him told him to stay by Cody's side.. After all... He was his.. But He couldn't let one of his dearest friends just stand against the wall all night.. What fun was that?
After a quick kiss on Cody's cheek, he went inside, to see a rather... Sad looking Kyler, and approached him, gently taking the other's hand in his own.
"Hello Kyler... Why So sad looking?"

Kyler looked up. That awfully familiar voice spoke to him, and he smiled happily, "Well... Because I'm blind... I can't really walk around in these crowded convention things... I'll get lost... And..." Kyler's voice trailed off. Tears began to roll down his soft, gentle cheeks, "I... I just get so scared..." Tui was overjoyed to see Edes again! But she noticed that her host was starting to cry, and she immediately continued stroking him.

Ooh!! This was horrible! No one should ever cry! Especially at something like a ball!
"Kyler.. Please don't cry.. I won't let you be alone tonight.." Edes gently laced his fingers with his dear friend's, leaning in to kiss his cheek.
"Would.. You like to dance with me?"

Pippin thought for a moment, about how he had really been. After a deep amount of consideration he finally spoke, "Really good! I've been super happy 'n stuff and nothin' bad's happened!" he said with a certain childlike bliss on his face. Only a kid could have such a good day, or week. They had so little drama it was like heaven.
The boy had looked over at his mother, but had seen she was speaking to Europa's daddy. He was perfectly fine when Europa was around too, he felt less of a need to cling to his mother. "This place is huuuuuge!" he said, looking around with wide eyes.
Celi giggled and blushed, flattered by his gentlemanly nature. Anthony had been so nice and charming with their last encounter, and it seemed that wasn't a one time thing. "This is rather nice. They certainly got the atmosphere across." the woman said while admiring the decorations.
