Motivation: Growing up without a family, Laram is very self-reliant. His motivation comes from all of his years of self-sufficiency.

Hobbies: As far as hobbies go, Laram doesn't really have many. He likes exploring new places, hiking on hard terrain, and has a real passion for his music. Other than that, his head is filled with finding his family and becoming a strong trainer.

Personality: Laram is a bit of an oxymoron. While he is incredibly driven, he generally wanders aimlessly, not knowing how to accomplish what he wants to do. However, once he has made up his mind, nothing can dissuade him from his decision. For the majority of the time, he's pretty serious. But he knows how to enjoy the moment if he can. One needs to learn to laugh when their life isn't that great.
Personal Skills: Through a lifetime of taking care of himself, Laram has a talent of surviving in very specific geographical areas. One is a forest, the other is the mountains. Through his life, he had to learn how to use a knife effectively in both defense and survival situations. One of the only things Laram truly enjoys, is music and playing it. He happens to have a really nice voice if you're lucky enough to hear it.
Family: Laram's family disappeared when he was three years old. So...none?
Hometown: Foretree City
Biography: Laram was born in a small hospital in the Hoenn Region. He was the third child to his parents, who were not very well off. His father gambled, and his mother drank. Between the two of them, they managed to wrack up quite a bit of debt with some unsavory characters. As such, a little after Laram turned three, his parents sent him to scavenge in the forest, and when he came back his family was gone. This was the start of his life as an orphan. From then on, he learned that the world didn't want him. He was sent to a local orphanage, but they too had money troubles. His thirteenth birthday was celebrated by the caretakers telling him that it was time for him to leave. Since he pretty much lived as a street urchin anyway, the only difference was not being able to sleep indoors when he wanted to. He migrated around Hoenn's mainland for a few months before he stowed away on a ship delivering supplies to Mt. Pyre. This was the day he would no longer spend his days alone.
As Laram ascended the mountain, he noticed a small figure falling out of the sky. Acting on instinct, he jumped in to action. The impact knocked the breath out of his chest, but he managed to save what looked like a small eagle. A Rookidee, pushed from his nest by his parent, was abandoned to die because there were two birds. The parent, knowing it couldn't provide for both, decided that the larger infant was sick, and would probably die anyway. So he was pushed out to fall to his death. The small bird was indeed sick, and Laram carried him to anyone who would help. He met a nice man who was the caretaker, and with his help, nursed the Rookidee back to health. Once he was better, the old man suggested that he should be returned to the cliffs; however the two youngsters weren't having it. It was obvious that the two had bonded, and did not want to separate from each other. The man was adamant, and the two had to run to escape him. After that day, the duo were inseparable. They did everything together, and managed to keep each other alive through some tough situations. Laram and Galahad grew closer together until their lives changed again at the age of fourteen.
Laram and Galahad did what they could to try to help others in their lives. The tragedies that plagued Laram's past turned him into a protector of sorts. He knew how bad life could be and it gave him his greatest trait; his empathy for others. But he and Galahad decided that they wanted to put Hoenn behind them and find Laram's family. He always kept his childish hope that they didn't abandon him, but instead were forced to leave him behind. He had fantasies of being reunited with them and living happily ever after with them. So the pair decided to search for them. Through the following of leads, Laram and Galahad's search led them to the Kimchi Region. Their boat landed in them in Blume Town where Laram was directed to the local lab. He didn't know it yet, but this was the start of his new life as a trainer.
