The Introduction ?? and ?? were simply minding their own business, doing their own things in their separate lives. No where near each other.
Somehow, some way, this crazy orb that looks suspiciously like a giant bubble floats on over to you. No matter how you try to avoid it, no matter what you do to stay away (this is if you even try to stay away), it persistently follows you! One way or another, whether it was your doing or the bubble's doing, it pops on you!
Suddenly, you're somewhere else! Is it a dream? Hum, maybe. Hey, who is that other person there with you? Wait a minute...where the heck are you?!The Scenario You wake up in a room of an old, musty smelling house. It's the sort of house that you'd find in your nightmares; dark, dreary, covered in cobwebs and possessing a VERY creaky floor. To make matters worse, the lights have gone out completely! The only source of light is from lightning due to a raging storm outside. Luckily, there are a lot of windows! Unluckily, there also seems to be a lot of trees outside, and the lightning causes them to cast really spooky shadows over, well, everything.
There are voices in the room, but there isn't anyone in there with you! Is this place Haunted?! Probably.
A walkie talkie between you and your partner comes to life, with a deep and gruff man's voice echoing through the dark room. He tells you that he is a Detective and that you need to get out of there. Now. He tells you that he can take you home, but you need to get outside to find him. For one reason or another, he can't get into the house at all.
The windows are barred shut and the glass is too hard to break; besides, you seem to be on the fifth floor and there are four floors below you, including the main floor with the front door. The door that leads into the hallway of your current floor is easy enough to find, but it seems that the stairways are hidden behind doors, just like the regular rooms! There's no telling how many doors are in the hallway, but there is only one staircase to the next floor...and a myriad of things that seem to want to keep you here.
There are four staircases in total. The first three staircases lead to hallways that are seemingly identical; just one long hallway of closed doors. The last staircase takes you to the main floor, which also looks like some sort of wax museum; the wax figures range from human to monster! Creepy. Once on the main floor you have to find the doorway to escape, to meet up with the detective to take you home! But what's this? Once you get to the main floor, you are mysteriously split up! Oh no!
Don't get trapped by the ghosts!Rules and Dice Rolls Rules ---> Roll 1 20-sided dice with every post where you open a door to try and find the staircase. Try to stick together! ---> The first person to find the doorway leading outside HAS to wait for their partner to also find it before it'll unlock. ---> You don't have to wait for your partner to go to the next floor once you've found a staircase. ---> Once the front door unlocks, the RP ends. They'll 'wake up' in the place they were before the bubble popped on them. ---> This is a dream, but they will remember it clearly, just like they had met for real!
Dice Rolls Remember, this is 1 20-sided dice!
To Find the Staircase 1: Something invisible trips you and holds you down like it's sitting on you. You miss a dice-rolling turn while trying to get up. 2-9: The door you try is locked or jammed. Either way, it won't open! 10-15: Something shoves you into a room and tries its best to keep you there...luckily you manage to get out before it locks you in! You are still able to try another door...if you want. 16-19: Something tries its very best to keep you from opening this specific door. It might throw something at you, it might try to possess you or trip you...but you get away and find the door to the staircase! Once the door is open, it disappears and you and your partner may go to the next floor. 20: Find the Staircase no problem! Go down to the next floor with your partner in tow.
To Find the Front Door 1: A wax figure catches you! Miss one dice-rolling turn while trying to escape. 2-8: A wax figure tries to catch you! You have to get away from it! 9-14: A wax figure blocks your path! You need to find a new route around. It does not try to catch you, though. 15-19: You find the door while running from a wax figure. Once you're at the door, it stops trailing you and goes back to it's original space, yay! Wait for your partner before heading outside. 20: Find the door no problem! Wait for your partner before heading outside.
Tools at your disposal ---> Whatever you had on you when the bubble took you. ---> Anything you can find in an old hallway.

The sun was just starting to set when Victoria trudged into her room. As she yawned, she stretched- it had been a very long day. She ran her fingers through the hair that had fallen from her bun-like up-do. She crossed her room rather quickly and collapsed onto the stool in front of her vanity mirror.
As she started to take her hair down to get ready for bed she noticed something floating behind her. Her curiosity roused, she stopped what she was doing and looked over her shoulder.
Another BUBBLE... she still remembered the last BUBBLE! She, however, hadn't met up with the girl in her dreams. She wondered if that girl was waiting for her. However, it was that thought that caused her stand up and approach the bubble... She knew that it wasn't going to go away on its own.
The moment she touched it, it popped. Her world was spinning and suddenly she didn't know what was real and what wasn't. What she did know is that back in 'reality' she wasn't drunk and passed out somewhere on the floor.
As she opened her eyes she wished she hadn't touched that bubble so easily- willingly. This place was nasty and creepy... at least last time even if overly colorful it wasn't so classic horror.
Hearing a loud crack of thunder caused her to bolt into an upright position. The floor creaked. The room lit up with a flash of lightening.
Her breathing fastened and she scooted into the nearest corner. The corner didn't make her feel any better about the situation. "Alright silly just calm down. Be rational about this. There is nothing to be afraid of." She was on a roll for giving herself an out loud pep talk.

Wynn had been up, cleaning his father's hunting knife and listening to music on his mp3 player. His Dad wasn't particularly keen on the hip new teen things but he'd gotten it for his son and had purchased one for Deimos too - if he could find the boy. After being ungrounded, he went right back to his travels.
The bubble accosted him while he was seated at a desk and heavily distracted, so he barely had a few moments to look up and mouth 'whu?' before quite suddenly he was.......well in what looked like a dark and decrepit version of his house.
In the dark in front of Victoria, there was now a floating ghost like this with a strange humming sound emanating form it and a large knife in hand. Oh how nice. And it was staaaaaring at her.

Victoria had just about screamed the moment another figure appeared in the room- but quickly she swallowed it. She wasn't bout to give in or to show fear.
With in the next couple of seconds there was another flash of lightening reveling most the occupant in the room. If you could call it an occupant. She wasn't exactly sure if it was a person or a ghost. But what she did know is that what ever it was it was caring a pretty nasty looking hunting knife.
Something inside her snapped. It was the need to survive that drove her totally past her fears. "
Show your self," she said confidently. She was on her feet in seconds and crouching ready to spring- her daggers still hidden as she waited...
Not even the thunder outside was wavering her form.

Wynn jumped a bit as the person he'd been TRYING to get a good look at spoke. Shaking his head a bit, he looked at her in confusion - hey wasn't that the voice of the weird girl from the book shop? The one with the sister. "How do I do that? There aren't any lights in here are there?"
Wynn carefully re-sheathed his dad's knife and looked at her. "So um....where are we? I mean, this looks sorta like my house but it's usually not this creepy. My Mom wouldn't have it."

Tori knew that voice. Suddenly her mind was racing with thoughts, images, peoples voices, and all sorts of other stuff. Her thoughts finally landed on the day at the book store.
"Hello Wynn," Tori chuckled. "We are here of course..." she motioned to the space around them. Although she was happy to see a familiar face she could help but to be slightly sarcastic.
"That ******** bubble likes to play games..." she huffed. She still remembered the last 'game'. "So the question shouldn't be where are we. Instead it should be how the ******** do we get out." As dirty as her mouth was at the moment her body posture held an innocence to it.

"Uhhhhhhhh whatever." he mumbled, heading towards the door. Now he was starting to remember why he hadn't really liked that girl. Not that she'd been this rude before but whatever, right?
Suddenly, a gruff Detective started talking into a walkie talkie by them, causing Wynn's eyes to jump to it. "Ummmmmmm k." he repeated, continuing towards the door.

Victoria rolled her eyes when she heard the 'detective' confirm her theory of they just needed to find a way out.
"Seriously, grow a pair," she huffed and stormed past him. The adrenaline that flowed through her made her more brazen than was typical. She was acting anything but her lady like self.
She found herself in a very, very long hall. Either way she looked it didn't look like it was going to end. It was full of doors- one right after the other. There were no stairs...
"You have got to be kidding me," she growled and in one fluid motion spun in step to face Wynn. It was only for a second before she was again storming past him.
Despite how gross the place was she ran her hand across the dusty glass in hopes of getting a better look outside. Wow, they were way way up! Even if they were lower to the ground the windows were barred so there was no point in even attempting to break the glass.
"Get on that thing and get that man to talking... He obviously has to have some sort of idea on how to get us the ******** out of here... because there's no stairs in the hall. Just a bunch of doors, and we'll have no luck with the windows because we are to high up and they are barred," frustrated she sighed.

Was this girl just being bitchy for the sake of it or was she really that stupid. Wynn rolled his eyes and floated calmly in the other direction towards the doors. Seriously, had she never seen a staircase behind a flipping door? That's how one got to the attic in his house. And to the basement!
"This is why I don't like girls." he grumbled idly to the spirits growling and moaning about the place.
The spirit was apparently female and made a loud screeching sound at him, attempting to prevent him from opening the door. He gave it a dirty look and shoved past, eventually wrenching it open with brute force. And what did you know, a staircase!
Sadly for Victoria, she'd been a b***h to him so he wasn't going to bother calling her to tell her where it was.

When Tori got no response she looked over her shoulder. He was gone. Grr- stupid boys! It was a love hate thing for her. She stormed out of the room and back into the hall way. It didn't take but a second to find the door he had gone through... so that was the trick.
This was going to be a hell of a lot easier than she thought.
"You're gay aren't you?" Tori asked as she left the landing of the stairs. "You have to be or else you wouldn't leave a lady behind. Not to mention you act odd around me..."
Dammit another long hall full of doors. Well, if Wynn could do it so could she. She could find them a staircase behind a door!
She barely had the door open before it flung itself the rest of the way open. After loosing her footing and stumbling forward it slammed shut.
"s**t!" It was pitch dark.
Before she knew it she was knocked onto her back and drug towards heaven only knew. Her instructor had never taught her how to defend herself against something she couldn't see.
She kicked, she screamed, and some how she got lucky and got away. She scrambled towards the direction she believed to the door.
SMACK! ...at least she found the door.
Once out she slammed it shut and leaned against it. She huffed as she tried to catch her breath. "No stairs there..." she mumbled.

Wynn had tripped on his way down the stairs and was presently laying on his stomach looking around and watching her barely get out of a room she was going to be locked into.
"I wouldn't leave a LADY but you aren't one. You don't behave like anyone worth being called a lady." he replied, though he didn't bother answering her question.

"I can be quite the lady," Tori said chuckling as she watched Wynn struggle. "However, now isn't the time nor the place to put on the charm. Now is the time put up a good fight... and you seem to have that under control," she grinned.
As she brushed the fallen curls out of her face she stepped over Wynn. Sure she could have gone the other way but this was much more fun. She reached out for the door knob.
"Dammit what is it with this floor and its doors?"
She wiggled, she jiggled, she shook... she did just about everything to the door and its 'knob'. She even kicked the door and got nothing! The door was locked or jammed. Which ever it wasn't budging. She sighed.

About this time, whatever was sitting on Wynn got off to go bother Tori so he was able to float up once again. He'd conveniently ignored looking up her skirt and making a joke about a black hole.
"Maybe they just don't like you." he commented, looking around the hall a bit.

"I can handle the dislike," Tori said nonchalantly.
She decided to skip the next few doors and try the fourth one to the right of the one she had just tried.
It was unlocked! She attempted to push it open. Great it was jammed! So, much for that- she was really starting to miss her sister and her lucky streak.
"It's unlocked but it isn't budging," she sighed.

Wynn shrugged a bit, "Push harder or try another one?" that was about all they could do really. He wandered over to try another door - yep locked. "Or you could yell at the spirits but that's a take or leave bit."
