Athene braced himself as the final figurine raised a club-like hand, only for it to dissolve with Liryn standing on the other side.
He couldn't help but give a small sigh of relief, more a slight puff of air than anything else, even though he knew that things were far from over, because at least for now they had a bit of breathing space for all that it was only temporary.
"We will" he said quietly as he gave Liryn a tiny nod, because of course it went without saying that the two of them would do what they could to help Ida.
He gave Liryn a side look "But that doesn't mean recklessly charging in" because his mauvian friend had a habit of doing so.
For his part Athene decided to hold off on magic - at least for the moment - as he wasn't sure how much help it would be–
But even without using magic he had hands and feet - both of which were backed with an eternal's strength.

Heliodor, Corrupt Super Senshi of Ryutan HP: 75/75 Damage/Healing/Buff to Target Name: 10+8=18 damage to two of his blights and one of Faustite's. (1/3 blights targeting Helio left)
Helio was beyond grateful when Faustite and Albite made a quick entrance and aided him with the remaining blights that had surprised him. Faustite had come in ready for a fight with the way the General wiped out the blob-like things. "Glad you find the place alright." He joked with them.
At the voice, Helio sucked ina. Breath and looked to the new...thing. A chill of disgust slipped down his spine. The hell were these things and why the ******** were they just so...ew. Worse than that? The ones mobbing them were starting to actually take shapes that looked eerily too close to the ones fighting them. Nope. Nope, not alright!
"Heard!" He confirmed the warning, before the firestorm began.
Helio joined Albite momentarily, the two of them watching their General getting down to business That smile of his was spread ear to ear. "Honestly, they remind me of fuzzy moldy pudding."
There were a lot of blight. Too many, way too many swarming them and Faustite had cut his firestorm.
"Roaring Cascade!" Three of the blights. Were caught in the attack. Two that had swung to target himself and another that was moving to swing it's moldy blobness at Faustite.

Corrupt Super Versailles HP: 69/75 Damage/Healing/Buff to Target Name: 8 + 6 = 14 (3/4 taken out)
Versailles had certainly been right that something had been going on and even after he came more from both sides had come. And it was, not to be punny, quite the chaotic scene. And the mass appeared to be talking now which was "great". And by great he meant gross. And by gross he meant this entire situtation was disgusting. His first hint that this was going to be in a dark, wet, moldy place was the fact that the entrance had been to a sewer but he had been so bored that he had ignored it.
And look at him now. He managed to kick the one that had been hanging onto his leg off of him, but not before it had hurt him where his leg was and now he had a bit of a limp due to the pain. Three more came to attack him, and he was able to fight two more of them off, once again wishing that he had gloves so he didn't have to touch them with his hands, but he had no such luck tonight and managed to take them out by punching them. The third one latched onto his back side, getting some of his hair stuck as well and he was never more thankful that he could get rid of the long hair when he powered down. Because he did not want to mess with cleaning that up!
General Faustite HP: 100/100 Damage to Alblight: 10 + 3 + 1 (AoS) = 14; nuked.
The banter was endearing, but Faustite was immensely glad that neither of them asked his opinion for what these creatures looked like. Better that he give them no reason to ask, either.
One creature remained, this one struggling to wear the face of his boy as he jabbered on about nothing. Faustite frowned, finding the poor caricature repugnant, and readied a handful of claws to backhand the thing.
"Clean up after yourself," he chided Albite gently, as he dispatched a remaining corpuscular blob.
Pyper/Mauvian HP: 38+13(healed) = 51 Damage to blight monsters: 4+5=9
Pyper was really in a bind. Her claws dug in but to no avail. As the blight pressed her against the door in an attempt to smother her, a savior appeared! Suddenly the creatures were thrown back, away from the guardian cat. “Thank goodness,” she breathed, feeling the warmth of healing magic wash over her. She felt a thousand times better now. She quickly turned to see who had come to her rescue. “Thank you!” she managed, before hurriedly gesturing at the door. There was no time for introductions. “There, see! There’s a power symbol on the door. I think we can turn the lights on if we go in there! If we do that, we can see the monsters!”
Standing on her hind legs she reached a paw at the door handle. “Can you open it?” she asked, hoping Erythia could get inside before the creatures attacked again.

Twice in as many minutes, Rakovanite’s tablet blipped to life with warning of some commotion. The first he ignored: he had no interest in handling the White Moon’s problems for them. If they were fighting monsters, let them. If they lost, fine. The second message, from Vauxite, was harder to ignore. ’We need help.’ Both he and Diasporite had gone running into it. Why? Rakovanite didn’t know, supposed it didn’t matter in the moment.
He wasn’t familiar with the location, but… His dark gaze lifted to Cervantite, where the senshi was also fiddling with his tablet, probably debating the merits of making any suggestion on the matter. “Do you know where this is?” Rakovanite demanded softly.
Cervantite’s expression lit with a flash of teeth and glint of red eyes. “Might’ve been a few times,” he admitted. Though he didn’t need to admit any reason to Rakovanite. He could already imagine the look of disdain at hearing Ellian was out tagging in active construction zones, riiiight in the middle of exactly where he shouldn’t be. “What, you need me to get us there, huh, do ya? I could probably manage…” He extended a hand in offering- and ah, yes, there was that disdain he’d been prepared for.
But Rakovanite’s hand slid into his, anyway, and Cervantite yanked them in a teleport to-
Darkness. Thudded sounds of bodies collided, scuffles of boots of concrete, snarls of magic, flickers of light. Whatever ‘the enemy’ was, it found Rakovanite and Cervantite in an instant, but that was about as long as it took for Rakovanite to spot Diasporite and Vauxite- and Markeb- amid the throng of bodies. And there were many viscous, oily monsters surrounding them.
If he had his way, he would simply take them and leave. They gained nothing from a large-scale battle that should be Order's problem to deal with. But he should probably try and unearth them from their attackers, first. Anything that stood between him and Vauxite got a taste of steel, causing several of the blobs to immediately disperse.
Behind him, Cervantite lunged with his fists toward the two nearest in his vicinity, elliciting a sound sharp as a firecracker from anything he made contact with.
Super Sailor Alcor - Senshi of Cold HP: 69 Blight Monsters: 0/5 HP, 0/5 HP, 5/5 HP (new) Damage to Blight Monsters: 10 + 7 = 17 [Alcor's blight all dead this round, remainder of Dia's dead this round, Vauxite's last one is dead, did 2 HP damage to Rakovanite's remaining blight] Action Leading her blight over to Dia so she can use her cone of cold on hers and help him with his growing problem and unintentionally offer aide to the General (Rakovanite) beside him and another Lieutenant.
It'd only be a minute, two tops. Then she'd rejoin her sister and this Pluto Page she had become friends with recently. At least- that's the timeframe she'd given herself.
Running towards Chaos instead of away went against her very nature but for one reason or another, she had a bit of a soft spot for the little Lieutenant. Granted, the other officers gathered around him could likely handle whatever he couldn't get rid of but she couldn't help but try and add one more tally to the number of times she'd saved him if only to prove that not all White Moon Senshi were enemies.
When Alcor had gotten close enough, she sidestepped her own monster and shoved it towards his group before putting both hands together and summoning her strongest magic "Cone of Cold!" She'd never used her magic in front of him and wondered what his reaction would be to the sudden eruption of cold air that not only took out the monster she had lured towards them but also two of his and left another damaged with lingering frostbite on its oily form.
"That's four times now." She announced loud enough to get his attention. First time being the owl, second being the cold from her wonder where he still held on to the coat he 'borrowed'. The third time was from the oozes when they went back a second time and then now.
Her slate-blue gaze traveled past Dia and fell upon the familiar face of the General that had held when chaos from the generators threatened to youmafy her.
Alcor's almost playful smile all but vanished as she regarded him from a distance warily.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Cone of Cold After calling out her attack, Sailor Alcor hands get very cold and take on a bluish tint which last for 15 seconds. In order for this attack to be effective Sailor Alcor must be facing the opponent. Putting her hands together in front of her a cone of cold erupts where she is standing towards the enemy.
Attack Duration : 15 seconds max (while her hands are blue and together) Range : 6' with a 3' diameter at max range Effect : Once contact is made the area begins to get cold at a rapid rate and frostbite will set in, with this being a cone the affected area will be larger than her first attack. Effect wise the person will have trouble moving the affected area and will experience some extreme amounts of pain/ discomfort. While her hands are apart they still maintain the bluish tint and the attack functions the same as her basic attack. Number of times : 3 times and does not discriminate between Chaos and Order Aftermath Duration : The frostbite duration lasts for 20 seconds after contact is broken for the person to 'thaw' time may take longer depending on weather.

Super Sailor Eleonora - Senshi of Heat HP: 69 Blight Monsters: (all dead) Damage to Blight Monsters: 5 + 2 = 7 [Antisana's last blight is dead] Action: Obliterating the blight going after Surtur and Anti's last blight.

If Alcor wanted to separate then so be it. "Sticking together was her rule anyway," Eleonora muttered under her break. If one of us was doomed to break it then it may as well be her. She would not take the fall if things went sideways like last time.
Pivoting on her heel, she turned and again shoulder her way through the crowd towards Antisana when yet another monster stepped in her way, though fixated on someone else. "I don't have time for this..." she all but wined growing tired of these interferences.
The inky humanoid figure's attention wasn't on her and honestly, she could have sidestepped around it and kept going. But these things were a common enemy here and the man with black hair and emerald green eyes looked like he could use a bit of help.
Eleonora's hand balled into a fist at her side and after drawing in a deep breath she took a full swing at the creature's head with her own eyes completely squeezed shut knowing how gross this was going to feel. Next time she'd just use her magic because touching these oily monstrosities felt all types of wrong and disgusting.
Like the ones that had surrounded her a moment ago, this one was destroyed in much the same way. "Sorry..." she offered the senshi with a horned tiara an awkward smile knowing just how unladylike she must've looked in that moment.
For as much as she would have liked to have a moment of idle chit chat while they both caught their breath, Eleonora knew that to stop now would just present itself with more problems if more blight showed up and they were caught without a larger group. "Come with me, please. Unless someone is out here looking for you then follow me and I'll try to keep you safe." Being alone, especially as a base senshi, was incredibly unwise and she felt somewhat confident that she could protect him along with Antisana when she finally found them.
She turned again in the direction she had heard the Page's voice and glanced once more over her shoulder to offer a last plea, "please."
For now, there was a clear shot between her and Antisana as other officers and White Moon fought against the monsters that kept spawning from the dark area. "ANTI!" she yelled, picking up her pace only to run past him to throw another balled fist at the blight that chased after him.
Like the four before it, this one too was destroyed and in the same follow-through motion, she turned to face the Page and threw her arms around his neck. "I was so scared I wouldn't make it," she spoke upon a relief-filled exhale quietly enough for him to hear as she buried her face in the green fabric that covered his shoulder.

"Are you saying I'm a messy eater Firebrand? Or are you saying that I'm a mess -- cause the hottest mess I know is you," let the drawl be slow as he liked, the compliment eye-roll worthy. Albite even tossed Heliodor a wink on the tail-end, the backup was so soo soooo goood. It felt right. Fighting off the mess with a team at his side, knowing by the screaming that more of their people were hovering about in the background.
"Eww..moldy...just..ugh, now I can smell it, gross.." and now that he could smell it? More of them needed to die, with prejudice.

"Because nothing is -- Oh, please, yes, do state all the most obvious things. Next you'll tell me dogs chase cats? That rain falls from the sky and is also some manner of *wet*, really?" and maybe later on in the evening Cryolite would apologize over drinks, or over a shower in the nearest source of clean water, because all of this!? It was much too much --
"You'll have to forgive me for not knowing what an Ida is, let alone -- these!!" if it turned out Ida was some brand of potato? Cryolite was going to kill something that wasn't a splash of ink mimicking human forms...
Whatever, it was fine, if Fulgurite found a way through? He could simply drag him along with. He was not dying in some dark huddled hall! Weaved round another attack and aided Fulgurite in slashing the new additions to the fray back into the dirt. *They just seemed to keep coming*

"I'm up -- I'm getting -- Dear heart, you are--you are not a very small cat at all, are you?" and the lightly grunted jab was given with love, because right then? What he needed was not a small cat at all. A groan n rustle of feet over slick as Prehnite found his stance once more, and came face to face with Hylonome; a pack of ink hot on her heels, his bravest little flower saving him in a shower of blight that rained down across them all....
He called a dagger he'd lost through her first pile back to dig it through the remaining attackers, only to realize that his second one was missing in action-- kicked through, or slipped free, or -- He was the worst at keeping a hold of anything!!
"Yes Hylo, we really do, are you good?!" and he swore up and down he could hear Hatsya calling him over the rush of more people pouring in to strike down the monsters properly. "Hatsy--" ah, and there she was; all her firey hair showing through the darkness, he would've recognized that mane anywhere, and the look on her face that seemed to as him angrily what in the nine hells he was doing. Maybe he could use Xyla to shield him from her after the ink monsters died out?
Vauxite saved him from drowning, Mier was quietly greatful, whispered thanks through gritted teeth as he lashed out at the nearest ink monster that reformed around them -- and now a mirrored Senshi -- and then -- he slipped on stained cinderella heels, nearly ate the Earth in his attempts to keep form -- and found himself saved by not only his General and Cervantite; but a white someone unexpected as well.
Was that!? It wasn't, it couldn't've been -- but over the sound of Markeb and Vauxite calling for help. There was Alcor -- Dia's jaw hit the floor, his face sparked full of awe, of shock, of ********, because how!?
And yet -- there was so much relief for aid as the bright white and blue iced Senshi whirled by. He supposed now he owed her five now -- four for the first times she'd saved him from pits of snow, and rabbits, and owls, another time if he started adding interest for literally pulling him out of certain doom while surrounded by the same ooze monsters that'd been plaguing her planet...
"I'll get you back!" whether it was warning or thanks was unclear. Shouted after her as she moved on and he fell back into formation around his team -- "General! I'm so glad your here!"
Iðavöllr Page of Polaris HP: 32/50 Damage to the Blight monsters: 6 + 5 = 11 (Iðavöllr takes out 2 of her blight attackers and the remaining blight attacker is left with 4/5 HP)
Whilst Saffron was powering up a little more frequently than she had been, it was still somewhat rare that she was out on her own as Iðavöllr.
Truth be told she wasn't really sure why she had picked this particular evening to power up given that she had really been powering up at all over the summer.
Instead it had been more of an impulse–
The last thing she'd expected was for her ring to start blaring out an alarm or for it to start displaying some kind of map.
She'd hesitated, had managed to half talk herself out of going to investigate as she had rationalised the fact that she was alone and that a Christmas ornament was very unlikely to do much (if any) good...
It would have been better if Liryn had been with her, the small mauvian something of a comforting presence - who Iðavöllr just knew would know what to do–
But it wasn't as if the two of them had had any plans, or that the small mauvian could always come out with her.
A part of her knew that Liryn would probably want to check out, whatever was causing the alarm however, knew that the talking cat would want to help–
And perhaps it was that that had in the end convinced her to check out the map, even if Iðavöllr still hadn't been convinced on just how much help she would be.
She hadn't realised just how unprepared she would be however, or that she would be set on by a bunch of lumbering humanoid figurines. Or that the one with club-like hands would hit her hard enough to send her sprawling, but somehow she had managed to deal with two of them.
One still remained however, claw-like hands raised as it lumbered towards her.
All of her attackers were destroyed and Lacerta wasn't sure if things would remain peaceful. Wading further into the melee she struck out at the main, roiling, inky mass before backing away.
It probably wasn't going to amount to much but she'd dealt some damage to it at least. The next idea was to perhaps try and set up an impromptu spot where if people needed it they could find her for the chance to be healed. Lacerta was DMS, that was true, but at the same time if she was just focused on healing those of her own faction that left a lot of pressure on those that remained. Each side had strong fighters and yet if she could keep everyone up on their feet it would mean that a greater chance for success was present.
Was this a good idea though? Would those of order trust a dark mirror senshi? Heck, even though a truce existed between the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court, would doing something like this be looked at unfavorably? Would the other dark mirrors see this as weakness?
Well - she was here - and she wasn't one hundred percent sure on things - but healers would be needed ...
This wasn’t Beira’s usual area in any sense of it; he greatly preferred to be somewhere quite a bit more out of the way. In ordinary circumstances, he wouldn’t have come near the cluster of energy signatures at all.
But, Rainier had messaged him.
He wasn’t far enough away to ignore her or to make excuses, and he wasn’t the sort of person to avoid offering assistance if someone needed it. Right now, he wanted to make sure Rainier was okay–and when they didn’t really know what was going on at her Wonder, it made everything all the more dangerous when it was happening here in Destiny City as well.
He didn’t waste any time trying to reach her, but it came at a cost. In his haste to find her, the strange creatures had managed to do some damage. It was his own fault; he should have been more aware of his surroundings, but there was so much movement.
When weaving to avoid the monsters wasn’t working, he had t suck it up and fight. He didn’t trust his magic right now, not when there were so many people around and moving. He couldn’t keep track of them all at once, so he made his best efforts to destroy the monster with his fists and elbows as he shoved through them to try and reach her.
In all of the commotion, it felt like a miracle to actually find her by the stairs. He'd managed to compromise two of the monsters, but one was too stubborn. “Rainier!” he called. He could take care of it, he just wanted to make sure she knew he was here.

Rainier - Page of Mercury HP: 44 Blight Monster: All dead Damage to Blight Monster: 5 + 9 = 14 [Attacking the last one that followed Beira for 11 points of overkill...]
When she'd heard her name called, Rainier whipped her head around to find it's the source of the familiar voice. "Beira?" she hollered back just before spotting him among a sea of inky ooze monstrosities.
"Beira!" Thank God- Given the danger of this place, perhaps she shouldn't have felt quite this relieved to see him but she was glad to not be down here alone.
Behind him, one of the monsters followed closely and when he stopped, Rainier swung the weapon that hung on the short cord and slammed it into the blight, completely destroying it like the last three she had hit. "Good lord, I could hug you right now," and if it wasn't for their current situation, she might have. "Unless you were already here somewhere, then I'm genuinely sorry for dragging you into this. Are you ok?" She inspected him, his uniform, and the way he stood there but in this light, she couldn't tell if he had been injured.
