xxx█ ▌ -- [Kit] She was born into the Mountain Clan right after the river had been stolen by the two legs. Many elders and kits died during the months that followed, her siblings being among them. Riverpaw had watched her brothers and sister waste away, get sick, and die. Her father had spent every last ounce of energy he had trying to find food for them but never ate any himself thus he eventually joined her siblings in the afterlife. Shortly after the death of her father, it seemed her mother accepted the doomed fate of the clan and simply gave up the will to live, also joining the rest of her family in Sunclan. Riverpaw had no biological family left, but she had her clan.
"You are strong, like the river you are named for. I know you will survive and, like the river, you'll find a way to spread life to those around you." Her mother had said this often to her as a kit while they watched their clan and family starve. But Riverpaw was determined to do just that; be strong and provide for her clan. For the entirety of her short life she has practice and practiced her pounce with all her energy. It is her dream to become such a mighty hunter that no cat near her will ever go hungry again.
-- [Apprentice] She grew up in Mountain Clan and moved with them when they decided to leave the old territory. When her best friend Robinpaw decided to go off and start a clan of her own, Riverpaw followed her, convinced Robin needed her protection.

xxx█ ▌ -- In life he was a strong young tom cat who always looked out for his family and his clan. His protective nature ended up being the death of him, literally. The she-cat he had taken a fancy to was outgoing and adventurous. One day she and Starfur went out hunting but unfortunately they were also being hunted. A hungry coyote had picked up their scent and confronted them before they had managed to catch any prey. Starfur sacrificed himself so that the she-cat could escape.
-- In Sunclan the warrior tom watches over the remainder of his clan, walking among them and smiling at the brave warriors that grow up there.
