DMS Eternal Melpomene

He knew they'd have to talk about things, like him drugging him, once this was all over. Melpomene also knew that his fiance would understand what he'd done, or rather why he'd done it, the other had needed sleep so he could be at his best when they were called to make their stand. It was a shame it came today, just when he'd gotten the other to get a good nights sleep, it wasn't enough and he could only hope his general had gotten enough sleep.

Melpomene had asked for Chalcanthite to teleport them to the arranged location, or as close as the other would permit, as it allowed him a moment to embrace the other and tell him to take care of himself - the other still needed to marry him. When he'd left, heading to join the gathering, he knew Chalcanthite would be behind him keeping to the edges of the gathering. He still didn't want anyone knowing about them and he did understand why, sort of, he was more optimistic than his partner was when it came to the Negaverse knowing about them. He didn't see the issue, but he did accept the others worry and went with it, as he stood there along surrounded by people he didn't know.

Glancing about, over his shoulder, as if he could locate the other as he hoped things went well. He wasn't religous but he did send up some silent prayer to whatever planet he should have had...and to mirrorspace to keep them all safe. They had to make it through this - he had a wedding to make! Somewhere he knew Desiree was as well, she was of course here, he was certain nearly every powered individual in the city would be here. Grabbing his earring, it's partner was with his partner, and so he took a moment to slip the earring in, securing the backing, and it seemed as soon as he did he heard his partners voice.

"The same to you love, be safe, I will always worry it can't be helped. Thank you, I'll keep an eye out for your team. When this is over we're ordering take out."

Because there was no way they wouldn't be hungry when this was over, they also might be injured, but food would be a need and he was not about to cook after whatever was about to happen. He needed to think about such thigns, about what came next, when this was over, because he had to be positive and keep an optimistic view on everything. Someone had to.

Siegfried, Knight of Neptune

"I know, love," replied Siegfried, pressing a kiss to Cybele's hair as they found a spot on the hill to stand. And wait. Several Cybele Knights gathered with their Princess, and he waved Ariccia out from where she was hiding behind them. The poor girl hadn't exactly wanted to show up here with the end of the world, but she'd also expressed a sense of duty to Cybele to show up. So Siegfried had made sure to pick her up on the way. With the group of them, they'd protect each other. They had to.

He gave a nod at Celadon, as well as Danube, introducing himself in kind. He thought he saw another Cybele knight off to the side (Hierapolis), though he wasn't quite sure if he recognized him as of yet. He settled a hand on Cybele's back protectively, eying the General Sovereigns on the other side of the hill. Even that ******** Faustite was here... Sieg let out a breath and turned his attention back to his wife and her knights.

A world eating space serpent was a bigger threat than Faustite right now. They could go back to their squabbles and trying to take that man's head from his shoulders once they still had a planet to live on. If they were still alive after all this.

Of all the memories and lifetimes he had rolling around in his head, not once had any of them been truly life threatening. Never like this. Sure, the little snippets of his past life had implied he'd, well, died. Otherwise, how would he be here? Yet, no part of the war, even when trying to fight Faustite himself, made him keep his head on a swivle at all times. How they could fight a world eating space serpent though...

Cosmos, this was out of his league.

---

Ariccia, Page of Cybele

Ariccia stepped out from behind her princess and Siegfried, willow branch held tight between her hands. Outwardly, she tried to project strength or courage or something other than the screaming that was going on inside her head. She was terrified. It was one thing to come across agents or corrupted senshi draining civilians and fight them. Even youma, she could handle for the most part though she did do a lot of running.

It was another to try to fight an alien snake that ate planets.

She waved a little at her fellow Cybele knights. Or maybe that was just her hands shaking like the leaves on her willow branch.

Half-youma General Lavendulan and Personal Youma - Tallulah

There were moments when Lavendulan felt grateful that she lacked the expressive, triangular ears Wolframite bore… ears that so often emphasized his emotions. If she had them, they might’ve flicked up in curiosity, much like how her raised brows now gave away her surprise. Still, the gentle sway of her long, elegant tail was unmistakable… betraying a flicker of delight unbecoming of a seasoned general. It made her fee, for a moment, like a whelpling instead of a dignified general

Then again, no one had ever offered her a weapon before.

Her mouth opened as if to speak, then paused. She brought a hand up to her to cover her mouth and cleared her throat, trying to regain some composure.

“Assuming that wouldn’t leave you at a disadvantage, I would appreciate it very much.” A small smile played at her lips in delight. “Your swords.. They’re not as massive as Lopezite’s, are they? I’m fairly certain it would be difficult for me to lift something that size, much less use it effectively.” She chuckled softly, thinking of her friend. His weapon nearly matched his height, the blade going from shoulder to heel, and that wasn’t even counting the hilt.

Phedre DeCour: Corrupt Super Meridiana

Meridiana teleported close enough to the coordinates she received in the summons and walked the rest of the way. All she had to do was follow the aura of powered signatures ahead and the murmur of distant conversations.

Even from a distance she saw, or rather felt, the signatures belonging to General Kings and Queens as well as White Moon Princesses and Princes, or whoever they might be. I wonder if he’s here… a certain blue-haired Sovereign withwhom she had not seen in many months now.

Her heart ached and yet she continued forward with a practiced smile as she approached a former acquaintance. Miyamoto, she raised her hand by way of welcome then nodded her respect to the two generals at his side. “Hello,” Meridiana added in kind to the half-youma (Lavendulan) and taller man (Stichtite) with what looked like possibly the warmest coat she had ever seen on an agent, except for perhaps Zinkenite, but she was undoubtedly biased. “Might I ask you to introduce us?” she looked to Miyamoto since he seemed to be the center of this forming group.

General Benitoite

Looking from Diaboliete to Mara he gave a soft, almost relaxed and calm, smile. It was to his elder cousin first that he spoke, leaning in close to them. "When we get through this, tomorrow, we should all have a late lunch." So they could all sleep in, as he felt they'd have earned it, and because after whatever happened tonight he knew he'd just want to spend tomorrow with his family..relaxing and enjoying the fact they were all still alive. "I didn't plan to drag you into this...I hope you aren't cross with me for pulling you into an end of the world situation. Ignorance is bliss and all that." And now that his elder cousin wasn't ignorant of magic, of all the things going on, he now had the stress of knowing the world might just end. He kept his voice low, even though some close by might hear him, this was more for his cousin than anything.

"I am proud you've taken to this, a Captain already." Smiling, pride in his blue eyes, before he was turning to Mara. "And you, I didn't plan to drag you in either. But like hell I'd allow you to join the other side." If he could, if his hands weren't already occupied, he'd have had his hands on his hips as he spoke. He also would have pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry as well, for pulling off the roses tinted glasses. You only just came back to this city and I pulled you into this all. But you've done well also." More smiles, more pride, because he was glad to have his family here even if the world came to an end at least he wouldn't be alone. That had been on worry of his, for all these years, that one night he'd die and no one in his family would know he'd died or if they did they wouldn't know how. That he'd die alone, or at least without family, and now that wasn't the problem. The problem was this...this beast which wanted to kill them all and devour their planet. Like hell that was going to happen. Not when he had so much going for him.

"If either of you get hurt find Stitchite. He'll likely be towards the edges of things playing doctor. Do not stay if you're hurt." That was his job, not that he'd say as much, he had little doubt that both knew he'd continue even if he was injured.

Turning lastly to Aoede he tilted his head a bit. "You're almost family, you will be soon. Be safe, if you do get hurt find Stitchite and he'll handle it. I don't want anyone taking risks they don't need to be taking." That was his job, though he didn't say it, this wasn't about him but rather the team he had around himself. His cousin, now a General, couldn't be summoned by him but he was certain he was here...if only because a certain corrupt would be here. If Jet, or his partner, or others heard him and figured out that these three were family the petite general didn't seem to care. Why would he? There were far bigger things to worry and care about tonight. Finally he let his pale eyes land on Aquarmarine.

"I found your insults rather enjoyable the last time, when all this s**t started. If anyone is feeding your drinks I might have to join, not for the drinks but for the entertainment." Because he did not drink, or rather he almost never drank, there was good reason for him to avoid drinks.

Yddagen, Vanguard

Yddagen adjusted his weapon at his hip, but made sure to do so in such a way that it wouldn’t be threatening to anyone around him. With this many tense people milling around, the last thing he wanted to do was start a free-for-all. His eyes scanned over the other Vanguard there, glad to see several of them that he hadn’t seen in a while. He looked automatically for Lysvi, but it was hard to see over the rest of the people there. Even though the humans were largely shorter than he was, there were still very many of them, and being shorter than him did not make them short.

Was it too much to hope that fighting this new threat would reveal something new that they could take back with them to their homeworld, and leave the Negaverse behind? Yddagen kept his eyes to himself, lest they reveal the disdain he held for the idea of continuing to rely on the Negaverse for anything. Just them standing anywhere near to him gave him the feeling that his skin would crawl away. He swallowed it down and went back to looking for Lysvi.

Corrupt Eternal Miyamoto

Surprise at the tap to his head, and the voice, had him turning and staring up at the youma general. "Lavendulan, it's good to see you. I agree, Wolframite would have enjoyed this, it's a shame he isn't here." There where he was, what had him so occupied that he wasn't here, the corrupt didn't know. It was a wonder though, considering the state of things, that he wasn't here even if it meant recalling him from whereever he was. This was big enough to warrant him being here, in the thick of things, he was one of the old guard as far as Miyamoto was concerned. He should be here...he'd want to be, he was certain of that.

"I agree, water use here and now would be a terrible idea." It was why he hadn't called up the frost, and chill, he tended to keep around himself. It was a comfort, and an intimidation tactic, but it was no where to be seen tonight. He didn't trust any sort of frost or water, nothing of the sort, around with a beast which used electric as it's main magic. He wasn't planning to die tonight, he had plans beyond tonight.

Looking once more to his partner he nodded his head slowly. "Mmm, that is likely the case with Benitoite, and he should have a ticket as well. He was up in space that day as well and everyone got one, he'll likely think to use it as an escape plan if all our efforts fail. We can only hope it'll work, I don't know if it will." But he would try, he had to, he wasn't going down so easily. He'd picked himself up from nothing, which he'd brought upon himself by choosing to corrupt, and he wasn't going to let this thing simply roll over him. He'd find a way to survive this night, and bring others with him.

"I would like to be inthe middle of thigns myself but I need you close in case we need to escape." And he knew the other wasn't about to go wading into the middle of this mess of people, he wasn't a fighter so much as he was a healer of sorts. He'd keep to the back and so Miyamoto would as well, despite his want to do otherwise, he was playing it safe tonight.

Surprised at the sight of a fellow corrupt joining his small group, though perhaps it was destined to grow bigger? The dark haired male smiled. "It's nice to see you Meridiana. I didn't expect you to be here, though really there isn't anything else to do tonight I suppose." Not when the end might come and take them all out, why waste your time doing something else when it may amount to nothing? "I've seen several of our General King's here, and even our General Queen, but not yours. He is not here tonight, at least not that I've seen." And not according to how many such signatures he'd felt all night.

"Ah, yes. This is Generals Stichtite and Lavendulan. Lavendulan is a close friend, with both of us working under General Wolframite." Not that he was here, and he didn't know where he was either, he'd not seen nor heard from him in a while. "General Stichite is...." Trialing off for a moment he finally settled on something. "Family, he's family." After living with the other for well over a week it certainly felt right to say, it felt comfortable and correct.

Sailor Phaethon, Super Senshi of Happiness

They couldn’t say they were feeling particularly happy about anything they were seeing. Phaethon took a deep breath and let it out very slowly. They didn’t blame Nembus for being unsure about the idea of coming. Even Phaethon had been unsure, and they didn’t have the trauma around the Negaverse that Nembus had. But they had to do what they could to help, even if it was patching people up on the ground. There wasn’t much Phaethon could think that their magic would do against the kind of enemy they were facing, after all.

Make people feel better about probably dying, though? That they could do, they thought grimly to themselves.

Ekström, Transcended Knight of Mercury

She spotted Rhysi during her initial sweep of the space, and managed to crack a smile when she gave her a thumb’s up. Seemed she was a huge fan of the gesture, so Ekstrom happily returned it with one of her own before continuing on with looking around to see who all was there. She waved at a few familiar faces, but ultimately stuck to her little area and eventually shifted her focus back up toward the sky.

Ashur, Knight of Uranus

Ashur had mixed feelings about being there, and it still took some convincing but here he was. Not that he was a huge fan of massive gatherings like this, but seeing as everyone was all on the same side–at least for however long this was meant to go–it made enough sense for him to be there to…contribute? Maybe.

“Sure, let’s go with that,” he snorted as he took up some space next to a familiar Mercury…Knight?

He wrangled down his surprise and greeted Ekstrom with a pat on the shoulder, but said nothing beyond that and simply crossed his arms and did a quick scan of the area. There were more new faces compared to old ones, he noticed with a little sigh, but kept his comments to himself. More was probably better in this situation, so he wasn’t about to complain.

Ashur is a little unpleasant, sorry open for interactions~

Captain Staurolite

As curious as he was about it, if he were being honest he would have preferred to stick close to Hannah if he could have, knowing what was coming and what that message was for. It was time, this was it.

So Staurolite dutifully came and found a space within the growing crowd of agents, eyes on the sky until he heard someone call out to him. Bright orange eyes sought out the owner of the familiar voice, who was thankfully perched up on her youma and waving so she wasn’t hard at all to spot. It would have been a different story if she chose to walk on her own two feet in this crowd…

He stifled his laugh at the thought and made his way over.

“Evening,” he greeted with a smile and a nod, and he tipped his head to the other two nearby that General Lavendalun was greeting. The three outranked him, so he melted a bit into the background beside her for the moment while they chatted.

Captain Andesine
Action: joining the Nega Cluster because that’s where Ashanite is.

The end of the world could’ve picked a better time to happen. Not that Andesine actually harbored any delusions about the end of the world being any kind of polite (after all, why would it be?)—but, still. It really had chosen a time when Andesine had more than enough going on of her own.

Not that it cared about a single Captain or her plans, but the balancing act had proven intense.

In between gathering energy to contribute to the efforts of fighting the Calamitous Hollow, she had been working on her own plans. Getting presentations together. Trying to assess the expected financial costs as best as possible based on whatever intel she could find (some of it from consulting whatever Negaverse internal reports she could access about similar building projects to what she envisioned). Spitballing ideas with Amylthia (who always tried her best, even if she didn’t always understand what was going on or what Andesine was talking about). Preparing for what would come after, inasmuch as she could (which wasn’t always much, since a looming apocalypse constituted a pretty major X factor, but……whatever).

Call it arrogance, call it delusional optimism, call it whatever. In case everything came together and the world didn’t end, Andesine simply refused to be caught on the back foot, without any sort of plan in place for how to move forward. She refused to get so caught up in getting to some nebulous and ill-defined “after” that, when said time eventually snuck up on everybody, she had no idea what to do with herself. Staring at the ******** wall and wasting the Negaverse’s time? Absolutely not. Oh, she did not think.

It was with a similar dedication and determination that Andesine teleported into the coordinates where people had been directed. Once there, despite the number of people coming out tonight, it didn’t take her long to find General Ashanite among the crowd.

Plenty of others stood around him: General King Jet (who got a deep nod of respect), General Aquamarine (also given a nod but less deeply), another General whom Andesine didn’t recognize offhand but Ashanite did (Benitoite) and so Andesine nodded to him, a Captain she also didn’t recognize but he seemed friendly with Jet and Aquamarine (Seraphinite), another Captain she didn’t recognize but he seemed attached to the General she didn’t recognize (Diaboleite), a Lieutenant she’d definitely never seen before (Spectrolite), and three senshi Andesine didn’t think she’d ever met before (Aoede, Rigel, and Mara). Still, Andesine found her way to Ashanite’s side.

“Any bets we’ll see Arsenolite and the new Lieutenant he brought home,” she said, mostly to Ashanite but also not entirely trying to prevent anyone else from hearing. “Good turnout regardless, but Arsenolite’s bow and the little one’s enthusiasm wouldn’t go amiss right now.”

Calling Nekoite the little one might have been unfair, considering he was twenty-four and about the same height as Andesine. But he was also an extremely young twenty-four. Heart in the right place but naïve, a team player but perhaps too quick to trust (hence how his recent encounter with Eternal Encke had gone), perky in a way that Andesine did not remember having been at that age.…… Taking a deep breath, Andesine looked up at the sky, at the storms and satellites. Wherever Arsenolite’s new lieutenant got that energy, they’d probably need it out here tonight.

Danube, page of Cybele

When Celadon joined them, Danube gave her a warm smile. Had they been acquainted before? Danube couldn’t rightly remember. She had been meeting a lot of people very quickly, recently. Had Celadon been at the warehouse meeting? “Danube,” was her reply, in any case. Even if Celadon had been at the warehouse meeting, there was no guarantee that she remembered Danube’s name. “Good to know,” about the javelin, and she meant it.

She wiggled her blunted arrow. “I’ll, well… I’ll do my best.” The look she gave Arricia was reassuring, or, at least, tried to be. There was only so much reassurance Danube could give them all. Especially standing there with naught to her name but the blunted arrow she’d wiggled around.

Transcended Eternal Sailor Daedalus

Daedalus had not yet spoken to anyone of the small miracle that had occurred on his planet. The change was so subtle, he wondered if it would even be noticed--while he'd found other markings on his shoulders and hips, only a soft glow on his cheeks was really visible, and he suspected that it might slip past anyone else's attention.

But it mattered to him. It mattered that his planet had embraced him, that after so many centuries, he and it were in harmony.

And that his world was alive enough to grant him this power.

He had powered up and found a rooftop to watch the sky when the message came, and as he sat, taking a long, quiet moment to process the message, his little wisp had appeared to nudge itself against him, like it wanted ot help bolster him for what was to come.

And he had gone. At the appointed hour, he made his way to the coordinates laid out, and when he arrived, he was relieved to see familiar faces. Murikabushi was always easy to pick out of a crowd, and so he moved towards him, a trusted friend in two lifetimes, and he couldn't help but smile at the satellites floating up into the air.

So much blood, sweat, and tears, and they were going to do their job. They had to, it was a non-optional situation.

"Murikabushi, Elsa," he greeted his housementes, "and I don't think i'm familiar with you two?" The young women (Aruna and Tempesti) were strangers, but that was alright.

"I'm glad to see so many here. We'll need every bit of strength we have to fight something like this." A sad little smile flickered across his face. "I'm Sailor Daedalus. A pleasure to meet you, even if these aren't ideal circumstances."

Knight Gorner of Castor

Caliban was more active than she was, he always had been, and normall she would turn things down because she had enough on her plate and couldn't risk being out of comission and unable to work. However the weather lately had been a scary sight to behold, it simply wasn't natural, and she knew something was coming - something big. She knew, when the call came in, that her partner would be involved. She didn't know what was going on, she wasn't sure he did either, but she turned up at the spot indicated in the message.

Arriving there the knight took her time wandering, searching, until she spotted a familiar figure and made her approach. "I knew you'd be here. What's going on?" Direct and right to the point, as usual, as she rested a hand on his shoulder while standing at his side.

"There are a lot of people here..." A lot of chaos, too much chaos, but Caliban was here so she would be as well. Whatever was coming, which he'd tell her about, they'd face together. "I have a feeling I'll be calling out of work tomorrow..." She didn't like the idea but it was what it was. Too bad.

Encke, Transcended Eternal of Plasma

Perhaps the stage that they were ascending to should have scared him more than it did.

The electricity in the air felt as unfamiliar as it felt familiar. Something in Encke called to it; perhaps it was the lightning itself, perhaps it was the glow it cast all of them in. Perhaps it was just the way it reminded him of where he was from.

Well, where his starseed was from, anyway.

It wasn't from this. The Harold of the Dark Star -- whatever the Dark Star was, Encke had a concern that perhaps that was the bigger threat -- was a threat of its own. A threat that wanted to constrict them and feast until it couldn't feast anymore. A threat that had all of them simply staring at the sky, waiting for something to happen.

Not like the mysterious message gave them much other of an option.

"Basi," Encke was very careful not to call him babe with the concentration of Negaverse agents around. The last thing he wanted after all his work to not be obvious about his and Basiluzzo's attachment was to be obvious. "I mostly want to know who keeps summoning us like this."

Was it Cosmos? She'd probably be at least a bit more blatant about it...

General Prehnite

Prehnite pulled--- a gentle flick of a wrist, a modicum of focus. An invitation to his presence more than a summons to the space ---- to have added to the original summons would've felt downright gratuitous. Like blowing a whistle amidst shrieking tornado sirens.

No, this simple thing was far better. Poised atop the hill and looking down across a field so familiar and yet so strange in the way it resembled many others before. Yet the air felt different here, now, maybe because this time? He didn't think he'd be bringing home any new additions to his lovely little garden. The atmosphere felt less like a readily laid trap with jaws waiting to close on their enemies, and more like one waiting to close around the Earth itself.

There would be no thrilling push and pull for victory over known constant in their lives. It certainly meant *something* to him, to see all hands on deck, spread across the fields, barely one or the other even glancing after each other's opposition and wondering -'I should go after them now while I have the chance'- like the familiar and ever-present whisper of a sharp-toothed devil on his shoulder, the kind that'd ridden him through all the instances they'd been made to get along before 'for the sake of being ordered to do it'.

No, this feels --

As he waited for the others to arrive his green-gilded gaze did land across a slash of earthy looking blond amongst a cluster of varied others, and for a moment the familiarity was an unscratchable itch, word tip of the tongue but unable to be utterd level of annoyance. The knight looked like someone with a grave he wanted to dig before walking primly over the tamped down earth and whatever variety of flora he'd plant in it; likely something with winding stems, and little white flowers.

White guara? Globe mallow? Clematis ternifolia?

No -- I'd plant some Crown of thorns. It'd grow beautifully.

That usual devil on his shoulder rearing itself to snarl, 'should I go after Him now while I have the chance?' He tempered the impulse lightly, and cast his gaze across a vicious purple streak while waiting for the others.

Captain Diasporite

It didn't take long to find them in a crowd, at least, not as long as Dia had feared it would've taken him when he arrived and realized with wide eyes how absolutely clustered all in attendance were. He'd never imagined seeing something like this---

Not since the last hilltop-venture, and the thought alone made him shudder as he rushed, unapologetically, past throngs of milling sky-gazers waiting with baited breath for the other shoe to drop. Thankfully Diesels hair stood out like a rainbow-oil-spill-beacon, the stark and colorful look seconded only by -- Narcissus!!

Oh, did he ever so owe the mirror senshi maybe a tad more than his own life! Diasporite was downright gleeful as he sidled up on small gold-stippled heels, a touch out of breath, yet beaming in spite of the heavy atmosphere.

"Yes! H-ah-- we are all here...quite literally I think...." His bravado shrinking as he sheepishly cleared his throat in the face of another crack of sky-rending flares, the way the space seemed to feel more and more cloistered as time slipped by. Whatever was up there? He hoped it sated itself on the white moon first....

Captain Akaganeite

Akaganeite had received the mysterious message on her tablet, and though there had been no follow-up or additional communication, it wasn't hard to guess what it was about. Neither Jet nor Aquamarine had sent any additional orders, and she didn't expect any; they would have been wholly unnecessary, regardless. There was no chance that she would simply stay home and not help in the last push to defend the planet.

She didn't arrive on the hill alone; Ako was with her, and she found herself heartened by her girlfriend's presence. Further, she could feel and see the General-Sovereigns, arrayed, and even their alien allies in the Vanguard, no matter how tense that alliance sometime seemed.

Even the White Moon seemed to have brought a Princess or two.

Good.

She could see Jet and Aquamarine with a small gathering aorund them, and she paused to look to Ako.

"I intend to check in with my General," she said, nodding in Aquamarine's direction, "and you can come with me, if you'd like. He is neither sociable nor pleasantly tempered, and I doubt he's moreso today, given everything going on, so there won't be much in the way of pleasantries. But I would like to ensure they don't have any requests for me."
