Unable to wait a moment longer, Riversong left her den early and made her way cheerfully to the meeting spot. Today she and Sunflight would be holding a clan wide training, a refresher training to some, on the basics of tree walking and fighting. To say Riversong was excited was an understatement. Ever since she was a tiny kit she had wanted to protect her clan. Now that she was older and the deputy to Sunflight's clan, her desire to protect others was stronger than ever. RobinClan was young but it was growing and with all the newcomers around, Riversong felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility for the safety of everyone.
It was almost too much for her. She had found herself becoming stressed, worried about someone falling or getting hurt. Of course it wasn't possible to avoid all harm to her clan but she hoped to have as few injury related visits to the medicine cat's den as possible. After giving some thought to her fears she decided the best course of action would be to review the basics with the entire clan. A few days ago she had talked it over with Sunflight, the two of them agreed to hold a training with the clan and Riversong couldn't be more thrilled. Not only would it let her see how everyone was adjusting to tree walking but it would give her a sense of their strong a weak points. Riversong also hoped that getting the whole clan together would be a bonding experience and they could all get to know each other more.
Regardless of her goals or expectations for the clan, Riversong was just happy to spend the day in the trees with Sunflight. Her giddiness had prevented her for sleeping in and or simply waiting in her den. She pranced into the meeting spot much earlier than she had intended to but figured it better to be early than late. After a moment of excited pacing, Riversong settled and waited for the clan to arrive.
