Jiang was sleeping deeply with his arms wrapped around the soft, pink bear and the book that it was always holding in its arms aside from the times that he was reading through it. He seemed a bit protective of the two items strangely, keeping them both safe despite them being a stuffed animal and a book.

And what an interesting sort of book it was. One that had taught the Kirin a lot of things though at the same time it had also worried him a little as he'd learned from it about a list of possible phobias that he, himself had... the biggest one being his fear of leaving the house. He much preferred to just stay inside. The only times he did leave the house was when he was with Reu since the man kept him safe and assured at all time.

He rolled over in his sleep when Reumiae's warmth shifted so that he could get closer to him. A soft sound gave from his lips and after a long moment his eyes gave a flutter and opened as he was nudged. The kirin still seemed to be half asleep from the way he smiled up at the one he loved then let his eyes close again, "Mmm... warm." He murmured, his long ears giving a flutter. As warm and comfortable as he was feeling at the moment it seemed a bit hard for him to rouse himself.

Jiang slowly let his eyes open again, starring up at the larger male before he gave him a smile, "Hmmm? If what does?" He asked in a sleepy tone, wondering what was going on. He reached one hand out and pulled himself up with it, the other one still holding onto the two items. He looked back and forth as though expecting... something. Everything seemed just as peaceful in their place as normal though.

"What's going on?" He asked, ears turning slightly forward as though he were trying to catch the sound of whatever had Reu wanting him up.

The kirin's eyes widened ever so slightly at Reu's words before he gave a soft giggle, "Off about them? How?" He looked down at the two items in an unsure manner. Sure he felt the desire to keep an eye on them, seemed to carry them around a lot, and protected them but... did that make them off? Probably if anything it made him the strange one wanting to look after inanimate objects.

Said objects got a little hug from Jiang before he carefully lowered them to his lap so he and Reu could get a better look a them. He wasn't sure... he didn't feel what his lover felt... but then again he was a lot more worldly then Jiang was. The kirin knew it best to believe what Reu said, he wouldn't steer him astray after all.

A surprised, squealing sound escaped the lips of the rainbow colored Kirin before he was moving closer to Reu, clinging to him, and almost seeming to try to hide behind him. Jiang was easily startled and one could almost hear his rapidly racing heart beat as he hide against his lover... before ever so slowly he turned one ear toward where the colors had been swirling around. His ear flicked a couple times before he turned slightly to peek through one eye, "H-Huh...? W-What... what is... g-going on...?" He whispered.

The colors seemed to shimmer, shift, and break apart causing the pair to show themselves as being... what were those? Cute he thought to himself but didn't move as his muscles were still rather taunt and he was clinging tightly to his lover, "Reu...?"

"C-Children...?" He murmured, his grasp tightening a bit on Reu. Children...? What were children doing appearing from the book and the bear? What sort of strange items were they? Cursed? Blessed? Had that shop owner known? He didn't know... his ears leaned back and he gave a little squeak as Reu started to move causing him to move along with the larger male since he was holding onto him so tightly.

Jiang gave a bit of a nod at the mention that clothing was called for when it came to the odd looking, odd colored pair of children. He starred at them then looked at Reu... and found himself a bit frozen in place as though he were a deer trapped in headlights. He knew that he had to let go so that Reu would be able to help in the finding of the clothing and it took everything that the kirin had to do just that. A few deep breaths and a lot of mental reassuring later he finally eased his death grip on his much larger mate and lowered them to instead cling to the front of his robes.

Even though his hands were shaking a little he was rather impressed with himself for being able to do that, he would normally panic if something strange was happening and he couldn't have Reu as his security blanket or sorts, "A-All right, w-we should look f-for those." He said in a stuttery voice.
