Spotlight Soq!! None at present Peer pressure is just cruel *weeps*
No really, it was time I made one of these anyways, too many thoughts about my Soquili's and their storylines, so I need somewhere to collect them.
Of course, when it comes to actually typing this all out, I'll probably have forgotten half of what I thought up XD
Anyways, a few rule-dealys.
1) Post all requests and questions, and plottings here, unless I request a PM. At some point Gaia is going to remove those extra huge inbox spaces, and I'm going to be at full capacity again XD
2) Be active. If you request roleplay or want to get into a plot with one of mine, don't vanish after a few posts (of course if you have a RL emergency I will obviously understand - poor attention spans I won't)
3) Please understand that I won't want to roleplay with everyone, if I don't think mine will mesh well with yours, I will politely decline. It isn't a slight, I just would prefer roleplay that might actually lead to something good - even if it is the making of mortal enemies!

Personality/History:
Ardia is a loving mother, and a great-great grandmother. She has a nuturing personality, and wishes the best for all her children. She is lifemated to Sheridan, and their family line is now very large.
Ardia and Sheridan's relationship was whirlwind at first, they fell for each other very fast and Ardia found herself pregnant fairly soon with her first three foals. They grew into strong adults, and Ardia became settled as mate and mother.
After the birth of their second children (four), there became a distance between Sheridan and Ardia and she hasn't seem him for some time. Because of this Ardia is feeling a little bereft, and is trying to hide her own relationship troubles by becoming more involved in the lives of all her children, grand-children etc
Ardia tries to be helpful as much as possible, despite her current insecurities that she has been pushed aside for a younger model!
Plots:
I have a few ideas for Ardia;
I would like her to have a mild flirtation with a younger stallion, just a flirtation though as I'm hoping that I can snag Shariea for lots of roleplay with her lifemate Sheridan heh.
The flirtation would just help her stop feeling like an overlooked old nag who has served her purpose in having children and just been left on the wayside.
Ardia can be a fairly competent 'midwife'. She's given birth to seven children herself over the years, and has helped another mare, Aishwarya, through her labour, and she would happily talk to and coach other pregnant mares.
I'm looking for Ardia to meet up with EVERYONE in ther family line. So if you own a Soquili that can trace it's roots back to Sheridan and her, drop a line here for roleplay

Personality/History:
Izusa was the first Kalona, and as such has had a difficult time growing up.
She had no one to guide her as to how she should act, nor teach her how to hunt so for a time she lived as a normal Soquili did, but with a bit more spite to her. Which as a filly was limited to tricking other nicer Soquili's or stealing food from the Villagers.
When she grew up she became a little more vicious, finally starting to hunt occasionally but was drifting into madness as she was unsure of herself and her place in the world. She didn't know or understand her feelings, her nature and went off into solitude, taking herself away from everyone until she happened upon Guilian.
Because of her mental state, she allowed herself to be seduced by the winged Casanova, which resulted in three tainted children, which she has no contact with today.
Izusa drifted further into herself after Guilian made it known that he wasn't interested in a relationship with her, and she developed a deep hatred for him, which led to her trying to poison her children's relationships with their father.
During this time she was only visited by her daughter Neve, which ended badly after Izusa's mind finally snapped into place and she realised that whilst she might never be the perfect Kalona, she would be the perfect predator.
She attacked her daughter and went out into the world again with a purpose.
Back in the world she met Taraxippus, a shadow-unicorn with a taste for blood that matched her own. It was a meeting of darkness, which resulted in three strange children that she hopes will be as vicious as their parents.
Plots:
I'm looking for Izusa to meet more Kalonas. I would actually like her to meet a hardcore Kalona who she'll fight with (I'm thinking of a no lethal blows fight, randomiser or dice to sort out the actual fight for fairness sakes)
I'd like Izusa to meet more of her family, so if you have a Soquili remotely related to her, and would like them to meet her, post here =)
I would love for Izusa to coach foals in the art of hunting, so if you have a half-kalona or similar that has a taste for blood but is clumsy in that regards then this plot is for you!
Izusa is now semi-mated to Taraxippus

Personality/Background:
Dory is a sweet mare, but suffers from her short term memory, as a result she often doesn't remember those she's met, where she is going or even the names of her children on occasion!
Dory likes the sea, likes to stand on the beach and watch the waves because the sea is always the same, and she doesn't feel that she is forgetting something when she is standing by it. She likes to collect shells, and then discard the collection to start again. Dory loves to race, and has a good turn of speed on her.
Dory was once lifemated, and has an echo in her heart of what it was like to be loved. When she remembers that feeling she becomes slightly down, but on the whole she is cheery.
Plots:
Dory would love to see her children, or her grandchildren, and catch up with them, so if you own one of her family please let me know if you want to roleplay!
Dory is looking for a loving mate, someone who won't mind her bad memory, and will stay faithful to her for life. So the stallion would have to be cheery like her, with patience. - UPDATE RP has stalled, looking for more stallions as potential mates.
Dory would like more friends, female friends mostly because she really is only close to Ardia. Maybe someone that is a mother like her, or someone young who likes to be energetic and race with her.

Meena is one of Ardia's eldest daughters, but hasn't had the luck of Kitara in relationships. She can be very cheerful, likes to joke around and tease but at the moment she is in a bit of a funk because she thought she'd found somebody she liked but they haven't seen each other for ages.
Meena wants to be like her mother very much, she has in her mind that she should find the perfect stallion, settle down with him and be the contented mother, but is finding it more difficult to get that then she thought it would be.
Plots:
I would like Meena to have female friends, she only really knows her mother and her immediate family. She would get on with pretty much any type of mare because she doesn't have any beef with mares XD
Meena has hopefully found a stallion that will eventually be her mate. Still looking for a nice chatty male that will be just a friend and explain to her all the things about guys she doesn't understand.
I would like Meena to meet some of the more exotic Soquili's; kelpies, Mers, Usdias and a Kalona or two. She is a little blinkered in her world view because she is a homebody.

Personality/Background:
Swafi Jr is what is known as a nice young man. The sort most mothers would probably love their daughters to bring home! But Swafi Jr is quite shy around females, and is happier talking to other males because that way he thinks if he says something foolish they won't be judging him too much.
Swafi Jr is attached to his mother, not in a 'need to cut the apron strings' way, but he worries about her, and makes sure to visit his mother as often as he can.
Swafi often worries that one day he might lose his good memory and intelligence and become like his mother. He also worries that he might wind up doing what his father did and leaving any mare that he made a relationship with.
Swafi is happy doing most things, and will pretty much go along with the flow and with the crowd.
Plots:
I'm looking for a mate for Swafi Jr. He isn't prejudiced about race, so half-breeds etc would be all fine. Maybe slightly feisty, or fiery mare to break him out of his shell? - edit: Swafi Jr has possibly found a mate - will be updated as rp progresses
Also looking for friends for him, males for him to maybe get into trouble with? Have some fun basically XD
Females for balance, to help him get used to being around them.

Aishwarya is an exotic beauty with a good head on her shoulders. Fiercely loyal to her mate Shikoba, she'd never have her head turned by any other stallion.
Proud of her two beautiful children, she has a wish to travel with Shikoba before they have more, but hasn't expressed her wish to him yet as she isn't sure if he would want to do so.
Aishwarya arrived in the area a while before meeting her now lifemate, planning on staying only briefly before moving on again. She took a chance on getting to know Shikoba, and decided to stay, leaving her old herd far behind. She longs to have the sort of friendship with another mare that she left behind, to be able to share secrets and talk long of life, and hopes etc
Aishwarya judges deeds, not appearances.
Plots:
Aishwarya is looking for friends mostly. Male or female, old or young, doesn't matter the race either.
I would like her to maybe join a strong herd, she has a sharp mind, and is plain spoken so would be a good one for young Soquili's to go to for advice.

Neve is a fighter, a strong mare. She wasn't always so, she thought that she was meant to be beholden to her mother Izusa, and that she should be like her. She even tried to hunt and eat meat as her mother does, but found she wasn't bloodthirsty enough to do so.
She can still be quite sharp at times, and sarcastic but on the whole she has lost what cruelty she did have because of two things; meeting Marius, and being attacked by her mother.
She realised how vicious her mother was to her, despite Neve being the only one that stood with her when her father left Izusa. She knows that if her mother finds out about the fact that she's had children not once, but twice with a grounded, Izusa would wreak bloody havoc.
Plots:
I'm looking for friends for Neve, others like her of half Kalona lineage that know what it's like to have a killer parent but not be like that themselves.
I'm thinking that Neve should join a strong, warrior like herd. She knows that her children carry a measure of Kalona in them, but she would hope they would never all under it's influence and hurt others for fun or food. Joining a herd that is against all that they are about might help her and give her support as she raises her children.
And of course if anyone has any plots of their own that they think she could help in, feel free to request roleplay with her.

Adrienne is a cheerful mare, likes to joke around and chat with other Soquilis. She likes to travel, nearly always on the move except when she is visiting with her mother Ardia, and her closest sister Meena.
Adrienne loves that she is part of such a large family, but she is feeling pressure, she gets the sense her mother would be happier if she was partnered off with a family, and she often wonders what is wrong with her in that she hasn't found that yet.
She knows that having children isn't the be all and end all, but she often thought that it would be nice to experience what it's like to be a mother, provided she didn't mess up any children she has in the process!
Plots:
Adrienne is actively looking for a mate; she would get on well with an older stallion as she likes the maturity and wisdom of age, coupled with the ability to make fun of oneself. Sense of humour.
She doesn't mind if the stallion has been mated/had family before, she is looking for good companionship more than anything. (update: is possible heading for a relationship with Kale)
Adrienne needs to meet someone really evil, a nice scare to get her adrenaline going XD
Adrienne could use some girlfriends! The only female friends she has are her mother and sister Meena.

Background/Personality:
Nivriti is a free spirit; enjoys life but is not too outgoing. She gets her level head from her mother Aishwarya, and happily bears the wings of her father Shikoba.
Nivriti is currently stepping out with Althalus, has gone to his birthlands and will soon be meeting his parents. She found herself falling heavily for the stallion, but still can't quite believe that she was lucky enough to find someone like her who felt love for her in return.
She suffers slightly from insecurity, more than she thought possible, but the feelings have only really surfaced since she met Althalus. She is also prone to jealousy.
Nivriti loves to fly, and to perform aerial acrobatics. Her latest successfully performed trick is to fly low over the main lake, and skim the water's surface with her pinion feathers.
Plots:
I would quite like Nivriti to join or by allied with a Wind herd, she pretty much spends her whole time on the wing ever since she learned to fly well.
Nivriti needs female friends.
And she is open for any plots anyone might think she would be good for.

Background/Personality:
Maharet is a big bundle of nerves most of the time. Neve told her children about their grandmother to warn them into being cautious when they ventured out into the world on their own and unfortunately her daughter took it to the extreme and is terrified of running into her grandmother or any Soquili that looks remotely Kalona-like.
She is even slightly afraid of her own brother Belial because of his Kalona wings! She is attached to her mother and father, doesn't stray far from the family home lands and would be a strong fixture in her new sibling's lives.
Maharet does like meeting people if they can get past her first reactions of hiding behind her wings in fright, and does get on with Soquili easily if they don't look anything Kalona-like.
Plots:
Okay, I have a mean idea, I'd quite like her to be stalked by a Kalona/Half-Kalona for a while. Not actually attacked, but just follow her around and let her catch glimpses. Maybe even leave bloodied corpses near where she lives.
The half-Kalona would ideally have to have visible Kalona traits
Maharet needs more friends, maybe an Usdia? Or anyone that is non frightening with a patient/placid temprament
I would eventually like Maharet to find somebody; her Knight in shining armour that wouldn't mind a damsel in almost permanent distress!

Personality/Background:
Sevati is the child of two happy-go-lucky flutters who are part of a distant herd, far from the Kawani Village and surrounding areas. She travelled during the spring months, drifting on the wind until she came to the area, and is hoping to make new and exotic friends.
Sevati loves life, she is everything joyful and sparkly, and enjoys laughter and games. She is a little flighty, and probably isn't the most dependable Soquili, but her heart is in the right place. She likes all things pretty and bright.
Plots:
Meeting as many flutters as possible. Sevati likes to think that all of her kind are sparkly and sweet, so it would be nice for her to meet flutters of all temprements.
I'd like Sevati to meet a few evil/nasty Soquili. Give her a challenge to her sparkly personality XD

Personality/Background:
Shinoma is currently the most favoured of all Izusa's children; a real chip off the old vicious block, Shinoma may turn out to be more nasty and predatory than her mother!
Shinoma loves to hunt, and has had the taste for blood since her mother introduced her to fresh, warm meat. She is cruel, and likes to tease and prey on other's weaknesses. She is attracted to the aura of menace and power, and is pretty fearless.
She is very arrogant though, putting a lot of stock in the fact that she looks quite scary, and this might lead to some confrontations with others that actually have the power and ferocity that she hopes to be when a grown mare.
Plots:
Shinoma is now a nasty mare, and I'm looking into plots for her as regards to breeding. I'm torn as to whether to have her mate with someone - for her to 'settle down' her mate would have to not necessarily be a pure or even a Kalona but he would have to be vicious, a proper predator. He could be weaker minded then her, which would suit, or they could be equals the way her mother and her father are, but he must, must be a predatory type.
If she didn't go down that route she would probably have flings, but they would again all have to be like herself.
Shinoma wants to meet all the mean, vicious, killer Soquili that she can. She is a little fangirl of those types, and wants to learn from all the best that she can.
Shinoma will start preying on familiars. I am going to have her actually attack on of my own, but if you have a familiar that you wouldn't mind being stalked and/or mildly injured by her, please post! twisted

Personality/Background:
Marut comes from a large family, on her mother and father's side. Her Grandmother is the Kalona Izusa, and whilst Marut doesn't show any outward traits of that heritage, she is very aware that somewhere inside her is demon blood, though she doesn't worry overly about that fact.
Marut is a boys name, her mother named her just after giving birth, and as Neve was still half delirious from pain, she thought her daughter was a third son, and so named 'him' then and there. Only when Marut emerged from her basket did her mother realise the mistake and by then it was too late; Marut had stuck.
The mare lives up to her name, she doesn't care a great deal about her appearance, despite being told she is pretty she really doesn't believe it. She loves her brothers, and gets on with them both, despite them hating each other. She likes to go on long treks, get dirty and spar with her brothers, and much prefers the company of males.
Marut is protective of her older sister Maharet, and tries to give her advice on how to be braver than she is.
Plots:
Because this family line is very important to me I want Marut to eventually find a mate and have children. However, the stallion she eventually winds up with will have to be a very good friend first, and will be one of many male friends that she makes.
So what I'm asking is that if you think your stallion would make a good mate for her we'll do a roleplay, and then discuss their relationship afterwards. If we don't think they'll mesh that way, then he'll just be a good friend. And so on until she meets the only right one ^_^
I'm not particularly picky about looks OR race, but I don't want a complete colour clash whee edit: Hopefully Marut has finally met her mate in Raniero so this is closed for now, and hopefully I'll be able to edit this out soon <3
Marut needs to meet a full-blooded Kalona, I'd like her to form her own impressions on the race before she meets her mother.
I'd like Marut to have one firm female friend. They could be polar opposites in personalities but I want her to have someone she can to for advice etc as she wouldn't really confide in her mother too much about romance stuff, and isn't quite boyish enough to talk to her father either!
Family rp. There is a large tree behind both her mother and her father, so if you own anyone related to her, I'd be happy for her to meet them.

Vatsa grew up in a mostly sheltered way, his mother, Sohalia, is intensely private and guarded so she didn't want her children to meet many others before they were old enough to handle themselves in a social situation.
Vatsa grew up wanting to meet pretty everyone, and to get to know Soquili, and to share about himself.
He is an affectionate stallion, possibly a little too much, and will be prone to expressing his feelings after only knowing someone a short space of time.
He's not very knowledgable about being a Unicorn, and isn't aware that he might have some healing abilities, his mother having her own reasons for not letting him know about that.
Plots:
Vatsa needs to be taught about what it means to be unicorn, and the healing ability that they have. So if he could meet an older Unicorn that would be great
I'd like him to have some male friends

Update - Vatsa is looking for a mate/lifemate. I decided against a series of flings, and instead he'll be looking for a mare that is secure enough in their eventual relationship not to mind that he is tactile and flirty with virtually everyone he meets. edit: He has possibly found someone that will fit the bill so for now this plot is closed to new players. If it doesn't work out I will open it up again
Ripley
Status: Single
Personality:
Ripley is a tough old b***h, who values courage in the face of extreme circumstances beyond anything. She is athletic with a high amount of stamina, and strength, though she is prone to bursts of violence and high emotion.
Ripley feels a certain amount of kinship with the more 'alien' like Soquili, being part Soquili & part mutant (this is to replace the fact that the film Ripley clone had both human & xenomorph DNA in her, Ripley Soquili has no visible traits other than her metallic grey hooves, and her ability to sense if someone is other than a normal Soquili).
Despite feeling this kinship, she will also attack and kill if she feels that either herself or someone close to her is in danger.
Plots:
Meeting Kalona/Skinwalker/Mutant Soquili's. Ripley will not be afraid of them, and I'd just to see how she initially responds XD
I'd like Ripley to have a couple of close friends. They can be any sort of Soquili, male or female but must be intelligent and capable in their own right.
Ripley will in all likelihood not be mating. But I have in mind one single coupling as a sort of comfort thing because she does have emotional and physical needs, and she feels that there is small gap where a child should be in her life.

Personality/Background:
Kodah is still very much a character in progress, and ICly is still a colt. He is full of fire, a proper fighting spirit but headstrong with it, will be likely to stumble into situations that might overwhelm him because of his personality.
Kodah will hopefully be following in the footsteps of his Uncle Ambroise, a strong and capable leader, with proper fighting skills.
Most of all he wants to protect his mother who he loves more than anything, he sees Nivriti as a precious flower who he has to protect. He teases his sister, and gets on fairly well with his brother. He looks up to his father for general guidance but is more in tune with Ambroise, his Uncle.
Plots:
Foal rp, I didn't get around to rp'ing Kodah before he grew and so would like him to make some foal friends.
I'd like him to make a solid male friend, possibly someone with either the same personality as himself, or one who is more rational to balance his headstrong nature. This would be a life friend, someone to who he can either get into trouble with or go to for advice.
Meeting family. Got a relation of Kodah's? Hit me up for rp =)
Kodah is NOT currently available for any mating plots of any kind. I'm still roleplaying him as a colt, and when he does grow ICly I will be extremely picky as to who he might end up with.

Personality/Background: Grace is a young, sweet and trusting mare that arrived in the area around the holiday period. She strayed from her herd to see more of the world, but really all she'd like is to be with her family. But because winter is drawing in she will have to wait it out as she doesn't like the cold very much and isn't overly athletic.
She is eager to be loving, and might come across as a bit clingy but she doesn't mean to be, she just wants to give of her nature & heart to those she meets.
Plots:
Meeting Usdias (naturally)
A mate, it seems to take along time for me to pair my poor Usdia mares off so I'm starting now (strictly speaking she isn't a month old enough but a long courtship is fine by me). I'd like her to find a nice, steady gentleman who can fully appreciate her gentle nature.
Danger. Maybe getting in on a plot where she is put into peril or meets a particularly nasty Soquili of any race. I'm not adverse to her getting roughed up (scratched/bruised) but nothing more than that.
