Welcome to the Purge; a night where villains roam the night and there is no one around to save you. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the military and protectors of Vale are occupied; leaving the city rife for the pickings. This event shall have two kinds of participants for it: Hunters (Villains) and the Hunted (non-villains). The goal of the Hunters is to kill as many RPCs as possible. The goal of the Hunted is to survive the night.

This event takes place (in RP) on the night before Christmas; on the eve of one of the happier holidays Vale has. However on this night there is an outbreak of violence; a faunus protest and tribe-sympathizing counter protest has clashed and turned violent. The military and police are currently stretched thin trying to control the situation; thin enough that villains have a unique chance to cause havoc. Some...interested parties, seeing the chance, has issued a bounty through underground networks. To cause a bit of a killing spree on the streets of Vale while authorities are indisposed. The prize is a hefty bounty for those who can wrack up the highest body count.

And thus, the stage is set. The night is young. Shall you be a Hunter, roaming the night trying to win the grand prize? Or shall you be the hunted; caught unawares as this occurs and desperately trying to survive or are you trying to be a hero during this eve of blood?

(1). This event allows for character death. Once you are signed up, you are consenting to the possibility your character may die (if you are among the hunted). And once signed up, you must be committed.
(2). Post count is not used to determine winners in any potential fights of the event. Fights will be Role-Played out; at the very end it will be put to a vote on the outcome based on that. For purposes of level and ability, consider the post count you sign up under as the official one that is Locked for this event. You may submit the form early without specifying post count, but it must be edited in by the deadline.
(3). In any given fight, there can only be two villains and two of the hunted. This is to prevent things from becoming one giant group fight that makes it a bit chaotic.
(4). You must be active for the event. Failure to be active (posting within a week of having a response) can lead to consequences in the event.
(5). You must apply (using apps below) and submit it before this sign up closes. Only those who have signed up here may participate in the event, and only with the characters they signed up with. Late entries may be subject to denial.

For the hunted (non-villains):
(1). If you survive the event, the character(s) that participated gain a 30 post boost. It will be listed on the signup up page once the event is over as proof of it; you'd merely need to link it to somewhere on your profile page.

For the Hunter (Villains):
(1). In RP, there is a 1 million lien reward for the person who kills the most other player controlled RPCS. Second place gets 750,000 lien. Third gets 500,000 lien. Fourth 250,000 lien.
(2). The secondary benefit is a bit of infamy. Performing well here could draw certain eyes to your alias; perhaps some that could be beneficial to you in time.
