The Journey Begins (Ama, Lloyd, Soliel,Gina)The Past That Lead To The Present
Taken from the Dyvolio rp and edited to fit better.
"You wish to hear about my story? The past that lead to me now? Ok from the very beginning then."
"I've been raised alone all my life. My parents disappeared a long time ago, leaving me alone with my faithful companion Ferey. He's a white fox who's got a stick permanently lodged up his butt. He told me a story not long ago about my people."
"Sorry dear but I must take a pause to remember every detail for I wouldn't want to forget to tell you anything.......ah yes now I remember."
"The unicorn helixes were very proud helixes who followed their own hierarchy, my father and mother at the head of our large pack. The pack was envied by others for their beautiful coats, and horns and speed. There were two helixes especially who hated my people with a burning passion, a male and a female, both jealous of us as a whole, they were prejudice against us. Together they plotted our demise and finally set up an evil trap to ensnare all the single horned helixes."
"They rounded up three of the neighboring pack's pups, I believe Ferey said there were about 10 in all, slaughtering them in a horrible and disgraceful fashion, then called on my pack pretending to be parents of the dead pups and asking for my packs help. Hearing the horror my father lead the pack to the scene so that together they could hunt down and punish the murderer, leaving only my mother and a newborn born me, and the litter I was born in, at the den."
"Well the clearing where the murder took place was covered in blood, and since my family all had light coats, the blood soaked their fur the instant the blood touched it. Well while my family was investigating the scene of the crime the male went and told the packs of the dead pups that the Unicorn pack had slain the pups as a sacrifice to a Unicorn God who, he lied, was an ancestor of ours who killed off a weak newborn baby goddess pup, and now were recreating the event and killed off the neighboring pack's pups so that they would be the fastest most beautiful helixes in all the territories."
"Now the packs were suspicious of this male. The unicorn pack had never displayed hostility to these packs before so why should they decide to now? But the male assured them he was correct and offered to take the packs to the scene of the bloodbath. Leading them to the scene his partner in crime, the female beta, came to join them on their journey to the clearing repeating the lie the two had created and pretending she had never met the male before to make their story sound truer."
"When finally the scoundrels and the packs arrived, it was not a pretty site. My pack stood over the corpse's of the pups, covered in the innocent blood, their muzzles close to the bodies trying to sniff out the scent of the true murderers, but to the packs it looked as if they were eating the flesh of the dead."
"In an understandable, but false, rage the packs threw themselves at my brethren and my pack, severely outnumbered, fell one by one until they had all been slaughtered."
"So after this tragic event you would think the horror would have ended correct? Well you'd be sorely mistaken."
"Perhaps you remember the female in all this? She has a big part in this murderfest, but her part becomes larger in my life then just this. You see this female not only killed my pack but she betrayed them, for she, though not a horned helix, was a member of the pack."
"She hated my mother. More then any of the other horned helixes she eventually grew to despise. For you see, my mother was the purest and most beautiful female in all the pack and the packs joining and around ours. She was gifted and charming and had the voice of a siren. But that wasn't the only reason the female hated my mother, oh no. For the female had been in love with my father. They were lovers, and my father one day was going to become mates with the beta, until he laid eyes on my mother.
"As soon as he did so the other female was forgotten, left to her own jealousy and anguish, forced to watch her love and the woman he left her for become mates and then head of the pack, she had one day dreamed of leading. She left the pack never to return......until now."
"Well the female knew of me, my siblings, and my mother and wanted to cause my mother as much pain as she had been forced to go through, so pretending that her own pups had been killed during the murdering she suggested that the others get revenge on the rest of the unicorns, by killing off the remaining pups and then finishing off their mother. The pack, in their pain, anger and bloodlust, agreed.....all except one."
"She was a very kind and loving helix. An omega no less. And though she was distraught that her pups had died, she knew that my mother and my litter had not killed the pups, for we had not been there when the bodies were found. So being so used to lurking through the shadows to avoid detection, she took a shortcut and warned my mother."
"In her desperation my mother told the female to hide me and the others so that the other helixes would never find us. Luckily this wouldn't be too difficult for the omega for there were only three of us. The female agreed and taking us in her jaw, she ran off."
"In her haste she kept nearly dropping us and knew that this way the packs would catch up to the the four of us and kill us all. In her lack of time she had no choice and hid my siblings in a safe place, muttering a protective blessing that a wandering goddess just happened to hear and, taking pity on the small things, placed a protective shield over the place, though the omega noticed none of this."
"Hoping the pups wouldn't be found she continued to run but soon knew the packs would catch her eventually and so she decided she needed to dispose of me. Searching for some form of life she discovered Ferey, gave him my small furless form, and explained my story. She was about to tell him where my siblings were when the sound of the packs could be heard and she had to be off again."
"Darting off she led the packs away from the place she had left me, hoping the packs would follow her scent thinking she still had one of us, instead of discovering me. Thinking on his feet Ferey stowed me inside his den to disguise my smell."
"Now shall I tell you of the present?"
"Well as you can see I lived, but my siblings remain out there. I know they are safe, I feel it in everything that I am, but they are under the protection spell still. Though the spell is a gift, it being probably the only reason my siblings are still alive, it is also a curse.
My siblings have grown as normal helixes do but they have been placed in an endless sleep, to protect them from the reality they'll have to face but know nothing about. Now I must find them and get rid of the blessing, but there is only one way to do it."
"Sacrifice. Only the love of someone can break the spell but to do that will cost me my mind and sanity. For to bring them to reality I must give them my reality and take what they don't have. I will forfit my memory as well. All things I know, they'll know. All the helixes I've met they'll have met. My home will be their home. In a sense they will be me only with different feelings, habits and quirks."
"I'm allowing only one on my complete journey. I don't want others to witness me losing my mind, though help locating my siblings would be appreciated. The reason for the companion? So my journey will be remembered and my siblings can be led home. Because the rest I must do on my own, no one can take my place."
