About Wynn Present Info: Friendly and cheery, Wynn's easily made comfortable and gets into things easily. You have to drag him from where he currently is, but once he's in the new location, he'll find something to do and get absorbed in it. He likes stuff and likes to play, but not always with good results. He's been known to forget to eat or sleep when playing or forget to eat or move when sleeping.

Family Reumiae: Daddy Reu is the big strong family man and keeps the family from falling apart. He's the support system for Jiang and Deimos, and tends to be the one who keeps Wynn from forgetting to do everything else Jiang: Mommy Jiang is Wynn's cuddly pretty motherly type. He's a bit scared and doesn't go out much, but Wynn likes him anyway Deimos: Deimos is his twin and while he doesn't always get why his brother is afraid, Wynn does care a lot for him and wants to keep him happy. Others -no one yet-

Arts Of WynnOfficial The cutesy set of items Reu and Jiang got, not suspecting a thing Wynn and his adorable brother, Deimos, as they first arrived Looks like Wynnieboy's grown, independent of (and later than) his brother! He's a lively child, for the most part, and easily made comfortable. Though, he's learned what fear and dislike are, he's still got a pleasant outlook on life. Unofficial-none yet-

Growth Response Becoming a parent very suddenly and very unexpectedly tends to be a little awkward. Reumiae tended to coax Jiang into a lot of things, which was already a bit of a complicated task. Now there were two toddlers in the house and having to keep them under control was probably going to require all the patience in the world. The one was dark skinned and chubby, and seemed terrified of.....well, just about everything. The second was bright pink and about as easy to content as his brother was hard to. After having to locate clothes for them, calm Jiang down a bit, calm the chubby boy down a bit, and keep them from going to bits, Reumiae had had to take a bit of time to himself. This...was probably going to be an utter nightmare. His head spun just thinking about it. But, resigning himself to the duty, he decided it was just better to keep going and try not to go nuts in the process. That wouldn't do anyone any good.

Wynn Learns Reumiae was not a teacher. He wasn't much of anything career-wise, really, as he was born into a large fortune and a position of power. However, if there was one thing he definitely wasn't, it was a teacher. His mate and Deimos required the patience of a saint to cope with some days, and Wynn could try his nerves alone. To deal with academic teaching was a nightmare to imagine. He'd been tutored for the majority of his childhood. His parents insisted on the best of teachers, and only the very best tutors got to come to his home and train him in what he “ought to know” to perform his future duties. Had he been a particularly vindictive child, Reumiae had the power to get his tutors beheaded should he complain to his mother about their teaching – for she was very fond of him. Thankfully, the boy had been kind, gentle and rather calm. Looking at Wynn now, he knew not even the most amazing tutor could master him. The boy didn't learn – not properly, anyway. Reumiae could sit him down and tell the ghost child all about how it was improper to do certain things, or tell him about history, but it would float in one ear and out the other. No, Wynn learned best from exploring and figuring things out. The man could guide, could answer questions if they were prompted, but unless his son showed an interest in the subject, it wouldn't be learned. Consequently, the toddler knew about different kinds of building structures, what bugs were made of, and why plants don't eat steak dinners, but he knew nothing about how to read. However, if Wynn was ever going to get anywhere, he was going to need to learn to read, and fast. It took a lot of long, hard consideration before the man came up with a plan. To teach Wynn to read – and just his alphabet – would take careful planning and actions. He couldn't let the boy know he was being pushed into learning this, and Reumiae couldn't prod for more than he was capable of. So, he began to set in motion the steps to get his son to learn on his own. No, Reumiae wasn't a teacher, but he could plan to make a target do what he wanted. It started with several books being left out. They were simple, featuring vibrantly colored pictures, and large, bold letters. The words in them were short and simple, leaving more to the images than the text. These were left on the kitchen table, as if Reumiae had mislaid them. The toddler's attention could easily be drawn to them when he was left in the room with nothing to look at while he had breakfast. So once Wynn was dragged out of bed, he was left in the kitchen with the books – his father had to claim he needed to work on something, and went to sit at a desk in a nearby room. Close enough to ask questions of, but far enough to leave Wynn bored. The boy took a bit to wake up. Wynn loved to sleep and getting up to do things took a lot of effort for him. He ate his oatmeal slowly before his eyes began to drift over towards the funny books. He'd seen books before – Daddy read them sometimes and Mama Jiang had told him once something about Deimos coming from a book. But, since they were usually being read to him, Wynn didn't often look at the words. Reaching out, the toddler opened the cover of the first book, slowly turning the pages and taking in the images of the letters and words. He stared at it for a little bit before poking the page and attempting to make the letter sound. Why was it in the beginning of all those word-pictures? He knew what an apple was but what was this shape? Eventually, the toddler floated into the next room to ask his dad. Reumiae told him in a distracted fashion that it was the letter “A” and the boy stared in wonderment, going back to try and figure out how this worked. The action was repeated for the next five or so letters before Wynn got bored and decided to dash out to play. Reumiae smiled. If he let it go on like this, the toddler would soon know all of his letters and numbers. And it wasn't more than a week or two before he did – though it did take some reminders now and then before he was perfect.

Meta Response It was warm, the sun outside melting any remaining frost off of the grass, and the wind deciding to not bite at people's exposed skin. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and there was very little work that needed to be done outside. Really, a great day for a kid to go out and play. So why was it that Reumiae had to half drag Wynn out from under his covers? The boy wasn't sick, wasn't scared, wasn't nocturnal, he just got comfortable with unbelievable ease. The man often had to pick the child up and carry him outside if he wanted the young one to even know what outside looked like. Wynn would pout and be disgruntled at being dragged outside but once he was there and left to his own devices, the tot soon found things to enjoy. The only problem with this was that Reu would have to drag the child back inside to make sure he ate. The man had let his son outside in the late morning hours, thinking he'd get a bit of enjoyment out of it. Wynn's brother, Deimos, was scared of everything and dragging him or Jiang outside wasn't the best of plans but Wynn could at least be let to enjoy himself in the sun since he could. But around lunchtime, the werewolf called for the genie boy and got no response. “Wynn?” he called again, looking around for the toddler and eventually spotting him seated on the grass sunning himself. “Come on Wynnie boy, let's go inside.” Reu laughed, kneeling to pick up the teddy bear boy and finding his hands passed right through the child. “What?” It was weird and this wasn't right. He said the child's name again, hoping to attract his attention once more, but stopped in the middle, spotting a large spot of pink under a tree. Dashing over that way, again, he reached down to tap the toddler and found him not there. What on earth was going on? Had someone taken his son and left replacements to trick him? But why? Especially since they left two very obvious ones. “Wynn!” Reu called much more firmly, hoping that if his son was in the area, he might hear it. “Daddy?” the small voice was heard a small ways away. The man dashed forward, half leaping up the tree the pink boy had climbed to see what was going on. “Wynn, what are you doing up here?” “Lookin at the bugs. Seeeee?” the pink boy said proudly, holding up one of the bugs he'd been looking at. “That's great but why are there three of you?” he said, staring in confusion. “Three?” Wynn leaned forward, looking out over the grass and seeing the other two. “Dunno. I was doin those things earlier but I stopped and they stayed.” “Riiiight. Well why don't we go fetch them and I take you inside for lunch?” “Yay! Can buggy come too?” “No.”
