He wasn't planning on going far yet, he wasn't quite ready to try to be going home and he didn't ant to lose his way back to the place that he was staying currently. On top of that his back was giving him problems again so he meant only to take a small walk to get a breath of fresh air. He was appreciative to his friend Ciaran for allowing him to stay at his place, it was much nicer then where he had been staying before that. He didn't like either the shelter or the Labs but the latter of the two was one he would be going back to once he was feeling stronger...
He was walking down the side walk but always seemed to be keeping his brightly colored eyes on the names of the streets he walked by, he didn't want to get anymore lost then he currently was. He was grateful to Ciaran for that was well, the fact that his friend knew where the Labs were and said that he would bring him back when he was ready. Luthor gave a little sigh as he lifted a hand to run it through his nice, clean hair before one hand wrapped around him to clutch at his back as the muscles there gave a little spasm.
"Not now... I don't have anything with me." He muttered to himself, he didn't have any of those painkillers that helped with his back pains so he refused to let them slow him down now.

It seemed so strange to Edes to be outside by himself. Just a few days ago, he wasn't able to leave his father's sight, but now that he had grown, he had a bigger sense of what was safe and what was not. His father trusted him to take care, and now he was sitting down on his stoop, watching the cars drive by.
Before long, Edes was dozing off, his head leaning against the railings, comforted in the warm sunlight. Right before he was about to be out for good, he saw a flash of white, and opened his pale pink eyes wide. He vaguely remembered seeing such white hair before and sat up, streching. The boy before him seemed to be in pain..
"Are you okies?" He spoke softly, though not sure of the other could hear him. He stood up, walking calmly over to the familiar boy, tilting his head. "You cluch you back. Do you need to see doctor? Daddy's home, he can help uu, if you want!" He smiled, trying to help the other. "I.. I dink I remember uu.. But I'm not sure.."

Luthor jumped in surprised, looking back and forth a moment before he spotted the one that had been speaking. He titled his head to the side slightly before he squinted slightly. Did he... know him? It took him a moment for it to click as he recalled a visit with this one some time ago. What was his name again...
"E...des?" He guessed, as though he were half sure that the name was right but there was a small part of him that was a little uncertain. He forced a smile ebfore giving a nod, "I... yeah, I will be alright. Just need to get some pain killers when I get back to where I am staying." He tried to sound as reassuring as he could but there was a slight strain in his voice. The last thing that Luthor wanted was to worry this young boy, he'd rather have a nice talk with him.
"How have you been?" He asked to change the subject off himself.

Edes didn't believe him, and he wanted to go over and look over him himself, but knew that would be rude. He instead walked a little closer and smiled. "I's been fine, thank you! It looks wike we both grew up just a bit since da last time we met." Luthor was just as handsome as he had remembered, and a light blush dusted over his cheeks as he looked into those bright eyes. He had to turn his head away, for fear of turning into a cherry.
"I.. I'm not sure if.. You are alright.." He looked worriedly at the special spawn, holding out his hand. "Atleast.. Come inside to rest just for a little while, okies? Daddy can give you some medicine, and We can have a snack! Oh, it's almost lunch time! How about lunch?"

Lunch... that was a bit of a temptation, for some reason of late he felt as though his appetite was endless. It was a strange feeling to be hungry almost as often as he felt like he were in pain. He shifted back and forth on his feet before he gave a little nod of his head, "If it isn't to much trouble." He murmured finally. A little break in his walking would help as well?
He reached a hand out to take the one offered to him, "Thank you, Edes." It was quite kind of this boy to allow him to come in for rest when they had only met on one occasion. It meant a lot to him and he found himself half worrying if anyone ever found out who his 'demon parent' was that they wouldn't be near as nice to him. He shook his head as though to shove aside that thought, he didn't even want to think about it... instead he would think on more positive things.

"Wonderful wonderful!" Edes Exclaimed, leading the older boy into his house. Noel was in the kitchen making a lunch of chicken tenders and salad.
"Papa! Papa! Look! A fwiend! A fwiend!" The little sloth child squeaked, moving so that he stood beside Him, cuddling his arm. "His name is Luthor!"
After a moment, turning the stove off, Noel turned around, fearing the worse. Edes was far too kind for his own good, and he feared that he'd bring some stranger in, some deranged person. But his eyes rested on a rather handsome young boy, with the whitest hair he'd ever seen, and pretty blue eyes. With a raise of his hand, myst letters arose out of the air. Hello there. It's nice to meet you, Luthor.. That Name sounds familiar.. I suppose you're from the facility as well?

Luthor allowed himself to be led in by the smaller and rather excited boy with the interesting looking wings. He looked him over closely before he lifted his head to look at the other man standing there. He tilted his head to the side and gave him a smile, "Hello." He greeted him.
His blue eyes got quite wide as the words appeared in the air and he read them over. He blinked a couple times before nodding his head, "Ahh... yes, I am." He murmured, not sounding to terribly happy about the fact but he quickly put a smile back on his face to hide both his dislike of that place and his plain, "It is nice to meet you as well."

Noel raised an eyebrow at the child's reaction, just knowing something wasn't right. As a semi doctor himself, he began to recognized the little changes in expression very quickly, even if it had only changed for just a moment. However, the boy, Luthor, didn't seem to want to talk about it, so he wouldn't press further. He, much like his young ward, was a very kind man, and never questioned things unless harm was to come to his son.
"Daddy!! Luthor is hurt! He said he needs painkwiers!" Ah! So now a little made sense. Or atleast it did to him. Noel nodded, going to a shelf very high up and pulling down a bottle filled with white pills. They were a generic brand, but very strong. The regular dosage was two pills, but.. He didn't know how much he could give the boy without poisoning him. For now, he'd just give him on.
He poured a glass of grape juice and handed it to him, then the pill. I don't know how much of a dose you'd take, but a half a dose will have to do for now. His mist letters read again, then he pointed to the living room. Lunch is almost ready, so while I finish up, you both can go sit over there in the living room, alright?
"Okay, Daddy!" Edes squeaked once more, dragging Luthor away.

Luthor couldn't help but flush a bright pink as Edes announced to the man in front of them that he was hurt. He looked down at his feet for a moment, embarrassment clear on his features before he lifted it again slowly. He looked down at the pill that was handed to him, "Ahhh... thank you." He murmured, "Its very nice of you to be nice to someone you don't even know."
He tossed the pill into his mouth before taking the offered juice and used it to swallow down the little, white item. He then finished the rest of the juice due to finding that he rather liked the taste of it, "This is... really good." He murmured, starring into the cup in amazement. There were a lot of things in the world that Luthor had never seen before given how he'd grown up, this wonderful drink was another of those things.
He gave the man in front of him the glass back and another round of thanks before he was being led along once more by Edes.

Edes turned to look at his oldnew friend and noticed his cheeks flare up. "Oh.. Is Luthor sick? His cheeks are red.." He leaned in close, standing up on his tiptoes to press his forehead against the others. He stayed like that for a few moments before pulling away and shaking his head.
"No no no.. Luthor is fine. Maybe he needs to rest." He murmured very softly to himself, and further lead him into the living room. "We sit on couch and watch t.v.? Or maybe pway game? Does Luthor like Candy Land?"

Luthor gave a shake of his head, "Naw, not sick and I am sure that the pill that I took will help with the pains in my back so you don't have to worry." He tried to assure the other boy before he looked around the living room. It was such a nice room with a soft feeling to it, something that he was lacking back home at the Labs. He settled down on the couch before he turned to look over at Edes.
"Ahh... Candy Land?" He asked, sounding curious if a bit confused. He had never heard of such a thing like that so he found himself wondering about it, "What is a Candy Land? Is that store?" Perhaps it was a place that one went to buy sweets?

"Silly Luthor! CandyLand Ish a game!" A laugh that sounded like bells chiming left the little sloth/kindness hybrid and he toddled away, going to a shelf where he had to stand on tip toe to reach a brightly colored box.
Returning, he placed the box on the coffee table infront of his white haired companion. "You take a piece, draw a card, then move to that color on the board!! But you gotta start at start!"

Luthor couldn't help but to feel a little embarrassed, a game... so it was a game? He would have never guessed that given the name of it though he couldn't help but to be a little curious upon the premise of it and how it was played, "I see... I didn't get to play many games like that back... home." In fact the most fun he had was the rough and tumble games he played with Pepper. Just thinking about his friend who was still back at the Labs and none to happy with him for leaving him there he couldn't help but to give a little sigh.
He watched as Edes laid out he game and started to explain the rules and he forced his mind to think more on that instead of on the long list of things that were bothering him and weighing on his mind, "Sounds simple enough. I should be able to do that." He said after a moment, reaching over to pick up the blue piece, "Can I be this one? It is my favorite color." The color of his Daddy's eyes, always something that he'd like, and something that relaxed him to think about... though currently he found himself feeling a bit guilty given the last conversation he'd had with the guy.
He shook his head again to clear it, "Do you want to go first? To show me exactly how its done?"

Edes nodded, picking up the reddish piece. "Okay, Luthor, I'll show yous, so.. Uh.. Just watch, Kay?" He smiled, placing his piece on start, then taking Luthor's piece as well and placing it on the same spot. From a stack of card, he drew one and showed Luthor the card.
"See? It has a green.. Uh.. Square on it, right?" He explained, pointing to the closest green square on the board. "So uh.. den you move to dat one, the closest one. " He took his piece, and made it hop from square to squared, finally landing on the green square. "Eazy, right? So now it's your turn~!"

Luthor gave a nod of his head, "Ahhh, I see." He murmured, that sounded rather easy he thought to himself as he reached over to pick up a card and gave a smile as he held it up, "A blue card." He seemed quite delighted as he nudged his blue piece to stand on a blue square, that they matched and were both his favorite color made him a rather happy spawn.
He lifted his gaze to look up at Edes and nodded, "Alright, your turn." He said, feeling much better now that he was able to sit and rest, it would seem the pain pill he'd taken was helping quite a bit as well. The pain was easing to the point it was only a dull throb now, something that was easily ignored so he could play the game with his new friend.
