Len nodded with a slight smile. "I see.. Some times courses are better ventured alone and others in numbers.." He looked into the sky, suddenly interested in the moon's and star's position tonight. His eyes eventually drifted to the horizon then Starla again. He flicked his tail, a slight breeze ruffled his chest and neck fur gently. "So I suppose you'll be tagging with me?" He smirked playfully. "Joy. A bratty little teenager, like I didn't get enough of that when I was one." He meant nothing but joking with Starla, hoping she took no offense.

"That is true. For a perve you sure seem wise....we'll see if you stay this wise." Hoping he got that that was her answer and that it was a yes she heard his jab.
"I may be a teen but I am as smart as any adult and what I lack in strength I make up for in wits unlike some pervs I know." Her own smirk was on her face she was going to enjoy being in a pack with this alpha.

Her rolled his eyes and slowly shook his head right and left. "What ever." He chuckled out loud and stood to his feet turning around. "Come on bag-o'hormones.." He called over his shoulder as he began walking under the moon light. It would still be hours before day break and they could probably fit in a midnight snack.

Standing and trotting up next to him she grinned. "I may be a bag of hormones but you were once one to....oh wait you're still a bag of hormones nevermind." Breaking into a run she broke ahead of him intent on having some fun.

Len stood still, perking his ears up but in seconds he was sprinting swiftly towards Starla. It didn't take much for a grown male to catch up to a adolescent female. In fact, he thought he was showing off and it made a slightly smug grin spread over his lips. "I was. Yes, though I would say I was anymore." He winked playfully at Starla as he trotted circles around her, chuckling.

She knew he would catch up to her but she had no idea that he would catch up that fast. "Do a sense a tease inside my alpha?" She laughed as she watched him circle her. "So where shall we go and do you have any other Helixes in mind to join our pack?"

"A few.." He brought his proud trot down to a stand still. "I have a 'brother' up near the borders of the eastern territory.. He's a nomad but he told me that if I ever brought a pack together, he would help me out.." Len was serious now, trying to figure out if Ark was still that way towards him or if he was angry for Len not visiting him in about a year.

"Hmmm anyone else?" Trying to figure out if Warren was in a pack or not she wondered if he'd like to join them......he would make things interesting and would keep her on her toes. Aura was already in a pack so that wouldn't work but she would have kept Starla on her toes. Oh well who knows maybe they'd run into a helix her age or maybe even a pup that would be interesting.

Len wasn't to sure of the violet and black female he'd spent a night with so he wasn't going to mention her. He just continued on in thought for a few minutes before answering Starla. "Not particularly.." He walked a slow pace along a dirt like trail through the tree's. The bubble of a small stream near by. A nice place for prey.

"Very well then." She didn't understand the hesitation in his voice but she ignored it for the time being. He would tell her if he wished to. Besides she suddenly picked up on the scents of a few animals. Sniffing the ground she discovered it to be a family of rabbits maybe even a deer far in the distance. She would let her leader decide on what they would hunt for it was his decision.

Len remained silent, keeping his foot steps light. With Starla being a previous loner, she probably knew it wasn't because he wasn't interested in there conversation, but that it would disrupt prey. He caught a glance of her sniffing and took a light wiff of the air. There was indeed several creatures to make good for prey. Normally Len would of took the easier route and went for a rabbit but one, he hadn't eaten in a couple days, two, it would have to fill both Starla and himself. Deciding to take down a deer, he periodically smelt of the air, following along the scent of a male buck. It was getting stronger by the minute. Finally Len peered around a shrub and there it stood, twenty to thirty feet away. Len glanced done to Starla and shot he eyes at the deer to show her.

Following Len she tread lightly in his footsteps. She had done her job of helping locate the prey now they would take it down. Following his eyes she saw the buck ahead of her. Looking back at him she twitched her head slightly to show she saw the deer.
Crouching low she was as excited as could be. Never had Starla taken down such big prey but she would follow her leader. Waiting for his signal to attack she waited patiently.

Len shook his head to the left, motioning Starla to start her way around to ambush the deer towards him. She should try and wound him on the way towards Len's awaiting fangs were he would initiate the final blow to the throat. His tail arched and he slunk into a dark shrub. The only thing to light the deers trail was the pale moonlight that didn't quite shine against his dark coat.

Nodding to show she understood she cirlced around. Being careful that the buck didn't pick up on her scent she moved swiftly and gracefully. Seeing the front of the deer she stopped and stood as still as a statue. Twitching her tail up so Len would see where she was she waited for a few seconds more so she could decide where the best place to attack and steer the buck toward Len would be.
