Captain Sodalite Location: G9 Action: Attacking beached Hollow with all the strength he can muster. Total: 2 + 5 = 7dmg HP: 125 - 35 = 90hp
Electrical currents were not a fun thing to play with. Sodalite tasted blood on his tongue from where he had bit down on it when the surge of electricity came through the shields at the creature's impact. The message that came through on his communicator had the Captain narrowing his gaze in defiance at the Calamitous Hollow before taking a running jump in order to bring his own weapon into play. Sadly the whip merely ricocheted off the creature's underbelly and, even as he was in the process of falling did he try to throw the cane towards the creature before he was out of reach. That too didn't seem to impact much and he grimaced as he hit the ground hard.

"....yeah uh. You weren't jokin'." Loke's bewildered, laughing remark to Remarque came after Mirrorspace used... the freaking... underside of the scale? Hey, if there was a damn will, clearly Mirrorspace would and will find a way.
The thing fell down against the shield, and while the electricity that coursed through the field ********' hurt...
Time to use some of the stronger new magic, yeah? Taking a breath, he leapt up, slinging out a dull orange bolt of energy towards the single target. "Betrayal of the Crown!"
Kyuseisha no HIkari
Remarque
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Betrayal of the Crown Visual: Saying the name of the attack, again Loke's hands glow a dull orange. Pointing his hands towards two targets, bolts of energy fly from his hands to the targets whom are then under a stronger compulsion than before to attack the closest allies. Effect: Like before, Loke's magic compels the target to lash out against one of the members of their team. He can target up to two opponents this time, or just one. The strength of the compulsion does not alter depending on the number of targets. The compulsion lasts for seven seconds. It is the targets' individual wills that determine the success of Loke's magic, repeated exposures does not weaken the compulsion's effect on them. Downfall: The bolts of energy can still be dodged like before. While the compulsion is harder to fight this time, it is still possible for someone to break free of the magic. He cannot control if they attack their allies with magic or by physical means, if they do at all. Someone that is a higher level than Loke would have a far easier time pushing aside the compulsion. There is a cool-down period of two minutes and he can only use this attack twice per battle.

The bolt of electricity through her system wasn't at all appreciated, but Metis was a tad more concerned for the children, watching them carefully. At least to Niflhel, she offered a bit of a smirk herself in return. "We'll just have to make this quick as we can, won't we?" Easier said than done, of course, and they had no idea how long the shield would hold... but perhaps it was the bravery speaking from Aquitania's magic that bolstered her, offering a warm smile to her and Totoro. "You both are doing wonderfully, thank you for helping us." The talk of the pieces of the scales, though... she gave a light snort of amusement. "Suppose those wouldn't be bad mementos after all this is over..."
Shaking her head in amusement, she jumped upward, placing her thumbs and index fingers together, forming a triangle that began to glow with a soft teal light. "Visions of War..." The soft whisper of the magic's name came right before she made contact with the creature, feeling the power drawing from Almadel's pin she had on adding into the strength of the attack. Yes... they'd certainly need to thank him later.

xxxVisions of War Speaking the name of the attack, Metis' hands began to glow with a soft teal light. Putting her thumbs and index fingers together, forming a triangle between her hands, she touches the target over their forehead--preferably, however due to her height the target can also be touched on their chest--leaving behind a mark that looks like a half-lidded eye, glowing teal. Even if the target has a mask, headdress, fur, or something else covering their forehead or chest, the magic will still take effect. For 40 seconds the target begins to see a vision of a possible future overlay on the world around them from their third eye, disorientating them and likely blurring the battle around them. However, it is not a completely opaque scene, so the target will still be capable of seeing danger around them, albeit possibly distracted by the contents of the vision. The exact contents of the vision are up to the player, and if the player wishes if the target is subjected to a possible future that contains injuries or some other cause of pain, the target would feel it as they experience the vision, however the pain would only be in their minds, and no lasting damage would occur. After the 40 seconds, the vision fades away. She is only capable of using this magic once per battle.

"Wonderful you two," Realta beamed, delighted at how the children were already utilizing their magics. Perfect really--support from a safe distance. What they needed right now, she hoped. She'd even seen another child, and a small group with her, racing forward... "I think they've got the final spike, perfect." The relief was heavy, but she wasn't letting her guard down yet. Near her, Snowball began to use his magic, and her brows lifted, impressed by the display of icy magic. "Oh, beautifully done! Great aim, too." Of course, she didn't miss the complement, cheeks dusting with a light color as she smiled, brushing a hand over the dark fabrics. "Thank you--I thought it would be more suitable, all things considered. I'm not the sort to stay on the sidelines, after all." Sweeping her skirts out of her way, Realta's gaze hardened as she stared up at the Calamitous Hollow, no less pleased about the electricity that had ran through the battlefield.
She could feel a pressure beginning in her fingertips, her anger at the assault mounting, hissing low in the back of her throat. She knew she didn't have magic, and while she had her laser beam... she wanted more. She needed more that could be of further assistance in this fight, to keep these children she awoke into this safe!
That pressure shifted into a burning, a heat that flared, and she winced, looking down... and noticing her nails had extended. Claws, long and wicked looking, extended from her nail beds, and she flexed her hands, watching as they remained curved and strong. Strength to protect...
Tail lashing, ears pulled back, Realta snarled up at the serpent, leaping upward to claw at the creature's underbelly. She wasn't sure the extent of the damage she could cause it... but damn it, she'd certainly try!

Dunnottar liked the sound of that. If it bleeds, it can die. Karakorum's antics made him shake his head, and then Lanting did.... some kind of secret code gesture at a Chaos agent?? What the hell.
Deciding to ignore that, he nodded to Corvina as though Corvina would see it and leapt up to give his own attack to the monster, his unicorns swarming the thing and stabbing it for several seconds before he came back down, landing near to his (and he still couldn't believe this) friends.
He barely acknowledged the presence of these others (besides noting how very... dramatic Grieve was but in a way he almost appreciated), too focused on Lanting with a disapproving frown.
Troilus wouldn't allow this creepy snake monster to destroy his new home. He thought of his family, those that had survived, those that hadn't, and his small, very small chance, at building a new one Earth. Though Isidor really was just his friend, he thought maybe there was potential for something more, as long as he did everything right. His friend was too recently divorced for anything to happen just yet... But he drew strength from the thought of protecting him anyway.
He called for his attack, lip curling as he stood by the monster and watched it writhe, trying to right itself. Hopefully, it would die here and now.
Stribor took a deep breath. Okay. He could do this. He hoped he could dizzy the snake, make it more soft, but he didn't know what anyone else's magic was doing. Maybe they were confusing it so much between aggressive emotional magic, passive emotional magic, and all of the very powerful physical attacks, that it would just have a heart attack and die. Wouldn't that be great? He really hoped that would happen. Probably futilely, but that didn't stop him.
He took another deep breath and leapt up, casting his first stage magic and holding it for as long as he dared, before jumping back down, away from the snake's awful little legs and claws, trying to keep himself safe. As safe as he could be while battling such a frighteningly large monster.
Selenga didn't have time to talk or to think anymore, not when the perfect opportunity to finally attack was in sight. He leapt up as he sensed the change in gravity and bellowed as he began his magic, praying that it would do something, anything to the snake to make it calm down and stop fighting, just, something, long enough for everyone else to do their worst to it.

Super Corrupt Hylonome Location: G9 Action: Attacking the beast with Prehnite's dagger Total: 1 + 5 = 6 dmg HP: 125-30 = 95hp
Hylonome stared up at the creature as it was harpooned first and then struck with something that reflected beautifully through the sky. The corrupt senshi of edelweiss had seen the skies part to reveal the full moon and wondered momentarily if it was a shaft of pure moonlight that had struck the beast. Whatever it was, the combination of the harpoon and moonlight seemed to have worked well enough together that the creature fell out of the sky and landed on the shields that were protecting everyone. Her gaze fell to the dagger that Hatsya had requisitioned for her behalf before she witnessed Sodalite leaping up in order to launch his own attack. Could she do something like that too?
Being jolted by a surge of electricity could have been the reason that her timing was off but just as she pushed off of the ground she felt the latent energy surge through her and as a result her throw of Prehnite's dagger wasn't at all accurate. The weapon bounced harmlessly off of the underbelly of the creature before careening back towards Hylonome herself. She managed to catch the item before it could strike her but even as she landed she inwardly despaired that a healer was all she would be good for when it came to being in battles. Maybe she would simply use Prehnite as a shield and be the healer for the rest of the team instead of trying to attack on her own.
It would almost be preferable to be alone. Antisana knew and trusted almost no one here, and although the majority of them were here for a common goal, people were unendingly selfish. This facade of 'saving the world' barely seemed like a threat to so many here and instead was just an opportunity to announce their abilities- to make others fear them. If they'd been alone...
Well, they would've failed in doing anything to the Hollow, which wouldn't have been ideal.
...But maybe they'd have been at home, instead. Blissfully ignorant. Maybe that would've been an acceptable ending, just right there. Ignorant, but content. And not having to deal with... this.
Antisana couldn't put into words why exactly he felt more frustrated than hopeless or frightened. Maybe it was just the sparks that burned across his skin, or maybe his own ineptitude. He felt no great pull to be here and had very little to contribute. But they were here now, and he was not so petulant that he would do nothing. It was just unfortunate that all he could do was jump up to smack such a massive monster with his staff.
It felt as good as doing nothing.

Drombeg, Knight of Earth Location: B4 Action: Seeing if his attack will do anything Total: 2 + 10 = 12 HP: 150-35 = 115 (from being too close to the Chaos Queen)
Drombeg couldn't help but smirk when the Order magic kicked in. If the Negaverse had something to show, so did they. Now they felt more even. Though the Queen was still not one to be messed with, nor did he want to linger anywhere around her.
The creature had now, mostly, fallen down and there were cracks starting to show in the shield where it's claws had landed. And with the odd gravity situation going on right now, well, now was as good a time to see if he could do anything, and he jumped up as hard as he could and swung up at the creature with his sword, not using any magic this time, as it was meant more for confusion. Perhaps he should save it in case they needed an escape from the Negaverse.
Nagyagite was surprised to be called out by the Senshi holding the spike, given that he was pretty sure they'd never met before. And somewhere in that group he could see the girl he'd fought twice (Aruna)--the one whose starseed he'd pulled and put back.
She'd probably speak up. Warn them all how dangerous he was.
So rather than getting closer to people who he knew didn't like him, he launched himself upward and spat venom at the thing's underbelly. Maybe it wouldn't matter. Maybe it wouldn't do anything. But at least he would know, for himself, that he showed up. That he ******** tried.
Quote:
Venom: Nagyágite's fangs can be used to deliver a toxic bite, or he can spit venom up to three feet. His venom mimics king cobra venom, causing muscle aches, blurred vision, vertigo, and drowsiness for 25 seconds, though if players wish to plot for longer or more severe effects that is possible. He can use this three times in a battle.
Well, it seemed that Order and the Dark Mirror had made their own contributions to defeating the creature as well, Arseno could give them points for that. He would have to inform Stacey of what had happened after this was all over.
For now though, it was time to attack and with that he jumped and swung his horseman's pick at the creature above them.
Laeradr smirked. "Okay, let's do this, Lionel!" he declared to his crush friend, leaping up high in the air. Oh, this was sooooo ******** cool, actually. He cast some of his pool of magic at it before descending slowly back down, panting.
Fang's stomach twisted a little and he grimaced, regretting, now, having eaten the scale. But it had been nice to confirm they could kill it. And maybe it would not be so bad to eat the meat of it, once it was dead. Fang would definitely be harvesting some to cook and see what happened. A scale turning his stomach didn't mean it was entirely poisonous; after all, that was only the outside of the snake. The insides could be much more delicious.
Baring his fangs, he roared as he leapt into the sky, crashing his phantom paw through the shield and into the soft underbelly of the snake as hard as he could before his first stage magic faded, before the lowered gravity took hold once more and lowered him to the ground. Good. Die, he thought viciously, scowling up at it. You are my prey. Not other way.
Hydrus' 'dedication' to the Dark Mirror probably would have been suspect to the rest of the Negaverse. Yet, he knew that Remarque didn't hold the same requirements at Metallia - Mirrorspace itself was a different beast on it's own. It played by different rules, and one of those was giving them just enough of a Chaos signature to keep them out of the Negaverse's eyes most of the time.
Especially when it allowed them to harpoon the beast.
Though, he would have greatly preferred if the damn thing hadn't practically fallen on top of them. Pain laced up his spine and while Remarque did not swear, Hydrus absolutely did. Damn, that hurt like a b***h.
He ducked sort of instinctually as the final spike went flying into the hands of a poor little girl, who started booking it across the field to where it needed to go. Hydrus nodded at Rem and Telesto and then pooled magic into his hands. The senshi launched himself into the air and let the weird gravity carry him above the creature for a moment. He used his pin, because when else was he going to?
"Deep Sea Monsters!" A semi corporal leviathan emerged from his palms and dropped straight onto the beast with a chomp and a watery sort of roar. He landed back with the group a moment later.

Sailor Terebellum, Deep Space Senshi of Resonance Location: B3 Action: HAVING A REACTION then attacking and having it back fire bc we love some good wonky magic Total: 10 (doubled from 5) + 10 = 20 HP: 100 - 35 - 5 = 60/100
Her tail lashed behind her a spikes went up around the space. Five--- and one more was missing. Hopefully the five would be enough. She watched as the energy tried to connect the two closest to her but it needed the sixth. The sixth that wasn't here.
Energy pulsed around her and she brought her eyes back up as the spikes tried to strike at the Hallow. It was too far. It too large. Too massive too--
Her eyes snapped down the field to the growing presence of the Queen of the Negaverse. Terebellum watched as the woman walked up the air to it, little discs of energy as her staircase. As her arms opened and she smiled like a wicked monster.
The skies tore and Terebellum let out a scream.
Pure Chaos slammed into the serpent, but Tere didn't see what happened next or the next several moments of fighting. Terebellum didn't see because she was doubled over on her hands and knees evicting everything she'd had the day prior. And then some. That sickening burn, that acid taste in her mouth that had nothing to do with the bile on her tongue. She remembered it so vividly, so very vividly from the day her world fell, from the day her world demanded her stasis to keep itself alive.
For a moment, Terebellum was back on her world, hearing it's song shift and turn calamitous around her.
Then a hand, small and shaking, rubbed small circles on her spine. Tere looked up to see the small girl - Drakonia - rubbing her back. The girl trembled and shook and her eyes were red with tears, but she still stood. Said encouraging words in a shaking voice.
Drakonia was a child... and yet she was trying her best to fight too. Terebellum stood slowly and patted her head.
"I'm alright, I'm alright," she said with a half smile. The chibi gave a nod, touched a thing on her fuku - a pin? - and just.... launched herself into the sky. The Hallow was close enough to attack, apparently, and somehow this child had no fear in that moment. Or maybe it was something else, something Tere never really had.
Resolve.
She launched herself into the sky and called her magic, blasting the monster with her magic. It shot rebounded up her arms some, though less than before. She'd take the numbness in her hands if it meant she did some damage to the monster.
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Resonance Amplification! Description: Terebellum calls the name of her attack and touches an object. Effect: In up to a 5ft radius from where she touched the object, it shudders and seems to shift and vibrate as power and energy resonates through them. This only affects inanimate objects or terrain (such as the ground or walls). Effects can alter between violent shaking and trembling when the energy does not resonate well within the target, and the target may have a suction effect when the energy resonates well. This suction effect can attract living creatures, people, and objects the size or smaller than a human. She cannot control the effect and it may manifest randomly in battle. At player choice and RP direction, small objects may crack or explode. Duration: 30 seconds; small objects can explode at any point in time during this use if plotted with RP partner Range: Terebellum must touch the object to use her magic. Uses: 3
Chibi Drakonia, Senshi of Komodo Dragons Location: B3 Action: Rubbing Tere's back and attacking with wonky magic! Total: 10 (doubled from 5) + 10 = 20 HP: 100 - 35 - 5 = 60/100
This was all a whole heck of a lot for Drakonia. This certainly wasn't something she'd been told she'd have to handle when that cat gave her a pen and made her a magical girl. Then again, in all the magical anime or movies, the big world threatening thing usually came after the protagonist became a magical girl. The helper animals were never really... privy to it.
Except that cat-fox thing from Madoka. That thing absolutely knew what it was doing and what would happen and wanted that.
Drakonia couldn't do much with it out there beyond the clouds. She really couldn't do much while a very, very scary lady stepped up into the air and then blasted the damn thing with a beam of Chaos incarnate. Terebellum let out a scream next to her and dropped to her hands and feet, as agony shot through Drakonia's very being. It was like the Chaos was trying to eat her from the inside out.
Got it, Negaverse very. very bad.
It passed and she bent down a little to rub Tere's back. The lady was not having a good time, and while Drakonia also wanted to puke from that display, she didn't. Not when Tere seemed so distraught.
Something crashed into the shield and Drakonia cried out as pain laced through her bones. The Chaos might not have hurt, but that absolutely did. She looked up and saw the beastie much closer. They could attack it now.
"Come on, Ms. Terebellum. We can attack it now," she said, even as her voice shook. She was scared, she was terrified. But they had to try or she couldn't very well call herself a magical girl, now could see? She launched herself into the air and hissed a long spectral tongue out to smack the serpent with.
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Drakonia's Hiss Drakonia hisses, a spectral forked tongue lashing out from her mouth. Effect: Upon contact, the tongue creates the sensation of mild acidic damage to her opponent for up to 20 seconds. Duration: Instant, tongue lasts for 15 seconds but disappears on contact Range: Close range, up to 5ft Uses: 3 per battle
Ram let out a growl as he felt the Order energy surge. Even if it wasn't aimed at him, it hurt much worse than the Queen's energy. It felt as though his fur had been burned on the outside lightly. He was only glad that he didn't smell like burned fur.
With the help of Order and Dark Mirror however, the creature was now close enough for Ram to attack and using his powerful legs he shot up, intending to hit the creature as hard as he could with his head.
Caliban let himself be led by Gorner as they moved away. "Hopefully whatever my magic can do something..." This reminded him too much of the monster on his homeworld and he couldn't help but feel panic as he thought about his magic not doing anything to something that was MUCH bigger and MUCH worse than what he had.
Luckily it seemed that Gorner had some sort of plan and he let himself be led by her. He only just managed to wrap his arms around her as the creature fell partially on the shield and sent pain through them all. But this was something they could bear, the shield was holding, though not very well now. For a moment he wondered if the shield collapsed if they would all be crushed under the weight of the snake.
He did feel a bit more hope when Order launched their own attack. They weren't completely helpless against the Queen then if she decided to attack them.
He nodded when Gorner suggested they attack and watched as she used her own weapon to boost her attack. Caliban couldn't help but be impressed and whispered a small "wow..." as he watched Gorner launch herself against the snake and hitting it.
Then he remembered that he could also attack. He steadied himself and launched himself up at the snake with a "Seal Matrix!" being uttered and hitting it as hard as he could with his hands.
Quote:
Seal Matrix When he hits an opponent with his fists, causes them to be temporarily paralyzed for 15 seconds, where he hit his opponent (the same was as in the basic attack), but can be used 4 times. If he hits in quick succession, then the effect stacks (so if he hits twice quickly, that's 8 seconds). However, for the stack effect to take place, he must hit a different spot. He cannot hit the same spot. Starting at this stage his hands glow as he is about to hit.
"Oh <******** YES," Persephone shouted, unhesitating glee at the ballista shot bursting from Mirrorspace and yankingt he Hollow into position. "That's how we ******** DO IT!"
Of course, there was a shock of electricity that made her stumbler when it hit the shield, but it didn't dim her enthusiasm. A new feeling, since she'd felt fairly cynical about a lot of things lately. But there was nothing like a big fight against a big monster to get a girl going, apparently.
Yeah, yeah, the Negaverse had big fat Chaos cannons and the White Moon had the ******** moon itself or whatever, but that slithery stormy b*****d was now firmly held in place, and that meant they could fight it.
And sure, Persephone was tiny. Sure, she wasn't built like a fighter. But she'd been a Sailor Senshi for years, and she could still throw a punch.
So she did, launching her fist for the snake's underbelly.
Electricity coursed through her, and Ariadne winced. Still, she was pleased to see the shield hold, and to see the snake pinned in place by the Mirror's own ballista.
They'd put themselves into it. Maybe it wasn't as flashy as a Chaos cannon or a literal moonbeam, but no one would be reaching the thing without them.
And she, too, needed to reach it. So she threw herself upwards, grinning the whole way. This....was definitely going to go their way.

Eternal Sailor Alastor Location: C8 Action: Talking to Sess/Lucien, by Ganymede/Valhalla/Laurelite Total: 2+3rd stage+Almadel's Pin HP: 105 / 150
In a normal battle, Alastor would have been happy to confront his enemy head-on and keep it a fair fight. He wanted to win because of who he was and what he could do, not how many ancient artifacts he could stack up.
…But fighting a world-eater was never going to be a fair battle, and after seeing what it could take, he decided every little bit counted.
Which meant, he was ready to go all out.
Valhalla looked like he was trying to sweet talk the Queen of the Negaverse, and while Alastor wasn’t really sure he knew what to expect of that ambitious undertaking, he knew that they had a small window to do something about their enemy.
He’d kept his eyes on the boys this whole time and they were doing their best. If the Negaverse hadn’t been here, he’d have liked to be closer so he could congratulate them on a job well done.
But, they were literally standing right next to the Queen of the Negaverse, and with her sufficiently distracted, he pulled two things from subspace.
Once, he’d given Amarynthos and Ephesus a pair of matching bracelets. It was far from the only set he had. Not that Sessrumnir needed him to bestow more jewelry upon him, at least this time it was practical.
He pulled out two identical bracelets, clearly a matching set, and slid one onto Sessrumnir’s wrist before sliding his own on as well. “For luck,” he said, because they both could use a bit of it. He patted Lucien’s side. “I’m going to hit it, are you coming up for the ride? You’ll have to hold on if you do.”
He didn’t say that he was going to attack as quickly as possible but it was obvious; he didn’t want to leave Ganymede or Valhalla for too long, even if Laurelite currently seemed somewhat particularly affable at present.
