█BACKGROUND ▬
Her mother and father were destitute weapons tradespeople, in the Country of Atlas before its fall. Tyche was born by…distasteful conception when her “father” failed to repay a debt to his loan sharks one night; part of an evil faction at Atlas that acted much like a Mafia of sorts. Giving birth to another girl of the two they already had, he had no sons to carry his name. It was never hidden that both her mother and father resented their b*****d child as she was growing up; as she was a bitter reminder to her mother of that awful night, and to the man that raised her had no connection with and never met her sperm-donor. Her sisters were not so cruel to the child they called “sister” though. Instead, they would try and protect her when they could, while growing up in that messed up house.
Neglect was something she had learned early in life, at the age of two. Her mother was expecting another child that would later turn out to be a younger sister. Another sibling that she could call family and friend. One she would adoringly protect as well, with the help of their older sisters in the future. Though still, she would be the focus of all their father’s anger.
Growing up, Tyche learned the best way to not get a beating from their drunk of a father was to step with stealth. Her sisters kept her company when their father was in one of his moods, keeping her safe in the attic that they would play in. On particularly bad nights, she would be brought down into the basement by their “father”. Their mother, the passive b***h, never saved her from her father’s abuse, sometimes even watching as she was whipped or struck with a knife for misbehaving; sometimes even for doing nothing at all, or for what wasn’t her fault. They thought she was a quiet mouse, but the truth was that a dark hole was already starting to consume the child with each strike to her; the desire to cause them the pain that they had done unto her was starting to peek ideas in her twisted mind.
If it weren’t for her sisters, she would have probably died a long time ago. She considered it a merciful stroke of Fate when they stepped in; taking care of her or bringing her food when she was safely in the “tower” of the house after nearly bleeding to death (sometimes she would find herself there after not waking for days at a time). It was not until she was ten years old that her second eldest sibling began to teach her how to defend herself with simple dodge and strikes. Speed she would learn, could become her greatest ally in this moment of her youth. It was not all dark though, as when she was eight, she had started to be home-schooled. Of course, it was also at the age of eight that she had earned a cane after being pushed down a flight of stone steps by some rushing kids, injuring her left leg for almost a week. This cane would stay with her throughout her life.
Throughout her youth, she would watch as others would gamble in games and pray or listen as others talked about Lady Fate. This talk soon got her looking into Fate and Fortune herself. Finding it fitting, she began to adopt the ideas that if she put herself in the hands of Fate: what would it do, and how could she twist it to her favor? Deciding to take advantage of their so-called “father’s” lessons in cards and bookmaking; she would learn the games, even winning now and again by the time she was six years of age. The winnings Tyche earned would be hidden away in a toy she possessed after her first game of chance, and with the earnings, bought herself a deck of metal-bladed cards at the age of nine; she loved to feel them in her hands. Saving the rest for the day they were to run; if Fate ever gave her the chance.
In her youth, she really didn’t have any friends other than her sisters (learning later that they were all she needed). Especially her younger sister as she found comfort in the young one looking to her; she felt protective of Flavia after all. Though she would no longer need the cane, the child would keep it with her; feeling comfort with it in her dainty-looking hands as she walked. Quietly taking her beatings as they came, she would only scream when their father broke her flesh; scars ever thicker as they recovered.
By her twelfth summer, she would meet a special group of children that were a ragtag group of sorts. Figuring they were nice enough, she would hang around town with them. By the autumn of her twelfth year though, she would find they were…verminous rats. As she was walking home late one night she was surprised and curious to see some of the older kids running from a small house; it was familiar since it was a small town. It both fascinated and horrified her as she heard screams and began to see flames licking the inside interior; she had been frozen to her place. The people that ran to help were all a blur in the young girl’s vision as her attention was solely on the burning house just a yard from her. Known for being a rather unnervingly quiet child, even in school, it was no surprise that she would be blamed for the Arson…The only thing that hurt was when the older children had pointed the finger at her! Try as the sisters might, Tyche was found guilty and therefore imprisoned for nearly two months before being held down as they branded the virgin flesh at the back of her neck with the shape of a small flame.
It had taken weeks to heal, and not long to grow her chestnut locks long enough to cover the forsaken mark. It only added to her conviction that everyone that wronged her must die! Of course, she was wise enough to hide this seething loathing, believing Lady Fate would show her the right time to strike, and then they would all pay! Like those children that had called her “friend”; they never mocked her again when her and her older sisters dealt with them quietly during one stormy night…none would speak of what happened.
Though rare, there were some not-so-dark moments in her life (like the secret picnics held on the hill by her sisters just outside their town every now and then). One day she would always keep fondly in her memories was when she was turning thirteen, the circus was in Atlas. Her sisters and herself were able to sneak under the tarp tent, watching from under the bleachers. They knew they shouldn’t have, but the magic, music, and wonder of it all was just otherworldly; it was enough to make them all forget the darkness of their lives, if even for a little while. Eyes full of childlike wonder, they would all jump at the feel of a hand tapping their shoulders. They had been caught! The small people that had caught them stayed with the girls until the end of the show though, allowing them to watch. When the performances were over, and the crowds were filing out of the big tent, the girls were nervous and escorted to another part of the fields. It would appear that they were being taken to the campers of the circus performers and it was not easy to not stare in awe; though they knew better and would not stare for long. In front of a bonfire, the ringleader (a man dressed in flashy red clothing and a large top hat) stood and would greet the girls kindly. Her eyes would momentarily rest upon a kind face, a ram faunus? She had remembered his performance favorably before her attention was back on the tall, older gentleman before the sisters. He was kind to them, and even invited them to join them for a meal, meet a few of the performers. Tyche had taken a shine to the knife-thrower who was only too happy to teach her and her younger sister with his daggers. That night before bed, she gave thanks to Lady Fate for such a memorable birthday.
The rest of the thirteenth year was much the same until a late night of playing with her cards. She had been working on a system of symbolism of her own to commune with Lady Fate. On one momentous full moon, around midnight or so, she held a particular question in mind as she shuffled it before selecting from the deck a single card; the king of diamonds. A smile slowly graced her lips as she would giggle darkly. The time was near, and she had a plan as she would sleep peacefully that night.
Preparing for the day that she would have to take her sisters away from their “prison” of a house, she was not blind nor deaf to the growing troubles of their kingdom. Finally, at the age of fourteen, while Atlas was in chaos and being evacuated due to the Grimm and other desolations around them, she would make sure her sisters were out of the house, she being the last sister out before their house began to burn. The sisters would turn away, screams of those around them (or maybe from inside the house) deafening as the girls would escape to safety with other civilians that night. It was also that night that they would take the long-planned surname, Nerigatti.
Alone in the world other than each other, the Nerigatti sisters would feel freedom at last. The ship they sailed upon with many other Atlas survivors would find their cold and choppy seas left behind as they headed more towards the kingdom of Vale for safety. It was as they sailed that Tyche’s “communions” with Fate would grow more frequent, warding her elder sisters’ concerns but they did not question their younger sister; they had come to respect their sister’s strength and enduring soul, so to speak, but feared for her sanity. It would be a long journey to their new home, and all seemed quiet for now.
They would spend nearly two weeks on the retched seas before they would dock at the harbors of Vale. The sisters were safe now. In a small amount of time that passed, the girls would open up a small bar and game house just outside the commercial area of Vale with the money they had with them (ironic as it was). They would save up enough in the years that pass to buy a small, secluded plot of land with a modest home; they enjoyed their privacy of course. The sisters also invested in the building of a small shed on their property for “projects”. During one of the projects, Tyche would earn a scar just under her right eye; anyone that asks, she says a “mouse” caught her by surprise.

❖❖❖Assessment❖❖❖ Allo there! My name is KnightsRoyal, and I'll be judging your awesome profile tonight!
❖ IV Emperor: Tyche is able to implement 1 nonlethal rule that gives her an advantage in the game. // Opponent is able to create 1 nonlethal rule that would give them an advantage in the game. - So does this enforce the rule? And what game is this talking about? Battle? This is a bit vague. ❖ XII Hanged Man: Ropes appear to bind and hang her target upside down, and ropes cannot be broken. // Ropes appear to bind and hang Tyche upside down midair, ropes cannot be broken. - I get this is random, but it feels as if this is an auto hit if this card is drawn positively. I would like to request a bit of a dice roll/coin toss to at least give the participants, both yourself and your foe a 50% chance of evading the attack? ❖ XVI Tower: A tower made of Aura about 15 feet in height rises up and entraps her opponent (4 posts). // A tower made of Aura about 15 feet in height entraps Tyche (4 posts). - So they are trapped? What is the circumference of the tower or is it just centered on them and is 15 feet high? Also, again, it seems like it's an auto-hit with a roofed tower trap. I would like to request a bit of a dice roll/coin toss to at least give the participants, both yourself and your foe a 50% chance of evading the attack? ❖ XV Devil: Tyche's opponent is attempted to be bound with a collar that's chained to the ground; if caught, these ten-feet binds cannot be broken (2 posts). // Tyche is attempted to be bound with a collar around her neck that is chained to the ground, these ten-feet bonds cannot be broken if caught (2 posts). - So the chains themselves are completely unbreakable? I get it lasts for two posts, but I can hardly believe that they can be invulnerable to any form of damage. ❖ IX Hermit: Able to isolate her opponent in their own mind and unaware of anything else around themselves; trapping them for 2 posts. // Tyche is isolated in her own mind from the world, unaware of anything around herself; trapped for 2 posts. - So if she draws this card positively, there is no chance of an opponent being able to resist or evade this card? ❖ I do have One Major problem with her semblance and that is the fact that there doesn't seem to be a ranged limit on most of her cards drawn, just a time limit. Is this intentional?

Hi~! Edits have been made, but I shall also be posting what I've edited:
❖ IV Emperor: I could add - aura enforces it, and say game is specifically this battle used (Or is outside of battle a different rp game). - Example: 1 non-lethal rule she would make is no guns can be used during their game. Or, no blinding the other ❖ IX Hermit: I might say it's not guaranteed if someone has a strong will, but dice roll might be more fair? ❖ XII Hanged Man: a dice roll I can do for this one if it's a hit or miss in the attempt of the aura rope ensnaring either of them. ❖ XV Devil: As for the strength of the chains, they are aura. They are not invulnerable, you are correct. With enough strength, they can be broken. - With the length of chain and it only being around the neck, the victims are able to move up to ten feet. Other than that, all other movement in unimpeded. (at least how I tried to make it). ❖ XVI Tower: Would it be fair to describe circumference as 15 ft around the person? - They are trapped for the duration. - neither can attack one another, giving the freed a chance to recoup and/or escape. - it is translucent-like. - Okay, then shall I add that the top is open ❖ As for range, maybe 10 meters from her person sound fair? ❖ As for the rest of them, would it seem more fair if I placed the word "try" in the ones that appear to be like auto-hits? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Added: █TATTOOS ▬ Red Diamond on her right wrist (♢).

██ ╫ H I S T O R Y ╫

The one called Ghost, and the other Mr. Reaper; aliases, but they would only know her by hers for now. Never allowing them to meet her sisters for now. Her missions for the goddess of luck still going on in secret, she's slowly bringing Flavia further under her wing.
