Wandering into the Neutral territory Tsuki looked around in disgust. They called this a territory? How pathetic. It was so easy to find food and it took no work, no strength, no smarts. Truly pathetic. He has wandered to the area to familiarize himself with other territories after all it was never good to not know one's surroundings he wasn't planning on being outsmarted in any area and certainly not by these weaklings who didn't have to do anything to get food. Sneering he watched as a rabbit hopped by obviously not picking up on his scent. "This is a waste of my time."(I'm just pretending there's no Tringinta Tres during this Rp)

In the shade under a nearby tree, a narrowed emerald green eye watched the other pup cautiously. The odd-looking, multi-tailed pup seemed to be completely oblivious and napping the hottest part of the day away. True, she was enjoying the sunlight and warmth...but she was far from asleep.
Safe territory or no, she never let herself relax in a strange area. Afterall, she was a lone pup with no one to watch over her. Not that she wanted it. She was just bright enough to know that she needed to be more cautious than the next.
She tended to draw more attention than she wanted in most situations already.
Finally, the pup silently raised her head, eyes opening and blinking in the sunlight that filtered through the overhead foliage. Giving a couple of her tails a light flick, she quietly surveyed this stranger, wondering what business he had...and how long it would take for him to notice her.

Growling Tsuki snapped at the rabbit startling it and causing it to run. Feeling the urge to case after it he was about to take off when he noticed a figure laying in the shade. Pretending not to notice her he pretended to walk away only to go behind the tree and bite down on one of the many tails that were flicking back and forth.

Her eyes tracked the strange pup, then she switched her attention to her ears when he left her sight. Even if he hadn't done anything yet, better to treat a stranger as if he has in order not to be taken by surprise.
And yet, still he managed to get a jump on her somehow. The first unnatural movement against her tails was enough to startle her. Lucky for her, as fluffy as her tails were, he ought to get a mouthful of fur for his efforts and nothing more, but in her mind, it was still an attack.
Most pups would have squeaked and gone scrambling for their mommies.
Samantha wasn't most pups. Nor, did she have a mommy.
Snarling viciously, or as viciously as a pup can manage, she whirled on the stranger with teeth and claws bared. She may be young and her weapons small, but she was pissed and intent on doing some damage.

Hearing her turn ready to attack Tsuki smirked. A battle now that was something fun! Finally this territory offered him a challenge! Growling he braced himself and took in this helix.
Sniffing the air he noted that it was a she. Green eyes glared at him from the cream body and a tag hung from around her neck how weird. He hadn't met someone who looks so strange as this female but he wouldn't underestimate her. He never underestimated his opponent.

'What the hell is wrong with you, you psycho?!?' she spat venomously through her fangs, setting her stone pendant swinging around her neck. It nearly brushed the ground, as she was crouched low, ready to fight.
'Do you frequently wander into unfamiliar territory and pick fights with strangers? Surprised you've lived this long...unless Mommy's always chasing after to save you?' She flashed him a cocky smirk while keeping up her tirade. Honestly, she was just trying to throw him off, all while sizing him up herself.
An angry enemy was a careless enemy.

"Hn nothing is wrong with me is there something wrong with you?" Rolling his eyes he realized he was fighting someone much lower then him. Standing straight on all his legs he sat down and turned his head to the side making sure to keep his eyes on the female. Not letting his guard down.
"And besides you were the one spying on me. I don't need my mother to do anything for me. All my fights I fight myself she only gets in my way. I would leave to be on my own but I need to protect her she gets so spacey when she sleeps.

'Only the company I keep,' she replied in a sugary-sweet voice, batting her eyes. Geez, what an obnoxious creep. She adjusted her position as if he posed no threat to her at all, senses on alert at all times.
'Besides, 'spying' implies that I sought you out just to stare at you. That's dumb. I was already here before you, genius. Not my fault you were wandering around lost.' She shrugged, waving one paw in the air dismissively. This was a waste of time and energy. She'd been having a very nice day before this.
Planting her paw firmly in the dirt again, she turned a glare on the other pup. 'Look...is there a point to all this, or can I resume ignoring you and take a nap?'

"Ah the fake sweetness trick impressive but in order for it to work you must keep up the act." Gritting his teeth he realized that sadly she was correct.
"I was insanely bored. This territory offers no challenge to me and since I saw you I figured that attacking you would offer myself something of a challenge. Sadly I was mistaken since all we've been doing is talking." He hated talking, it got people no where. Action. Now that was something. Actions truly speak louder then words.
Sighing Tsuki gave up his mean role. "A point? Fine I'll give you a reason to be rid of me. Are you familiar with this or any other territories? I'm trying to know all the tricks and helpful tips I can about each and every one." Gagging at himself he realized that entire thing had been in a normal inquisitive voice with no malice, anger, sarcasm or the like somewhere within.

'That's just stupid,' Samantha responded bluntly. 'You keep that up, someone someday is gonna' eat you and be done with it.' She raised an eyebrow with amusement, not letting the other goad her into fighting. Not worth it anyway, as there was nothing to gain and only a waste of energy in the long run.
Oh, but now, this was interesting!
'Oh really?' She grinned slyly, head tilting in faux curiosity. 'And why would you need to know all that? Have some devious plans in mind? I suppose, there's a better question I should pose. If I did happen to know something...what would you be offering in return for my knowledge?'
Okay, yes...she could be irritating as well.
...but it was fun.

"Ha! They have to enjoy bitter and cold things to want to eat me. I'm to hard." Grinning wickedly he gazed at her. She seemed just as devious as him and that was saying something.
"For future reasons. I take percautions. If any enemy helixes were to try to attack I would have the advantage over them. Also it would help with catching prey." Thinking on it he wondered what would he give her for this information. "What do you ask for it? I could offer a favor for the future if it ever came down for it?" Never give another an advantage over what you will offer them. They may ask for to much.
She was more intelligent then most helixes. He had to give her that.

'True enough, she responded almost automatically. 'You'd probably be all tough and stringy anyway.' Yeah, still sarcastic...but without the sting of her remarks earlier. Almost as if she were...teasing now...
'Hmm...knowledge is always good to have, that is true. However, what's to say that I'll never see you again after this lovely meeting today? That would leave me with nothing in return for the information I might provide you with. I don't like leaving others to owe me things.' She grinned deviously, head cocked slightly as she watched the other pup. Been a while since she'd found someone to talk to...let alone that would offer her this sort of amusing exchange of banter.
'How about an equivalent exchange? I'm not fond of the cold of the North...but that doesn't mean that I should be ignorant of the land. You tell me about your home in the north and I'll tell you about mine in the south. And maybe even a little about the territory we're currently inhabiting. Sound like a fair exchange of information?' She stretched a bit, then laid down and folded her paws over one another, tails curling comfortably around herself.

This female intrigued him. Yes an equivalent exchange did not sound like a completely terrible idea.....he would acquire his information in a quick and easy way. Since she would also be receiving information she would stay formal and serious. The kind of emotions he enjoyed. This also would assure that nothing was being held over his head like that of a rabbit carcass dangling from a tree branch.
"Very well then. It's agreed. You tell me of your land and I'll tell you of mine. Do you wish for me to speak first on the territory since you seem to trust me so little?" He didn't understand why she thought he was so pathetic as to not keep his promise. He may be a cold helix but he kept his promises. His sister could vouch for him there.
"As for that that stringy and tough comment. It's true. My tough muscles would be difficult to rip through but stringy I am not. Although eating you would be much more difficult. Far too much fur. One look at you and any predator you go running they'd think 'she doesn't even look appetizing!' Besides you taste quite nasty. I would know." Smirking he teased her. He had nothing against females. No they had done nothing to him and he had grown up surrounded by them after all. Plus they bore pups for future generations. It was the males that deserved hostility and cruelty. They were nothing but heartless killers. Just as he was.

Samantha chuckled softly and shook her head. 'Perhaps just not suited to your Northern tastes. However, I like my fur as it is. If it deters foes, then all the better for me, no?' With that, she flicked her tails with a cheeky grin.
'I'm afraid you misinterpreted my meaning earlier. I did not imply that I didn't trust you.' Not that she did. Why would she trust a complete stranger whose first action was to attack her then ask for information? Still, that wasn't the sort of thing one shared openly in conversation. One should be polite while keeping private thoughts exactly that. Private.
'I only meant that there's no guarantee that our paths would cross again. It was chance that we met at all today, as this is home to neither of us. Fate is a fickle mistress and who knows what the future holds. By no fault of either of us, perhaps we'd never meet again. Perhaps we will. Who knows.'
She smiled mysteriously, tilting her head slightly. 'That in mind, would you like to start, or would you prefer that I do? Doesn't matter to me in the slightest.'

"You are a most intriguing female. Never have I met a female like you." It was true. Tempest was almost exactly like him only in female form and his mother was far to protective. That was all he knew of females but this one was different then what he expected not that he expected much to begin with.
"Well the north is a cold, barren wasteland. It is all snow and ice. It has very few vegetation which means hardly any prey. What we have is scarce and it takes the strongest, smartest and fastest to survive. Although everything is tough it forces you to become the best you can be. The snow, though cold, is an excellent cover if you wish to hide or are planning on a surprise attack."
Thinking about all this he nodded satisfied. "If you wish to know more I could very well add to it but that should be good for now.It is your turn I do believe."
